    -Great location, one block from the Louvre. -Staff worked hard to correct a problem. They also got us last minute tickets to the Moulin Rouge, when it was sold out on line. -Large rooms and bathrooms. -Breakfast buffet was large and hot and fresh.

    Location ,for louvre,Tuileries gardens etc Friendly and helpful staff.

    Checking out early!

    Regarding our stay at .......... we were horribly disappointed in the recommendation for this hotel. I have booked through your site for other hotels and have always been very satisfied with the service and the hotel. In this case I was disgusted. The hotel we saw online was a charming quaint historic representation of old paris. What we encountered was a run shack of an establishment. The first room we were given was in the upper floors of the hotel and it was hot and cover in mold. It had peeling paint and broken air conditioning. The bedding was dirty and the bathroom was very unpleasant to say the least. Upon complaining to the hotel staff we were upgraded to a room overlooking the courtyard at least thats what we were told. In fact it overlooked nothing but a rundown view of the interior of the hotel. It had a leaking fridge dirty walls, peeling paint, dirty walls, broken strong boxes, windows that wouldn't close and curtains that didn't open. It was as disgusting or worse than the first room. Again speaking with hotel staff they agreed that there hotel was rundown and the management were bankers in the business to make money not provide decent lodging. Is that what this site is recommending? Does no one check out these hotels? We were very disappointed and would have changed hotels immediately but couldn't find one available at the late hour we arrived. So we got up early and moved out the next morning wanting to burn the clothes we had slept in to find a suitable place to spend our vacation in paris. Sad we got charged 138 euros for the evening at the bates like motel. We hope that your site will provide some compensation for this horrible night and experience.

    Only location

    Rude arrogant staff. Ancient plumbing that did not drain. Rooms so hot you sweat lying on your bed but no cooling apart from a very old and noisy fan that is impossible to use. Lost booking and then blamed me with confirmation slip. No decent restaurants close by apart from an excellent patisserie for a breakfast croissant but certainly no lunch or dinner. I'd strongly advise book elsewhere.

    With the experience about the taxi booking, there is nothing that I can like

    We ordered a taxi to the train station the night before our departure and was assured it was OKay.. When the time came for check out, we found no order for the taxi was placed by the receptionist the night before. To make matter worse, no taxi was available for the next half hour as it was rush hour, and we nearly miss the train. This is very irresponsible as it could disrupt the traveller.s plan and iterinary.

    Room servis - doesn't work. After 1 hour waiting for order I went to external restaurant. Air conditioning - doesn't work Bathroom equipment - preety dated, Lack of remote control to TV

    The staff were very gruff, hardly smiled, and every request of mine seemed like a chore to them. I didn't feel valued, or welcome. Parisians in business and hospitality need to learn politeness and graciousness, with a smile. There was no room service.

    Very good location to Louvre Museum for 3 minutes. Many restaurants are around the hotel. the staff are very nice to help visitors.

    The only disadvantage is that the facilities are old, specially, wifi is slow.

    Fast check-in and check-out

    The room was absolutely rubbish. Not even close to resembling the pictures provided on booking.com or the hotel website. Paint falling off walls/skirtings, carpet in a terrible state, room generally unappealing. Also, no dinner service available in hotel. Extremely poor value for money at €259 per night - thoroughly disappointed. In addition - booking.com fee per night of €259 was roughly €100 more expensive per night than booking from the hotel website directly. Would not recommend the hotel, nor booking.com. My colleague who makes bookings already indicated that she is looking into using a different online booking service.

    Nothing except its location.

    Rooms were bad. Bedsprings were creaky. Lumpy pillows. Bad smelling towels. Floor was wooden and creaking on every step. U can hear people walking one floor above you, so much noise. Peeling paint and wallpaper, even the coating on washbasin was peeling. No airconditioning and no ventillation, couldnt sleep at night it was suffocating. For half of the paid money i was getting very good hotels which i found out when i reached there. They dont give breakfast, not even a water bottle in room. Overall very bad.

    The location of the hotel was perfect. It was central to many places

    The hotel needs a huge upgrade. The rooms looked like something from a horror movie, and smelt like dust. The furniture was so outdated it was a joke. For the money per night, it definitely wasn't worth it

    Most of the staff been very helpful. Excellent location.

    Facilities been very old. Airport shuttle bus suggested by the hotel was very poor service, very small mini bus squeezed with 8 pessangers, the driver even asked for extra 2€ for the luggage!

    Location

    Decrepit old carpet, no hair dryer, fridge was very warm, no air-con. staff not helpful when toilet broke down, gave a poorer room when asked(no fridge, mirror). 3rd room downstairs carpet was stained, no view. $220/nite wasn't worth it. staff didn't offer a hair dryer, nor concerned about the broken toilet, didn't care when we were moving, didn't offer to help, didn't know we had our tour tickets mailed, very incompetent, didn't care about the inconvenience of the broken toilet just because it was a Sunday. We would not have gotten a 3rd room had we not asked to be moved. Definitely not worth the $220/night. I should have stayed in an American owned hotel!

    Nice classic building and lobby, although slightly shabby, friendly enough staff, good location for the Louvre and around, near Line 1 metro and some good cafes etc.

    The bathroom although clean was a bit of a state, all the enamel was cracked giving the appearance of uncleanliness and there was no plug in the bath so we couldn't use it (they'd put a rubber sink plug in but it didn't work at all). Had to pay on arrival. Disturbed at 8:30am to ask if we wanted our room cleaned. Not enough cutlery and glasses at breakfast. Overall we still enjoyed our stay though, didn't need or expect luxury.

    Location is great! The bed is king size an comfortable, the room is spacious. They change the sheets and towels every day. The staff is cooperative and polite. The reception is 24 hours and it takes around 50 min. from Charles De Gall airport to the hotel by train and underground. They offer a shuttle from the hotel to the airport for 18 euro/person.

    The walls are thin and one can hear the neighbors clearly. The shower doesn't have a stand on the wall and I had to hold it all the time with one hand, the bath doesn't have a bath curtain so everything was wet after taking a shower. The hotel has a pleasant lobby and reception but the corridors need refresh.

    Breakfast good value. Great location to a number of sites & the Seine also cafés & supermarkets. Very close to public transport.

    The water pressure to the bathroom was poor.

    Very good location!

    I know Paris is, and will be, expensive, but with no big effort some refurbishment of this hotel could be done, so it wasn't so much "voyage in time" ;)

    Very well situated and very comfortable. Quite spacious.

    Many things didn't work: phone, heated towel rail, spa bath. Also some of our friends complained that there rooms were very cramped.

    Great location in a bustling district four minutes from le Louvre. Loads of places to eat and close to the Metro. The décor is a bit dated, but the staff brilliant!
