Good value for money .
Bar closed to early ,lift not working we were on the four floor ,tea was only complementary on the day of arrival.
Close to the train station and other public transportation; best hotel close to the university
The people at the reception are not always friendly
The location is fair but it's of no use, whose reason will be explained afterwards.
The stay at Comfort has made my trip to Le Havre VERY UPSET. First, the awful attitude towards its customer is one of the worst I've ever experienced. Having spent a lovely day in town, we returned to the hotel only to find we'd left in the room our password for the gate. Thus we asked the lady at the front desk for help. After about 4 minutes of begging with our room card and expressing our sorries, the lady finally came to open the gate very impatiently and kept yelling at us with some French we didn't understand at all. Second, it's mostly because of its location near SNCF that we'd chosen the hotel, since we had the plan to go to Etretat for a whole day and come back to leave Le Havre at night. However, when requesting our luggage to be stored, the frontdesk lady told us it was only to be stored until 15:00. I have to confess I never came through any situation in which you can't store your luggage most easily and freely at the hotel. But, as is said by the front desk lady, Comfort, Quality, Clarion all go with such luggage storation policy. Well, at least I know for sure what to avoid next time when I choose my place to stay, unless I would want to carry my luggage all the way I climb up and down the mountains for another time.
Location - Excellent! Comfort - Excellent! Value - Excellent! The no parking was not a problem, parked in the station car park a few yards away, underground and secure as locked between midnight and 6am and cost under 10 Euros. Will definitely use this chain again, very impressed
Is so sweeet so frindly so amazin I think she is the boss.. the location is amazing jus reach the train station cross the street and its oppsite to u .. good security .. nice view
The internet ...
Clean room and bathroom, coffee making facilities in the room, good value for money, across the square from Le Havre train station
Small room, not soundproof at all with a lot of noise from neighbours.
.Close proximity to Trams and Railway. .Price reasonable
Cleaners:- . propped lift door open requiring us to walk stairs to the 4th floor. .failed to deliver milk for coffee in room - 2 days .failed to renew toilet rolls - we ran out by final day (3rd day)
Very comfortable bed
Breakfast was not good value formoney
Staff tried to help, but their lack of English and my lack of French didn't coincide very well. Breakfast was nice, room was clean and comfortable for the most part.
Very noisy street. No Air Con, so room was too warm with the windows closed to block out street noise. Tram bell rang all night just outside. Very few choices for meals in reasonable walking distance to hotel. Area seems unsafe at night.
Close to train and tram. Arriving late at night by train in Le Havre it was very easy to locate, a big pl Sydney, Australiaus.
I was in a room for 2 people it was quite small even with only one person in the room.
Rooms compact but comfortable. Short walk or 2 tram stops to shops restauarants.
Rooms at front very noisy.
Very clean, convenient location, free WiFi, good sized TV
Noise from the street and no way to reduce temperature other than open window; random approach to renewing towels
The room is nice and clean with a large bathroom and comfortable beds. Just situated in front of old train station and not far from the new one.
The stuff in reception is good, but too slow; Far from the sea; Without a private car parking.
Good rooms at a good price, clean, good beds, wifi
The location is in front of the station and not in the very center of Le Havre
The street, the Cours de la Republique, needs to be cleaned up, of both garbage and beggars.
There were bed bugs. We discovered them just after 11:30pm, but the reception desk closed at 11:30 so we could not contact anybody about the problem. In the morning, we informed the front desk of the bed bugs and they denied that they had them. We were not given any compensation, only an insincere apology while exiting the door. Also, for a non-smoking hotel, the rooms smell of cigarettes.
Practical and convenient for a quick stayover before the ferry to UK. Right opposite main railway station.
Cramped, minimal and just adequate.
noise in of the street, no aircondition
Staff is friendly Breakfast is ok
Got stuck in elevator Missing towels Missing tv remote On main road next to tramstation very noisy and smell of diesel Restaurant 20 min away
Very clean good value
They said there was A/C and parking. There was not!
Noice from outside, no parking available, not realy clean and slightly outdated everywhere
I asked a quite room, and they did their best to give me one.
- Price - cleanliness of bed - provision of tea & coffee
- Female receptionist was rude & dismissive, lack of customer skills. - totally ignored me & my request. - room was a little on the small side.
Opposite the train station - so very handy if you are coming in for a short trip via rail
Late check-in (meant to be 3pm) and the reception wasn't open so couldn't even leave my bag in storage and had to cart luggage around the City. As it was warm, the room heated up a little, but if you left the windows open for the breeze, it was noisy outside.
