Friendly staff, great location, lovely room. also enjoyed the art collection .
The decor and furniture
Special atmosphere, feeling of history, unique and cosy place for immersing in your dreams.
Bad maintenance No facilities Bad room service
The staff were lovely and the bed was comfortable. Our dinner at the 2 star Michelin restaurant Le Chantecler was an amazing experience.
There was renovation work going on during our stay and the corridors where work had been completed looked beautiful. Unfortunately our room had not been renovated and while the bedroom was comfortable and sumptuous, the bathroom was disappointing. The woodwork and toilet seat were chipped and it was not five star by today's standards.
Unusual fun decor. friendly staff. Loved the bar and the location.
Bathroom was a bit tired and no shower.
The location, the atmosphere, the staff
WE love the staff kindness, availability, the beauty of the place, the display of authentic art work, the service... and the unexpected touched of care and attention received. Un palace toujours digne de sa réputation séculaire.
I regretted the bar closed at midnight, found the Salle de Bal to empty in its grandiosity, some billiard or a tea room would be a nice addition.
Very helpful and friendly staff
Neither of the two lifts were hoovered throughout our stay. A detail but first impressions matter!
The artworks, the location, the friendly staff, the price (we booked 5 months ahead and got a nice room with a great view of the Bay)
Nothing that we didn't like although some of the wiring could be updated.
Exceptional Service, Art Gallery, very spacious. Quiet rooms. Great location. Fantastic Piano Bar. Worth the experience. Will come back for sure.
1. The unique collection of prints, tapestries paintings and ceramics. The need for triage did not spoil the experience 2. Perfectly situated
The Rotunda menu could be disappointing rescued by th charming attentive service..
Not much. Lacking in atmosphere, nothing special for your money, just paying a great deal for a famous name
Bathroom required much modernisation. Taps didn't work properly, lousy shower, plus leaked.
Everything you would hope for in a world-class hotel, Courteous staff, superb room, beautiful spacious public areas. The hotel bar is rightly famous and clearly used by the Nicois as well as tourists.
A bit slow preparing the bill.
Totally unique hotel experience
the restaurant service was no good.
For art seekers, very royal, it oozes history and culture.
The bathrooms need to be refreshed with new ones. A bit out of date for my liking.
Excellent service and unique experience with decor and art
The views over the beach and water were spectacular... got lucky with some magnificent sunsets. Very spacious room ( junior suite ). Great location on the Promenade.
Our room (5th floor junior suite) probably getting a bit tired, still enjoyable though. Not sure I'm a fan of the open plan bathroom. Wifi was a problem... had a lot of issues either not able to connect, or session drop.
Location is perfect! Old hotel with history. Very good breakfast, not cheap but its worth of it. At the evening time - live music in the bar.
No swimming pool, no sauna. Wi fi doesnt work some times.
Calm atmosphere, lovely works of art, beautiful furnishings.
Noise at night from aircon fans in shafts in maintenance areas.
Location, staff, design, interior design
The bed was small for a king size The sound of the drain could be heared in my room and from othe rooms. The wifi was very poor
