Elevator was not working
The staff The location The breakfast
Just returned from a three night stay at the Nicolo and we had a fantastic time I would defiantly use this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Paris the location is perfect and how it only had two stars is beyond me
The location of Nicolo was brilliant just a 10 min walk to the Eifel Tower, La Mouette metro station a 5 min walk away, and the area surrounding the hotel was nice with bars shops and places to eat very close! Staff were excellent, and the breakfast was superb! Can't fault the hotel at all! It is in the process of some decorating work but not at any point did this interfere with our stay! We both said we would stay there again!
Excellent location, staff, ambience and breakfast. Very clean with tasteful decorations.
Bathroom was a bit small, but all facilities you would need and very clean with fresh towels daily.
Location within walking distance of all the sites. Helpful staff. Great comfortable room Excellent breakfast
Passy metro under construction Ice not readily available
The Owner was very attentive The room was of a good size by Parisienne standards. The room was nice and clean.
Beside the owner the staff was so so. Elevator was broken most of the time.
Clean and comfy rooms. Great location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
Lift was broken.
Good localization. Very good room for two stars hotel. Quiet.
Curtains needed to be drawn almost all time as there are windows in the yard and other buildings windows are very close. No air-conditioning.
Hard mattress, tiny room, old safe required replacement. Will be a decent hotel for price AFTER renovation is complete.
I've stayed here on business several years back. This time was for pleasure. Environment and hospitality - home away from home attitude. Staff are lovely and happily converse in English. Breakfast is a true Paris experience in the intimate dining room; essential freshly brewed coffee and hot milk, delicious local baked breads, hard boiled eggs, cheeses, berries, citrus fruits, propper butter, preserves and traditional cereals. Relaxing garden court yard where I enjoyed a glass of wine bought from the local wine shop just around the corner. The hotel is a stone throw away from E. tower and the river's Batobus terminal. Loads of local shops and boutiques in nearby street, not to mention fabulous restaurants and bars. The hotel can be walked to from two different rail lines (5 mins) each one. From the airport, two trains to get there (approx. 45 mins).
This is not a problem for me, however if you can't walk up stairs, then this lovely boutique hotel is not for you. All rooms are up stairs several flights for some and the elevator (accessed on the first floor up from the lobby, in other words a flight of stairs) can only squeeze one person in at a time.
Location was good. Room was lovely bathroom great fresh towels every day.
The breakfast each morning was superb. Felt comfortable and very well looked after. Would stay again.
Only fault was metro line 6 being down but obviously no fault of hotel
Very helpful staff
Staff warm and helpful, fantastic outdoor area, great showers. Only 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. A lot of cafés on your doorstep. Accommodation much nicer than a lot of 3 stars in the area.
Loved the picturesque courtyard garden - lovely to sit in and have a drink or snack. Friendly staff. Best continental breakfast ever - delectable fruit and pastries. Would love to return.
One of of our party experienced some difficulty connecting to internet.
The room was lovely and the decor and location are great. The room was nice and clean.
The lift is a little like a coffin ;)
Deligjtful area. Quiet And peaceful garden. V good and varied breakfast.
Room a bit cramped
The hotel is in a posh area of Paris, close to shops and restaurants and most importantly, excellent access to metro and bus. The heavenly garden is very calming and welcoming, the staff were very helpful and accommodating and although the rooms were a bit small, they were nicely done. In short, i was extremely happy with the choice i made and would definitely go back and also recommend to my friends.
the fact that it was a little noisy inside the hotel in the mornings so it was not particularly easy to sleep late. Also, in my opinion, the price for the breakfast was high compared to other hotels and also eating out in the restaurants.
Breakfast was the best continental breakfast in Europe. Liked being on edge of Paris near local residential area. Really felt like a Parisian.
As with most Parisian Hotels, rooms were on the small side but plenty of leisure room to enjoy downstairs with other guests.
Hotel was quaint in a great location nice breakfast excellent staff
This was our second time there and the staff is always wonderful.
It seems like the hotel needs some updating (faded carpets, walls that need painting) and our room was quite small.
Hotel is ideal for visiting Paris. Staff are courteous and helpful. Superb breakfast. Rooms are clean and nicely sized. Great value for money
