I know it was renovated but it was not too good. No internet connection in room, no iron and iron board, room was old. See above. |

The staff knew that we were unhappy with the hotel, given the 4-star rating. They tried to accommodate as much as possible. The hotel is rated as a 4-Star, which is rediculous. In my opinion it deserves 1-2 stars at most. |

This is a hotel well placed for sightseeing, shopping, the opera and generally exploring Paris. Its fairly close proximity to various metro stations was also a boon. |

very well located in Paris, nice staff at the reception desk. But the hotel is old and rooms should be renovated, in particular bathrooms ! very bad state of bathrooms and no double glazing at the windows |

Especially I appreciated for the friendly and polite service of the stuff. I would have liked top have light music during the breakfest every day. |

Lovely French character room with a decent bathroom. Staff helpful. We stayed in winter and the air con was so hot and we weren't able to adjust it. The big king size bed was actually just 2 twin beds pushed together and with separate bedding and sheets....don't mind the beds together but would have been nice to have shared sheets and covers. |

Main Hall looks nice, and ....that's about it. Almost everything ! It's a trap : on the Internet there are pictures with nice and decent / new decorated rooms. In reality you get a room with 50 years old furniture and 50 years old bathroom fixtures. |

Central, very good breakfast, clean When we arrived, I missed a little more information when we checked in; when breakfast is served, where. If there is a bar at the hotel, if it is possible to eat something else than breakfast, did we need a map of Paris? |

I made a last minute booking and ended up in a very big room, so I don't know what their normal rooms look like. Overall, hotel is ok but not really 4-star. Excellent location! |

The location was good. Again, the pictures on the web site do not show you how dated and tired the building is. Paint hanging of the ceiling, mildew around the bath, paper toilet roll, corridors old and dated. |
