Park & Suites Village Evian-Lugrin  

I've stayed at the hotel in summer. The place is very quiet. It's far from any places of interest and supposed only for those who travel by car. Nice little kitchen with a fridge and microvawe allows you too make breakfasts and dinners. WiFi was OK.

It's very hard to find the hotel without detailed instructions (I recommend to ask for instructions before arriving). Be ready that no one will clean the rooms or take out your litter - you have to do it on your own.

very good environmant, it's located in the half way up the hill, no easy to reach. but you will not dissapiont once you get there. you could cook for yourself there. you will hear bird singing in the morning. but only for self drive visiter. we like this flat hotel.

A wonderful hotel! Comfortable new rooms, well-equipped kitchen, a delightful view of the lake, the mountains and the shore of the Switzerland. Clean air, a swimming pool and a tennis court, a good Internet. Good location on the border with Switzerland, in a convenient day-trips around the Swiss Alps and in French Alps and in small authentic towns.

- Reasonable rates - Position vis-a-vis Lake Lacman, Switserland, French skiing resorts.

- In winter after snow fall, there is a huge problem with a certain section of the private ( ?) road leading to complex which can play havoc with your plans for departure in the morning. Steep section of the road is not cleared imeously in the mornings after snow fall. - I got the impression the staff is rather unconcerned with the chaos caused to all their guests - You certainly need CHAINS on the tyres after snowfall.

Good value for money with a kitchen

Noisy - with no staff on site at night, some guests were very loud. Small (but expected at the price) Kitchen missing cleaning equipment

The location and the room itself were great

The website and the actual amenities are grossly out of proportion, which brought my expectations up and left me and my husband disappointed. We were expecting a pool, sauna, tennis, gym, relaxation, etc. When we arrived, we were told that the pool is closed (it looked indoor on the site and it wasn't obvious that it was seasonal, my daughter was bummed!), no sauna, gym was completely broken ( almost nothing worked!), and that we have to take out our own trash, wash linens, and clean. Relaxation? Not so much. In the morning we came for breakfast ( 8E!! Geez!) and were told that we were supposed to warn the manager and that it's not possible to have breakfast today because they were not prepared ( we weren't warned!). We made the best out of it but I was disappointed. Maybe during the actual season it is better ( ski?). Also, if we knew about all of it, 60E/night isnt bad

siehe folgendes Mail an die Park& suite Office: We like to express our appreciation for our rental object 17D. The house is nice. Bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms are well arranged - everything is good and practical - to our full satisfaction. - Merci! But - sad to say - any accommodation is only as good as the neighborhood next door... In this regard we have ample reason for complaint! Saturday night (Oct. 13th 2012) from about 10:30 o'clock on, there has been a lot of loud noise, crying and yelling from male voices in apartment 17C. Since it sounded of many men, and for our ears most probably many drunken men, we were in fear to knock at their door and ask for calmness. Then at about 0:30 AM a police-car arrived in front of house 17. Perhaps someone in the next houses had alarmed police. Half an hour later at about 1:00 AM a police - or ambulance-Bus arrived with its blue alarm-light on and remained there with this flickering light for almost one hour in front of house No 17. (See attachment) Finally - around 2 o'clock AM - Sunday morning the noise and light-terror ended, and we started to try to sleep... Next morning - around 9 AM again loud voices from apartment 17C, but fortunately only for a few minutes. Then 4 Men left with their black Renault the Park-Suite village. (See attachment) Will they come again??? Will they be drunk again??? Will they make this terrible noise again??? If yes, we will have to quit our contract and ask for our money back and leave Park-Suite forever.

Beautiful view and location. Very peaceful.

Our room could have been cleaner. There was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived. It is kind of strange how there is no staff on duty on Sunday and only limited hours the other days.

I dont understand what the poor reviews are for, both members of staff I met at reception were helpful and polite, the rooms were clean and as described.

Swimming pool could still be used during cold weather as it was indoors.

It is not an interesting place, Evian is borred and expensive, you only need to be one dey there to visit Evian. The recepcionist are not as profesional as they should be. If you want to be some days in a interesting and beautifull village, is better to go to Annecy

Quiet place

Reception need to be more profissional with customers (hint .. always smile and be patient and choose nice words to say) .. the hotel is surrounded with trees so that you cant see the lake .. you have a dish washing machine but you dont have a clothes washing machine! .. ac was needed for a few days while the weather was hot

Excellent location, reasonable value of money, and many supermarket and restaurants withon 10 minutes by car. .

For Cleaning you should pay 18 euro each time to clean your room, staff not friendly with Arab guests, theu claimed every day about the arabs attitude.

Although the appartment seemed relatively new, the appartment was very dirty. Hairs everywhere (behind doors, under the beds), sticky floors, food leftovers in the microwave oven. What do people pay for for final cleaning here? We whitnessed how another appartment was cleaned : 5 people cleaned it french-style in less than 10(!) minutes without properly vacuuming or mopping.

We arrived and were asked to pay for our week,s stay up front which we did ,we had paid for a 40 sq meter appartment when given our key we found we had been given a 23 sq meter sudio in the main block, no view no balcony ,no acondition ,we went back to reception and were told there may be another larger appartment two days later but has there were fully booked there was nothing there could do,we asked for a refund but were told no one with authorization would be available for another 2 days and even then there could not guarantee our monies would be returned,we contacted booking .com and there sorted out our refund and were very helpful,if you get the appartment you book great but please confirm in advance in busy times . ten minute drive to evian, quite isolated
