The rooms were clean and the breakfast okay.
This hotel has no lift so if you are on the third, fourth or fifth floor it is a long haul with your heavy suitcase as the staff will not assist you. The rooms are clean and have showers in them but the toilet is near the stairway landings, inconvenient but not the end of the world.
Not much at all.
Where to begin. I chose this hotel after the review score on booking.com indicated above 8 out of 10 where most of the others were around 6 out of 10. This makes me think the reviews have been manipulated. The room wasn't big enough to swing a cat in. The room had no toilet. The shower was cold. I'm only glad I was staying one night. If I was with a family, I would have walked out and found somewhere else to stay as this was not fit for purpose in my view.
That are Renovation the Rooms so the stairs are very dirty. The receptionist does not feel you warm welcome. Anyhouw the owner is great doing it's possible to make you well. Don't take breakfast for 9,90€ You can enjoy it better outside cause it's piece of baguette, croissant, orange juice and powder coffee at the entrance to take.
Good location, Relatively clean room
The pictures on the website do not represent real hotel look, the worst toilet, small rooms, bad breakfast, military hallways
Clean modern room! Easy to find from the gard du nord! Next to the metro! Close to fast food! Overall a lovely hotel!
There are a lot of stairs to climb if you are on the top floor like we where! They are a killer!!
Good price for good rooms. 1 minute from Metro 2 and 4. 5 minutes from Central station/ gare du nord, cool little Restaurants. Friendly service.
Can be real loud at night, Because of the people on the Street and People in the hotel (rooms real Close to each other)
The room was nice and clean
There was no Bathroom in my room. The communal WC wasn't in a great condition.
The location of the hotel is great.
It's pretty dangerous to go out of the hotel after sunset.
Technically in Montmartre, although not in a nice neighborhood. Room recently renovated although the rest of the building looked dirty and unkept.
Not nice neighborhood. No elevators, 5 floors and narrow spiral stairs with no help from staff. Receptionist wasn't friendly.
great location, friendly staff, close to public transport and Gare du Nord, so it is good location for all who come to Paris by air
no lift and building has got 5 floors.. no storage space in rooms
Newly decorated rooms were fresh, light and airy. Balcony style windows allowed good breezes when opened. Neat room but with ample space and storage for a travelling couple with excess luggage! Friendly, helpful, english speaking staff. Tea and coffee facilities via vending machine in lobby. New bathroom, great shower! Close to major train stations, hop-on-hop-off bus route and metro station. Free wifi in our room.
It didn't bother us as we were so busy sightseeing, however not many English speaking TV channels available.
The room was very small and clean. Everything was brand new. Great value for money
The shared WC could do with a renovation. Not so safe for a girl to stay out till late in this area. The room could do with sound proofing
a top location to explore Montmartre, in direct vicinity of metro and two railway stations, friendly staff with a good-looking dog, very clean, recently renovated room, shining new bathroom
no place for luggage in the room and no place to hang clothes, stairway bears the marks of ongoing renovation
Bruno, the owner was very welcoming and despite the 4 floor climb, I was really pleasantly surprised to enter a boutique room. Compact double bedroom with a very well designed en suite was excellent value for money. 7 minute walk to the Gare Du Nord and Sacre Couer meant the location was perfect for my requirements. Rooms were very clean and tidy and Bruno deserves the praise. I would stay again for sure.
The location was a bit edgy but I quite liked the reality of the hustle and bustle of real Paris.
Location - near to Sacre Ceaur and Pigalle. 2 minutes from Monoprix
WC outside the room
Nice mattress ensured a comfortable nights sleep
Sharing a toilet on each floor
The room was on 5th floor. The hotel had no elevator, but they didn't mention it in booking.com.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. Very basic.
The room must have been freshly painted and it was very stuffy and hard to breathe. Unfortunately the location of my room was directly across from workmen doing construction in another room. The noise was ridiculous.
Newly renovated room with shower only. Room was great! Staff were very helpful and would give suggestions on how to get places, they know its not a great area and made me very aware of this and cared about me as I was alone. Staff are 24 hours.
Not knowing about the renovations until I got there. Reno people start early and if you have the window open it can be quite noisy. Reno the bathrooms next please. Not a great part of Paris but very close to a metro station and Gare Nord and Est (main train stations). Even though its not a good area of Paris and being a solo female I didn't have issues even coming back late at night. I did end up with bites on me whether it was bed bugs or mosquitoes I am not sure.
Bruno & his staff were helpful, welcoming, honest and caring. My room was very clean & secure. I would stay again. If you want to stay somewhere where staff care about your wellbeing then this is the hotel for you. Thanks, Bruno
Renovating the toilets next would be a great idea.
dirty , the door always have to snock the before get in at night , You can get better places for the money.
It was haunted! Being a psychic medium it was the one part I enjoyed. Location was good for Sacre Ceour and Gare Du Nord
Dirty dated shared toilet which was a cupboard on the stair with no window just a hole in the wall! No lift - I have a bad back and had to drag my suitcase up the stair. Building work going on so was dusty and dirty. Guests were loud/noisy, staff spoke poor/little english. No tea making facilities in room, rubbish tv - 4 channels. You can get better places for the money. Also there were smokers in the hotel! I don't want to smell cigarette smoke where I am staying :(
A hotel staff called Loqine (not sure if I spelled this right) is polite and tried his best to assist us.
The hotel is situated in a dangerous area. Although the nearest metro station is 80 metres walk from the hotel, that station is very quiet and there's a number of weird people wandering around the station. We avoided using the station just for a precaution. Besides, there is no elevator/lift at the hotel. We have to carry our 30kg luggage up to the 5th floor on the spiral staircases. It was a nightmare. So I would recommend you to look for other hotel.
