Great Location. Very helpful staff, we arrived at 10.15pm and the receptionist arranged a cold buffet in our room because the restaraunt was closed. The room was looking a bit 'tired', the bathroom realy needed updating.

Good location, very friendly staff, fireplace, good bed, very quiet (due to lack of guests in February perhaps) The guest rooms in very poor shape: closets without doors, windows cracked, garbage under the bed, air conditioner stored in the room through the winter. In the hotel lobby, the flue on the fireplace wasn't venting properly and the entire first floor smelled like a campfire gone wrong. More staff than guests. Quite sad overall.

The location was very good - right in the centre of the town. There is a lovely courtyard garden for dining and relaxation. Rooms are slightly larger for French standards. Staff were friendly. Definitely not value for money. Rooms and lifts are 'tired' looking, (similar to other French hotels) and the breakfast buffet was poor. This was included in the price. My room had a wardrobe with mirrored doors. One mirror was badly broken/cracked by the handle, which was potentially hazardous. Also, the main door to my room didn't close easily. When I complained, the only rooms which were offered, were sub-standard to the one I had booked. At the time of booking with 'booking.com' I was informed that I was not allowed to cancel due to the 'favourable' price of the room. Then, after the booking, I received an e-mail from the hotel informing me that I would have to pay 20 euros per night for my dog! (2012) This is unfair for the customer.Naturally, I complained ,but the only explanation/answer given, was that it was their policy. Free parking is difficult to find.

Personnel très aimable & tres bonne Situation géographique de l'hotel. Lit confortable Staff very friendly and hotel very well situated in town center. Beds confortable. Nous avons reserve 5 chambres pour 2 nuits. Chambres vétustes et mal insonorisées (voisins, ascenseur...). Petit déjeuner vraiment pas bon : viennoiseries sèches, œufs immangeables.... Et vu le prix c'est inadmissible. L’hôtel ne mérite pas 3 étoiles! Hotel a besoin d'etre refait. We booked 5 rooms for 2 nights. Rooms are old and noisy (neighbours, lift..) Breakfast inedible : dry croissants, eggs....considering the price, it's unacceptable. Shouldn't be a 3 star hotel! Hotel needs refurbishing

The buffet breakfast was good. Not much hot food choice but the selection of cold food was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable although no a/c in the room.A De-humidifer/fan was in the room which made it bearable from the +38* when we stayed. Lady at the reception during the day was super - she helped unreserverdly when we had to orgainse the return of our car after it was towed away from the Market Place the night before without us knowing about it!. She also gave us our room back at the same rate that we had booked with on booking.com after we found out that we could not get our car back until the next day! The night reception could have given a bit more information about the hotel / surroundings when checking in. The Place d'Armes and Parks are wonderful but we not told about these until we looked on google whilst waiting for our car!

Location, opposite the chateau and its gardens. Bus from the railway station stops 10 meters, parking withing 50 meters. The entry hall, bar and restaurant, and especially the quiet and cool court-yard, are attractive. Staff is helpful. Breakfast (buffet style) is ok. Small room (on the fourth floor right under the roof) with noisy airconditioner standing in the room.

Excellent central position How to write what I did'nt like without complaining. No change since last time I was there. Hotel Management should inspect showers etc. I have stayed at Napoleon many times but, each time the shower is loose and not properly attached to the wall. A good shower is very impoertant to me. This would be a low cost imprevement

Lovely location, exquisite service, very kind and polite staff, fabulous kitchen. Noisy door-slamming and extremely impolite Chinese visitors, the same that also blew the alarms several times at the castle, completely lacking in manners and culture.
