Nothing at all
Terrible bed and pillows, but all else very good.
The smell coming from the toilet /shower room was revolting .. if that were fixed .. its a good location, and there is no lift , so not good for a lot of luggage ..but I was ok there … it shouldn't be more than 60 euros a night ...
The location and price were great for Gare du Nord. If you want a clean, easy place to stay near the station, this is great. It's clean, I had a good sized bathroom, comfy bed and a TV .. Simple needs and well looked after.. If you want high end luxury go elsewhere, but if you just need somewhere safe to rest and stay between meetings, it's just right
The entrance was a little dark, but once inside the warm welcome was great
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location is calm, despite its proximity to the railway stations.
The WIFI connection is not working most of the time. The building and facilities are in bad need of renovation.
Easy to find, good access to Metro and central Paris. Room was very quiet. Plenty of eating places within walking distance and an interesting covered market.
Our room had 3 beds and circulation space was limited. Don't stay here if you are looking for stylish decor.
The position really close to the "Gare du Nord"
Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location.
Basic but clean.
Great location - close to metro, gares, restaurants, supermarkets, but still quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room and all facilities.
Private room, very quiet apart from Monday night. Very helpful owner, happy to help with any small requests .
Noisy woman in a flat on other side of courtyard talking on telephone with speaker phone at 1am!!! Sink often blocked, slow to empty.
Staff was amazing!!
Noise from street & no insulation so didn't sleep much.....
The management and staff were sympa! They were very sympathetic and responsive to our requests. Nord Est is a an excellently part of Paris especially those looking for an affordable accommodation near this transport nexus of Gare du Nord, Paris. .
Nome of the rooms need a little bit of tlc. The nice rooms were outstanding, but the not so good ones were intolerable.
I LIKE PLACE NEAR SHOPS, UNDERGROUND ,ROOM ALSO GOOD
Location good. Surprisingly quiet at night. Clean and comfortable enough for the price. Facilities basic but adequate. Not somewhere you'd chose for your honeymoon, but for a place to sleep between trains it does the job. Go for the breakfast - a cup of coffee outside will cost you as much.
Toilet a bit smelly, but then you could say the same about 90% of the toilets in Paris. Bathroom rather cramped. Area is a bit dodgy, so be on your guard when out and about.
Proximity near to station. Close to key areas in paris
Intercom not working, No Lift, Electrical sockets are poor, No drinking water. No fan
Staff is nice. They keep changing towels.
The staff at the reception were kind enough to help me take print-outs of e-tickets which I might have otherwise had to pay for if taken outside at some internet parlour. We checked out on Sunday morning and we had a bus to catch late night. This meant we could still go sight-seeing until late evening. The hotel staff gave us the provision to leave our baggage in a safe area at the hotel. This made our sight-seeing on Sunday hassle-free in terms of managing the baggages.
The staff is very nice. The hotel is located not far from the train station. There is a grocery store on the same street.
It would be fine for students, solo or couple travelers. But not for a family over 3 people. The room was just too small for 4 twin beds.
Personel was really kind and helpful. But their overreacted warnings about being careful to other groups in the street made me a little worried. Very close to Gare du Nord so easy to transfer to CDG Airport..
The street and area was not so good and I was a little bit worried about security.
Great value for money, very comfortable bed, lovely staff. Quirky, with charm, comfortable and perfect location after arriving late after Eurostar delay. Would definitely stay here again.
Didn't dislike anything.
Great location, very comfy bed, very clean, quiet
I was asked to pay a bit more than I was supposed to
The room is clean and the bed is comfortable
The room under the stairs which connect the administration and guess was a bit dark.
This hotel was chosen for its location near to Gare du Nord. It probably has the right 2 star grading.
The stairwell was very dark - it seemed oppressive. There were no electrical sockets in the bedroom (for charging mobile phones etc). The shower room sometimes smelled damp (no ventilation). Occasional smell of cigarette smoke in bedroom (coming from courtyard area outside?)
The hotel is super close to Gare de Nord, about a 5 minute walk for anyone coming in or out on the Eurostar or any other trains connecting through that station. It looks a little run down, and at first I was a bit worried what I'd gotten myself in for, but the room was very clean and the bed really comfortable. The room was WELL bigger than I'd come to expect I'm Paris and though I was there by myself, two people could quite comfortably move around in there. The decor looks a bit dated, and the floor looks scuffed, but I was more than comfortable and very happy there at the end of a long day looking around Paris. The staff were lovely, very helpful, and very interested in their guests. When I arrived I had a heavy case to get up the stairs after a long walk and the guy at the desk didnt hesitate to offer to carry it upstairs for me. Much appreciated!! I really enjoyed staying here and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. Wifi is free, and the signal is strong and consistent... Much better than some more expensive places I stayed. Breakfast is basic but good. Not amazing, but worth it to have eaten before venturing out... And the 4 berries jam was AMAZING.
The walls are a little bit thin, but I had the stairs on one side and another room opposite, and the only thing that really came through was the sound of the other room unlocking and some voices if they were talkin loudly. It looks dated and a bit worn, but is kept very clean. You have to hand your key into reception each time you leave, which was odd for me a first, but you get used to it.
deposit the baggage convience
a little bit of smell in wash room
