The Napoleon Paris hotel is located just a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees. It offers individually designed rooms with modern comforts. Rooms and suites overlook the quiet Avenue de Friedland or the hotel’s green interior courtyard. They come fully equipped with LCD flat screen TV, air conditioning, and tasteful furniture. The modern marble bathrooms have bathtubs, magnifying mirrors and bathrobes. The Napoleon’s well-known restaurant, the Bivouac Café, offers gourmet cuisine and the bar has a sheltered terrace with a fountain. Central location. Comfort. Good size bed. A very nice hotel with good service in a good location. Breakfast not included in high rate. Wifi only included in lobby. Prices for fridge items in room extortionate!! Pricelist 'hidden' at the back of the fridge. We were offered upgrade to 'junior suite' for 30 euros. Thought this was ok and accepted their offer. On checkout was told it was 30 euros per night. This should have been explicit at time of offer. Only after heated discussion and very reluctant acceptance the hotel charged 30 euros as quoted. Not a very pleasant end to the stay as made to feel somehow in the wrong. They told me 'it is normal' as per night charge, but they should not assume that this is something that the customer knows. Would not have upgraded if had been aware that it was per night charge.I Asked to see the paper I had signed as I remembered that is said 30 euros which was written on it in big writing. The desk manager pointed out in small print in brackets underneath that it was a per night charge but I still maintain that it should have been sold to me as 60 euros and not 30 euros....

The location was just great, it is less than a couple of minutes to Champs Elysees. The junior suite avenue was just fantastic, especially with the view to arch de triumph. I got a junior suite connected to a classic room, the room size was pretty small. However the junior suite was really exceptional. I’d very much recommend it. The staff was not very professional. The only guy that was of great help is Julian in the front desk.

Hotel is incerdible! Location right near the Triumphant Arch and Champs Elysees. It's luxurious to the core! And all little things like a box of candies as a gift and a bookshlef. You can feel that the owner and top management really wanted to touch your heart and make you come back again and again. I stayed there with my boyfriend for 2 days, as a weekend in our 2-week business trip to Germany and Spain. We were planning to split up after this business trip. But this 2-day stay in Napoleon hotel in Paris changed everything. Romance was overflowing and we fell in love all over again. We did not like the attitude of the staff a little. Slightly looking down on you and arrogant, like they are the kings of the world just because they were hired by this hotel. It's completely opposite of how staff behaves in Sofitel Munich or Radisson Hamburg (both 5-stars) and a nice bcn Events hotel in Spain. They don't make you feel welcome and at home in Napoleon. While in Spain or Germany they are very friendly and sincerely warm; in Napoleon they are extremely polite, but not sincere. Like in French Kiss George iv hotel. Excellent comparison! And some things do require rennovation in the interior. Preserving the style, but just new in age. I think administration already realized it, since they started with elevator rennovations.

The staff were very friendly and were very pleased to speak English as we were not fluent in French. Excellent, helpful and courteous staff made our stay enjoyable. Room Service and quality of food excellent.Champagne on arrival in our room was really nice.....chilled and ready. The prices in the bar were expensive, but this is possibly standard with hotels in Paris. 15 euro for any spirit drink was a bit steep!

Location, Staff and Peace. It was really a nice atmosphere in the Napoleon. Also Room has been quiet and well equiped.Even Parking for € 28,-- per Day in underground Parking was okay teking into account Paris parking prices. Price in the Hotel Bar has been higher then on Eiffel Tower.

The Napoleon Paris is a lovely hotel located on the Right Bank one block from the Arc de Triomphe and a block from the Champs Elysees. Buses stop a block from the hotel and the metro is on the corner. Most sites are easily accessible from this location. My accomodations were upgraded and very comfortable, had a good view of the Eiffel Tower with its twinkling lights and a terrace on which I could sit and view a part of Paris. The bathroom had a jetted shower stall as well as a jacuzzi tub which were wonderful choices after sightseeing all day and into the evenings. The staff were very professional and helpful, especially Mairie and the bellmen. They responded quickly to my requests and made my stay very enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was fairly elaborate and was worth the 26 euro comparatively speaking. I would gladly stay again when I return to Paris.

The suite we stayed in was fabulous. Really large by Parisien standards and had a great view of the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, just like the photo'S. The doors on the suite also opened as a juliette balcony which is a great option to being in air conditioning all the time. The staff were very helpful and professional and the hotel has the feel of a picturebook quintessential Paris hotel. The suite was offered at a great price via booking.com compared to comparable properties in the area and of this size. It would be great if the rooms had free wifi as well as the lobby. The 20 euro per day is fairly expensive for wifi usage by todays standards.

Proximity to the city. We were fortunately upgraded to a suite from a standard room, for no extra charge. The bed was huge, I reckon I've seen smaller swimming pools. As such our stay was very luxurious and the room extremely spacious, especially by french hotel standards.

The location is excellent and overall the staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was very nice and the hotel is very clean. The cost to use wifi in your room was to expensive. Most of the properties we stayed in while we were in Europe offered free wifi not only in the lobby but also in the room. No workout facility was an issue for us and no affiliation with any local gym. One of the elevators was under renovation while we were there. Nice that you the hotel was upgrading it just seemed like a busy time to do it.

The location is excellent. It is a few steps from Arc de Triomph and Champs Elysee. Yet it is on a quite street and away from the crowds. The Metro station is also a few steps away. The staff of the hotel was not helpful. I did not try the restaurant at the hotel but I have not seen a patron at that restaurant during the two days we stayed there. The room smelled of fresh paint (strong oil based paint odor) and the staff would not do anything about it even after complaints.

The location of the Napoleon was spectacular. The service and the cleanliness was superb. We needed a house doctor as my daughter had a throat infection. A gentleman at the front desk called the house doctor and he was at our room within the hour. There is renovation going on in the hotel at the moment. The suite beside ours was being worked on and woke us up very early one day. I mentioned that to the front desk and the men started working after 9 am for the remainder of our stay. They called us a taxi for the airport and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our vacation. In the fall if I return, I will definitely stay at the Napoleon. Your rated it an 8.2.........it certainly is! Lovely! We liked everything.
