Kyriad Gare du Nord

This is a good value chain of hotels, with many establishments across France. This one is superbly located with excellent transport links. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The warm welcome in our own language was appreciated. Staff are pleasant, courteous and helpful, very efficient in a friendly way. We especially appreciated being able to check in early (after an overnight flight from South Africa). Also enjoyed the state-of-the-art Bathroom.

Only positive things happen at this Hotel -- no negatives.

Excellent location .Very close to the Gare du Nord ( opposite the main entrance )so excellent for metro links to anywhere in Paris and for Eurostar. Clean comfortable rooms. Lots of hot water at any time of the day, and good value breakfast.

It was very near to the station (Gare de Nord) It was a traditional upstairs type of Paris hotel!

Loctation for Gare du Hord very good, literally across the street from the station. Unsavoury area though, ok for one night but no longer than that.

Very small shower cubicle - if you moved at all then you knocked the shower setting from hot to cold. Not sure when bathroom fan was last cleaned - very dirty.

Closely situated to Gare du Nord. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and very helpfull.

Poor air conditioning.

Perfect location, if you arrive in Paris late in the evening or early in the morning - just opposite Gare du Nord. No complaints to the personal, room and breakfast. Special thanks for the kettle with teabags and bisсuits in the room.

Its proximity to Gare du Nord and the efficiency of the shower, double glazing and air conditioning.The breakfast bar was well stocked and, for Paris, very reasonable.

The reception staff varied from knowledgeable and helpful to only slightly helpful.

It's convenient. The train, metro and bus is just in the corner.

Rooms were not soundproof. It was quite noisey.7

Close locality to Eurostar.

The staff were not helpful-they appeared disinterested and unwilling to help. They also refused to let us store our bags at the hotel and pick them up in the afternoon as I have been able to do easily in every other hotel I have every stayed in. This proven very annoying as the fact that the hotel was across the street from Gare de Nord train station was the main reason why I picked it. I then wasted an hour finding alternative storage for the day at the train station. It is an average hotel at best with poor staff who are unhelpful. If they are unwilling to allow storage of baggage, they are removing the only useful aspect to the hotel. I will never stay there again.

Staff were very helpful, room was ready prior to normal check-in time, tea and coffee facilities in room were very welcome and breakfast was better than many hotels

Laundry bags obstructing passageway

Convenient transit hotel -- friendly staff; clean and reasonably comfortable room (especially the bathroom - brand new and spotless), convenient location directly across from the station. Would stay there again if I were arriving late/departing early from Gare du Nord.

Minor point, but... my courtyard-facing room was well-insulated against street noise, but not at all insulated against internal noise... people coming and going, doors closing, etc.
