The staff are always courteous and helpful and the organisation is efficient

My dad and I stayed at the nemea hotel for 5 nights, and I would never ever recommend this hotel for anybody. Here's why : - The handy man came on a morning without any notice he didn't knock on the door or ring the bell, and tried to get into the appartment. When I told the receptionist he apologized ---> this is fair - I've been charged without any notice or bill 23 euros. Fortunately I regularely check my account on the web, this is how I knew about this charge, otherwise they would never have let me know about it. When I called the hotel, they told me that was one hour maid cleaning. On one hand I've been completely surprised on the other very upset : The night before leaving, I cleaned just as asked in the settlement hanging in the kitchen : microwave, cooker, dishes, worktop, fridge. Plus, the trash has been taking out and the dishes wiped and put back the cupboard---> this is how I left the appartment. After my complaint, the manager came back to me and maintained that according to the maids and the receptionist no household has been made. So if any of these facts are true : why they did not call me on the phone to make me find the facts---> they do have my phone number just as my bank ones !!! So not only they charge the consumer without any notice, but they also lie to justify their behavior ! This not about the money, as 23 euros is not a big deal, the deal is the way they act, they falsely accuse so they can steal from you ! So one last advice, if you have to stay there (and I wouldn't recommend it) never leave without an inventory !

Central location in Nancy. Ideal for the bars and restaurants around Stanislas Square, and the Opera house is right on the square as well.

Friends of ours travelled the day before us and were able to get our keys. Because we got caught up in a traffic jam in Lyon and arrived after eight-o-clock in the evening, there was no reception, and we would have had difficulty to get the keys. We had no means to contact the hotel to say we would be late.

It had underground parking which was not expensive

The bedroom was minute and the bed was very hard. The bathroom was the same size as the bedroom which was a waste of space.

Ideal for Nancy city centre. Good selection of bars & restaurants nearby. Nice appartment with plenty of room and equipment

Could do with 2 comfortable seats and not one comfortable and one plastic

Relaxed atmosphere, reasonable amount of space, facilities, especially parking

No basic cleaning materials, such as washing-up liquid and cloths, which we did not want to buy for a short stay

Protected parking in the building

All the rest was terrible, we had: - complicated wifi connection for apple laptop - dirty bathroom - smelly apartment - no atmosphere at all - not suitable for holiday, more used by working long term visitors - very noisy rooms, could hear the tv from neighbors all night. - opening the window (from smell) noise out of the street - pictures do not represent reality

Having the kitchen helped keep meal expensese down. Security very good especially for a woman staying there alone

For a woman staying there alone returning on foot to the hotel after dark is a bit scary as it is not the best neighbourhood location-wise (though not a bad neighbour by any means). Not as well lit as some parts of Nancy. There were partyers on the road 2 nights in a row so I think it may be an area where college youth live = inexpensive. That was a drag but ear plugs helped. I was in Nancy with my sister for the World Duathlon Championships but not at the same hotel

The small pool and gym was a nice for such a small/budget property

The hotel is opposite the local hospital, their Helipad was about 100m away and quite noisy. The room I had didn't have any air con. It was pretty warm and with the window open it was noisy overnight.

Just a ten minute walk to the centre, and within walking distance of most of the attractions we wanted.Rooms were adequate, comfortable, clean. Swimming pool makes it a bit special! Staff friendly and helpful, security very good. Suited our needs very well.

Our bathroom was a bit cramped by a large service duct - but others were ok. Had some difficulty because reception is staffed limited hours and we were late arriving but this was solved by a phone-call and suitable arrangements for access were made. Some noise at nights from outside - but probably inevitable in a city centre location and not excessive.

The staff at the front desk was helpful and charming. The information for the guests was located at the front desk and available in a number of languages. The person working the desk spoke English well. The big sell was the laundry facilities pool and kitchenette. It gave us plenty of space to stretch out and get caught up after several weeks in tight quarters in Paris. Jean and John

The negative is that if you need to visit city center attractions you are a bit of a long walk out and the busses into town are not reliable. There is an iffy neighborhood you have to walk through and I would not recommend it at night. This is a great location if you need something long term or a stay near the universities, hospitals, or cemetaries.

The hotel is opposite the general hospital A & E dept with ambulances and helicopters arriving all the time.

We travelled from Bonn on a hot day with two boys looking forward to a pool to find that it was not available. This was the reason for the choice of hotel. We were there three nights and it was not repaired. The hotel was also on a very busy road which made it impossible to sleep with the wiondows open but there was no air conditioning. We also requested a non smoking room to be put in a room that had previously been used by a smoker.

Location near all the major university faculties. Own parking garage.

Not a very exiting location if you are visiting Nancy. Loud rooms on the side facing hospital. Very warm in summer. Supposed to clean the room yourself as is an 'appart-hotel'. Reception only open until 20:00. Refrigerator makes loud noises.

Original room was dirty, staff immediately arranged another room. Good location, budget lodgings,

No air con. Small budget accom. Our fault for not researching the property better.

It was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had on our trip. It is grossly overpriced for what is offered.

Reasonable sized appartment with kitchen separate from the bedroom area. Good parking facilities (at cost.) Walking distance to the tourist attractions.

Kitchenette was useful especially as most hotels don't even have coffee/tea making facilities. Good size room and bathroom for a city hotel .

We misread the information and didn't realise that check in on a Saturday wasn't until 5 pm and not even any staff available to just leave bags until checkin (the staff work limited hours). Washing machine wasn't working properly so we ended up with wet clothes - no staff available to sort this out with.

Very clean room, rather big, close to the city center (5 min from restaurants/bars).

In the morning there was a minor problem with the hot water, which was solved rapidly by the hotel staff.

Location was convenient to downtown, the receptionist/staff was excellent, room was clean.

The room was small, and weirdly divided. (not well laid out) Furnishings were spartan, functional. Room was as overpriced for what we got. Weekend special should include breakfast.
