Price was very good. Location was so convenient for all ,having doorstep access to every mode of travel, which was not expensive. Hotel clean and staff informative and helpful. In all we enjoyed our trip and would return.
No hot drink available in hotel apart from breakfast, however either side drinks were available which we could take in with us.
Location near Gare du Nord with all the main metro and RER lines.
The surroundings at the end of the day are unpleasant. Very small room. Dirty room but bathroom ok. Very unconfortable bed and pillows. Small elevator but funcioning.
proximity to gare du nord
room size, quite small, no drawer space
Efficient, friendly staff Spotless room Decent price for location (right next to Gare du Nord)
No shower curtain/screen and shower head was hard to position
Convenience - opposite the Gare du Nord Very clean - e.g. nice bed linen
All a bit jaded - refurbishments have been done on the cheap, e.g. Noisy windows, Wetroom bathroom leaks onto bedroom floor, Headboard creaks and groans at every turn. No kettle, Expensive (optional) breakfast, Lumpy pillows
the very warm welcome from most charming staff. My room was ready even though I arrived much before 2pm. The room was very spacious with a great view. Everything was very clean. When I go to Paris, I'll stay nowhere else.
Would'nt recommend Paris, but if you do go, would highly recommend this hotel, staff was super friendly and helpful
Train station was a mad house. People just pushing and shoving. Didnt like people coming up to us begging for money as soon as we got out the door.
It was very convenient to the train RER station that goes to CDG airport. It was a good place for the convenience of a last night in Paris. It had a great view of the train station. And even though it is in a very busy area, the rooms were quiet. Great restaurant a few doors down called Terminus Nord.
The wifi was sketchy at best and could be improved.
Best location just opposite the main railway station Gure De Nord , All food places near by.
Good staff, comfortable room for the price. Location
Location is awesome. So convenient for train/plane travelers. Great restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Supermarket around the corner.
location, staff (friendly, courteous, helpful, always accommodating. see you next year :-)
stairs fronting the elevator. must always have presence of mind or you fall :-()
The staff are, amiable, very helpful and friendly. And speak multilingual.
The area is full of some gangs of gipsies.
Ben at the front desk made our stay fantastic so helpful
The staff, Ben and William were very helpful and the rest of the staff friendly and welcoming.
It is tired in decor and the TV didn't work but who goes to Paris to watch TV!
Very bad staff. Rooms are very small and without AC. It was pathetic. I booked big room with AC but old man gave small room under the stairs. I never recommend anyone.
All was excellent, hotel, location, near the train and excellent hospitality from the persons who work in the hotel. Ben the reception person, EXCELLENT!
Location to train station. Very easy to get to the sites with plenty of metro station and easy to get back to by taxi due to location to Gard du Norde.
Noisy people outside. If you're a light sleeper this can be an issue.
Great location, a little bit dated but would stay here again next time I'm in Paris
We tried one breakfast no refrigeration meats etc were warm not a good idea in summer. Not very good value for money.
8 of us stayed in this hotel for 3nights. Location of the hotel is extremely convenient, easily found after arriving at Gare du Nord from london. This was excellent as we had many luggages travelling as a group of 8. The receptionist was extremely cheerful and helpful upon receiving us. Even gave us a discount on the big bus tour! The best thing about the hotel was its location and staff! The room was just nice for 2, just that the hotel lifts open to a flight of stairs. I found it really dangerous as we had no idea that it was stairs directly outside the lift. Especially dangerous when we had large luggages we had to drag up one flight of stairs. Could have provided a boiler for water though. Otherwise, location of the hotel with the help of the big bus tour brought us easily too all the attractions. Overall a very pleasant stay there!
The location. Wifi
The lift is tiny and opens on to the curve of a spiral staircase (bit dangerous), you then have to carry your bags up the rest of the stairs to reach your floor. I didn't like that there was no shower tray or doors/curtain - just a wet room. The wardrobe was located very conveniently to the bedside (about 2 from the side of the bed). The room was tiny and there was no where to store our bags. We had to move everything to walk around the room. The pillows, one each, was as small as the room and flat. One of the was dirty and when we mentioned this at reception we were told they may not have a replacement as they cleaning staff were not around. You can hear toilets form other floors flushing and also the shower from the room next to us. The price was way too high for what we got.
Hotel was literally across the street from the train station Friendly Staff Rooms were comfortable
Elevator opens up to middle of stairs so almost broke ankle and suitcase rolled down a flight of stairs before stopping Breakfast was in dungeon and was hot and stuffy. Breakfast was decent but left as fast as possible
Location was excellent. Staff was friendly.
Need more pillows
- service from the employees (during welcome, help to visit the city, friendly during breakfast, even the cleaning people where in very good mood !!! ) - location
- the price is already high for one night. ( might be standard in Paris )
