Breakfast was lovely..
We enjoyed the whole experience.
Lovely little town full of friendly people. The Chateau Fontainebleau was spectacular! My husband and I have toured Versailles twice, but always found it extremely crowded and so difficult to take things in, while being jostled by other guests. Fontainebleau was nothing like that at all. It IS a magnificent chateau, not to be missed in terms of size, architecture and beauty. What is missing is the crowds. Most of the time, we were alone in the rooms (save a few security guards). It made it so much more pleasant to be able to actually take our time and really look at things rather than being constantly jostled along by the crowds of tourists. If you are anywhere nearby, definitely take the time to see it.

Fontainebleau is easily the rival of Versailles, and the bonus is there are far less people squeezing around. The gardens are perfect for a stroll around the water features, people picnicking on the grass and exploring hidden gems within them. The Palace was amazing, without the gold bling of some but with vastly richer history and ornate features easily a match for anything.
The town clearly has a multitude of dining options, we got Italian from Pizza Mimi which was wonderful, and we found a quaint little church and some unique little shops in the short time after the Palace closed.
Skip the day-trip do yourself a favour and stay longer to properly explore everything this beautiful part of France just out of Paris has to offer.

We had a family break celebrating my 60th birthday on Easter Sunday and we met up with family who live nearby. There is plenary to do for the Easter break in the hotel. They provide everything you need and more. Lovely feel staff friendly. We didn’t eat food as we did our own celebrations but it looked lovely and well laid out. I would happily stay here again.

We took the tourist train thru the gardens to get our orientation, then did our own walk. Even in October it was a great walk.
Did a self guided tour of the chateau with an audio guide - much better with the guide than it would have been without. Some amazing history explained!
The shops, restaurants & the walk ability were all great.

My visit to Fontainebleau was to watch the Ladies Real Tennis World Championships in the Chateau. Great event , hotel was close by . The staff in the restaurants visited were all great , despite a busy Easter week with great weather and lots of tourists . Dined at both lower price and higher price restaurants .
The property was smack-dab in the center for all that Fontainebleau has to offer! We were within biking distance to the forest, walking distance to the castle and so so so close to so many great eateries. The property was so clean, and it was almost like entering Naria with how quiet and removed from the bustle of the town it felt back in the section with the apartment. It was private and so peaceful, and there was so much space in the apartment!
Great location for the chateau visit. The 2-star hotel felt more like a 3-star. We didn't try the breakfast since a charming cafe was just 1 min walk away. Would stay there again, if needed to visit Fontainebleau palace again, which itself is a great destination.
The apartment is really good size for a family of four. Nice and upgraded kitchen. Bedrooms are really nice size. The living room and dining area is good and has an open style. Most Americans will find it just like any other 2 bedroom apartment here.
Very comfortable and spacious room. Very new & clean & in a great location just a few steps away from the palace & short stroll into the centre ville. Good breakfast ample parking. All round good quality hotel & very good value for money.
If you are going to Fontainebleau for a couple of days and would like to stay in a clean hotel with parking space near the city center this is the best option for you. The hotel room was clean with great wifi and a comfortable bed.
A quiet location, very close to the center of the town. A good sized private studio with a small balcony and views as far as the Chateaux de Fontainebleau. The bed was super comfy. Perfect for a few days in Font!
Perfect location for hiking&biking in and around Fontainebleau. Centre just a few minutes by bike. Little garden with sun during most of the day. Garden table and (deck)chairs available. Good bed/mattress.
Nice hotel, very good location, advantage they have parking places. It just would be nice to know before that you have to pay for them. All in all, very nice stay and I would recommend it to my friends.
The location is just perfect, everything we needed is just around the hotel. Moreover, the staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly. The room was clean and a great value for the money.
Staff are totally wonderful, big room bath and shower. Everything you need and more. Chef even conjured up a magnificent risotto for 2 hungry vegetarians
Right next to Fontainebleau chateau
Excellent location for Chateau. Buffet breakfast had many nice choices including scrambled eggs and bacon. Very comfortable bed. Parking best at Chateau lot on street behind hotel.
Very friendly and service-minded staff. OK bar/ breakfast area. Safe parking space at the back with easy access to the hotel.
Appreciated very much that they accepted a dog.
We loved our stay at Demeure Les Aiglons. Our room
