- very agreeable and helpful personnel - good location - very comfortable room and spacious bathroom - always punctual with breakfast served to the room
Great location, near the Gambetta metro station. Safe neighbourhood even at 2 AM. (There is a police station near the hotel) The receptionists who can speak english very well) were really nice and helpfull. Even the cleaning ladies were nice. Our room was always tidy and clean. The room is a little bit small but it was good enough for us. Bed was very comfy and quiet. Breakfast was good too. Free wifi good reception. You should definately check this place out.
Very close to cafes, restaurants and metro. Friendly staff at the reception.
The room was extremely small. We were expecting a small room but not that small. It was not much bigger than the double bed in it. It was impossible to move without bumping into our bags, travel cot or the stroller. There was no fridge, kettle nor tea in the room. We had to ask for the kettle and were provided with one. We had to keep the food for our baby on the little balcony. What we really were unhappy about is the fact that our room was entered by the cleaner even though we put the "do not disturb" sign outside of the door. That was simply unacceptable.
Public Areas were drab and no breakfast room
Location was great, just around the corner from metro stop. Many nice bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Room (# 627 on top floor) was spotless, and although it was small, it was well-designed so we weren't tripping over our stuff or bumping into each other. Excellent wifi. Hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Will stay here again when next in Paris.
It was perfect for our needs -- clean comfortable place to sleep and shower. Otherwise, we were out exploring the city. Good wifi was a plus.
Rooms are very clean, Location, Staffs.
Tiny twin room but the double room was spacious enough.
Very helpful staff, try to meet all our demands Gambetta metro station is super close, therefore quite easy to get to all the spots in Paris by metro
Well decorated rooms, very comfy bed, great shower, good location.
Good location. The staff were very thoughtful & made our late night arrival easy. The room was very spacious, comfortable & super clean. Breakfast fresh & delicious.
Nothing at all!!
Nice location, atmosphere, nice room, very nice staff, comfortable bed
No kettle in room.
standard stuff you'd want and expect: elevator, clean, hot water, water pressure. nothing fancy.
location not in central area. small elevator, small room, no common area, one staff member sometimes pretends he doesn't speak english well (?!) - he speaks plenty when he wants to, another staff member wanted me to wait for her to smoke a cigarette.
We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed on 6th floor which can see the Eiffel from our room. Staff were incredibly helpful and got every single information we need. So lucky that I found this hotel.
Brilliant hotel of you don't want to spend a fortune on accommodation. Couldn't really fault it. Lovely breakfast brought to your room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Metro station just around the corner
Very nice hotel, good price, next to metro station.
Very friendly staff, very helpful
Very friendly and co-operative staff; 2 minutes to the bus and metro station
Very friendly staff who are also very helpful. The hotel is excellent value for money and is about 100 metres from the underground station so easy to get around. Also the room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. Thank you.
Helpful staff, friendly attitude, efficient too.
We liked everything about this hotel. The owner and manager were very helpful and pleasant. It has been recently renovated The decor is peaceful. While it is not in the centre of Paris it is close to the metro and bus. It is in the 20th arrondissement near many little restaurants and parks. We could also see the Eiffel Tower in the distance from our hotel window. The room rate for Paris was reasonable.
We liked everything.
Close to the metro station, quiet hotel. Nice view from the window. 15-20 minutes to go to the city centre. Tasty breakfast in the room. Lots of cafes and restaurants near the hotel. Great value for money.
Location - close to the metro and was easy to get to anywhere really. Cleanliness. Good view from room. Lovely helpful owners. Room and bathroom of very reasonable size.
We sleep with windows open and during the week there was some traffic noise quite early, with windows closed you don't hear much. The weekends are quiet though and the Hotel is really lovely then.
Although not in the heart of Paris, It's a lovely area with some fantastic local shops - take some time out to have a look around. Bed very comfortable, shower hot and powerful. Sheets and towels changed every day. Had the breakfast one day which was a tasty treat. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Could benefit from tea making facilities and a mirror in the main bedroom.
This is a small hotel located at the east end of Paris, a bit far away from main sites but it is just 2 minutes walk to the Gambetta Metro Station, through which all major sites are readily accessible. The hotel is clean and the neighbourhood is safe and with grocery stores and a lot of cafes around. The management staffs are friendly and helpful. Overall. great value for money.
It would be good to have small appliances like a small fridge and kettle. Could be hot in summer as it is not air-conditioned.
Stayed Sep 25 - 29. We really enjoyed our stay there. The service and help provided by the receptionists Alexandre, Sonya and manager Anthony were excellent. Needed an electric adapter and they loan us one. Asked for some hot water and they provided us with an electric kettle. We found it unique that their receptionists work 15 hours a day from 7.00am to 10.00pm for a few days and then off for several days. With the metro just 1 minute away it does not really matter where you stay. Important to take exit 5 or 4 at Gambetta station. When we first arrived, we followed the crowd and took the main exit. Even though we were close, we had a tough time locating the hotel. The hotel is located in a small street which even the people around there don't even know. Wifi was excellent and the water pressure in the shower was the strongest I had ever come across. They rate themselves 1 star but I would rate them an extremely good 2 stars hotel.
Cannot think of any for what we paid for.
The staff were amazing, the customer service exceptional. I felt like I could have asked the reception for anything and as long as it was within their power they would do it for me. Breakfast is brought to your room at the time you request, it consists of: one baguette (about 30cm long) one croissant a pot of tea or coffee (at least two big cups worth) milk orange juice selection of butter, jam and honey The location is very nice, with many shops, bars, and restaurants nearby.
The internet connection was a little bit unreliable, having different speeds depending on the time of the day (the more people in the hotel using the internet, the slower it is) It is also room dependent as the wifi box is at one corner of the hotel (which I was furthest away from). But if you need the internet for work or checking something then you can always just got into the corridor with your laptop or phone to use it.
