Very helpful and friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great location, good parking space, great city & around (very close to the amazing giverny)

Stayed for 2 nights to visit Giverny on our way to Dordogne. Was going to stay north of Paris on return but we liked the Hotel Normandy and the town of Vernon enough to stay on the way home. Hotel food was good though menu not extensive. Most rooms overlook square or avenue. The town is pretty enough on the banks of the Seine and has a good choice of restaurants.

The room we had on our second one night stay overlooked the rear narrow lane, but we did book quite late and did not request a room at the front.

The rooms are plain and lack any hint of the beauty they must once have had. Also, this was the coldest room we stayed in while in Europe (eight countries visited).

Hotel with own Restauraunt and the food was OK.

Traditional hotel with adjoining restaurant, warm with traditional Normandy food. Breakfast also good. Provided good centre for Giverny visit.

The Reception staff were particularly helpful and one spoke exceptionally good English and appreciated a 'good chat'.

The Hotel met all our requirements. Car park a little tight for a big car but we managed without a 'scrape'.

Very couteous staff clean. Safe parking. Good hot water and bathroom had a bath.

Bedside lights very dim for reading. Shower screan not very well sealed so wet floor! No English service on TV.

The location in the town is good, easy to get to Monet's gardens. The rooms are a little dated, very orange. The receptions and dining rooms are nice.

Location was good and fairly easy to find - we had driven in from the Normandy (west) country side. Staff were friendly and helpful. We used the hotel restaurant as most facilities out side the hotel were closed. Food was good and our server(s) were very pleasant.

Room needed some TLC - it was fairly clean but well warn. Plumbing needed to be coaxed to work - good thing my wife brought her handyman :) along.

Was told we had booked a triple room and there was no flexibility to change this.

Very friendly and informed staff at the reception. Very nice and efficient lady looking after the dining room for breakfast in the morning. Town and hotel very well situated for us as we came to visit les Jardins et la Maison de Claude Monet which were truly magnificent. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner in Vernon itself.

Good , well situated hotel in a lovely little town on the banks of the Seine! We will certainly come and stay again and recommend this hotel to friends.

Friendly welcome lots of great pillows and comfortable bed good breakfast stylish surroundings and near giverny
