Opposite main tram line.10 minutes walk to Riquier train station and 5 minutes walk to Monaco's bus route.Supermarket 5 minutes away with restaurants in abundance. Breakfast at the NH is good value considering you can have your own omelet or sausage's prepared as you like them. Staff were very friendly and helpful with places to visit and bus services etc.Tip for bus / tram tickets you can buy ticket of 10 for €10 instead of €1.5 each. Special thanks to Jans,Christoph and Nicolas.
Did not have any bad comments but perhaps allowing use of USB on hotel mode TV could allow guest to watch films from their laptop.Quite straight forward for TV engineer to modify and supply new remotes
friendly staff, close to tram, WIFI is working good
pretty noisy: can't sleep with windows open, lot's of noise coming in through the door
Big bed, nice bathroom separated from toilet, kettle available.
Water pressure is very bad for such a high price of the room as was the wifi. And also sink did not drain properly. No milk for tea bags which makes a difference for he English people!
My partner and I stayed in one of the junior suites. The suite was very impressive and emaculate. The roof top pool was beautiful and the views were breathtaking.
As with most big chain hotels all extras come at a costly expense. For the use of a travel adapter was €20 for 3 days, the receptionist also failed to mention that it would cost anything (I could have bought 1 for €10) The WIFI is incredibly slow and requires constant reconnection. Like everything you can pay to have a faster connection. The fitness suite is 1 running machine, 1 assisted weight cross trainer and 1 bike. No free weights or any other useful equipment. The restuarants menu didn't look very impressive. The hotel is located at the opposite end of town from everything of interest (20min walk not 10mins)
Nothing except lost 350 pounds scarf!
The housekeeper stole my expensive scarf and used my perfume when I absence! There is no CCTV in hotel. The manager was very rude and irresponsible. The manager asked customer to put all things in safe. It is very ridiculous! If you want to lose your personal articles, come to NH hotel!
Spacious room Good breakfast great location (5 min walk to Akropolis, 10 min walk to old town)
bed not very comfy
Right near tram station
Everything. We had to wait 2 hours after check in to go to our room and they only gave us a soft drink to make up for it. We booked a double room and got 2 singles made separately put together. Room service didn't understand when we asked for rib eye steak even though that's what it was called on the menu. There was a party one night on the rooftop and we could here the bass 3 floors below. It went for 10 hours aswell. Plus the shower head can't be hooked up so you have to hold it the whole time in the shower.
Nice hotel in a handy location for walking into the old town.
I was rather annoyed that I was not informed that every 3rd Sunday in the summer the hotel hosts a pool party on the roof. I specifically booked this hotel over others as it had a pool but for the one full day I was in Nice I was unable to use the pool all afternoon. The party was accompanied by extremely loud music which I could hear in my room. It would have been better if the hotel could have warned me of this on check in so that I could at least have planned my day around the party.
Queen size bed. Location, directly across from a tram stop only 3 stops into centre of nice. 10 min walk to nice riquer train station. Pool party on top of hotel on sunday.
Expensive. Pool side was dirty on monday morning. I would recommend this hotel but I think you could be better off staying in a cheaper place as you are not in the hotel often
Location. Cleanliness. Friendly and Helpful Staff.
Poor bed mattresses, lousy and free moving bed wheels. Costly meals and drinks.
Right opposite the tram stop. Great for heading to other areas of the city.
The music in the evening on the roof terrace was too loud in the evening. Not relaxing at all.
Very close walking distance to old town and beaches. Tram just outside hotel.
good location, good service, we just changed the room by Wendy.
Clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money in respect of room rate.
Pool area small and difficult to find a sun lounger unoccupied. Food and drinks expensive.
Nice, helpful and competent personnel at the reception desk. Very good English!
There are incredible lazy waitresses at the breakfast and quality of food was suboptimal. I spent there a week, so had a good chance to observe. Waitresses pretend not to see customers, as they are busy chatting. They cannot communicate in English, when asked, they look like they were offended. When having a breakfast outside had to fight for food with pigeons as the waitresses didn’t bother to clean tables outside.
Pool area . Size of room
Nice hotel, friendly reception.
I put "Do not disturb" sign, but the hotel stuff ignored it - she knocked on the door several times and woke me up. Free Wifi was really slow, even email worked unstable.
The location of this hotel is excellent - just opposite the tram stop - 4 stops to the old town and 5 stops to the new town Anthony on reception is an absolute star - seek him out he genuinely wants to help Didn't eat in hotel - loads of cares nearby Roof top pool is beautiful Bed is huge and very comfortable
WiFi is practically non - existent It's a great 3 star but an ordinary 4 star Toiletries were not always replaced each day BUT MAKING ME PAY 1 EURO TO PRINT OUT OUR BOARDING PASSES IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE -- IF THIS HOTEL WANTS TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS THEY MUST DECIDE IF THEYVREALLY WANT GUESTS
The Hotel was a bit off the beaten track and initially seemed more suited to business travellers. The location of the tram just outside the door was a huge plus and we were just five minutes away from the main beach and shopping areas. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and a special thanks to Anthony who was most courteous.
The hotel was very quiet in the evening and the roof top bar and pool lacked atmosphere.
I stayed in a double room for one person , which was stated on booking. The staff charged me for 2 people's city tax. I clarified with the staff. He admitted the mistake and did not spontaneously offered to refund to me.
Everything poor at this hotel and not recommended
Great location - tram stop directly across the road which run every 15 minutes from around 5am daily. Very quiet hotel despite being a city hotel - slept really well in a very comfortable oversized bed! Staff very helpful - checked on train times etc without any issue We got a taxi from Nice airport at a cost of €35. Thereafter we used the very efficient trams and trains. Caught the train to St Raphael for the 9:30 ferry to St Tropez. Went by train to Monaco and stopped on the way back at Villefranche sur mer which was a beautiful village and port. After a hectic day it was lovely to spend an hour in the rooftop pool at NH too! Overall - would I use this hotel again? YES!
Clean, good size rooms and bathroom, great patio on the roof, location is about a 15 min walk to the water but it was quiet and the tram was right outside the hotel (cheap and takes you directly to the water. Only 1 line so easy to use)
Pool was good,
breakfast terrible-avoid, expensive, local cafe's are much better in quality and cost.
Location close to conference center and not far from old-town. Room quite spacious.
Most uncomfortable chairs ever encountered in a hotel room.
