Everything. The location makes an excellent base for seeing the surrounding countryside. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly. The buffet breakfast is well worth the 14 euro (if you like a big breakfast)

The main reception and pool area have been modernised to a good standard. However, the reception was always closed with no one around to assist you, the pool is not heated and is freezing and the rooms are not to the standard you would expect for the money you pay. Very over priced hotel and they have the cheek to charge extra for breakfast.

Great place to stay in Castellane, nice hotel

It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, which I was not expecting when I originally booked it. I was extremely happy with the hotel.

The location and the fact it had a secure car park. The swimming pool area was extremly stylish but the water was far too cold to swim in (early september). The reception area was nicely laid with comfy sofas. Rooms were pleasent in typical French rural style.

The rooms desperately needed air conditioning so were very hot at night time. This was early September so I would imagine would be extremly unplesent in July/August. We had requested a quiet room but it was very noisey early in the morning (around 06.00) with the staff banging doors setting up breakfast. Either our request was ignored or I would have really hated to have a normal room! Swimming pool too cold to swim in.

Recently refurbished with a modern contempary feel. Comfortable & clean with a good buffet breakfast as an extra

Renewed to meet accommodation standards. Castellane is a small village and this hotel is probably the best in town.

If you don't book the restaurant in time already in the morning you won't get any availability later. Few tables and kitchen closes at 9 pm!

Nothing!!! Butbook for dinner........ You could miss out

have stayed there once before and would certainly go back. It is ideally situated in the town of Castellane for exploring the area. The rooms are very clean with modern bathrooms. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of food on offer and everything very fresh. This hotel was excellent value.

The hotel is a lot better than it looked from the photos on its website. I think it is part way through a refurbishment. The entrance area/lounge and outdoor swimming pool area are excellent. It needs to quickly lose the red carpet on the stairs! We had a room at the rear with a great view of the church. This also overlooks the camping area from which you could hear music throughout the night (could have been a one off). The hotel location is excellent with it's own secure car park. We will be back.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good. We had to stay 3 nights instead of one, due to food poisoning resulting from a meal taken elsewhere before our arrival in Castellane, and the staff were very accommodating in extending our stay, providing extra bed linen and towels and contacting a doctor. An excellent hotel and location and we would definitely stay again for longer if in the same area in future.

They have just had a brand new pool and it looks great. Unfortunatly it had only been filled a couple of days befor we arrived, so it was still too cold to use. Our room was great and had fairly recently been refurbished. We stayed on a Sunday night and thier restaurant was closed, but we had a good meal at a restaurant in the town. We really liked it.

Very friendly and welcoming proprietors, nothing was too much trouble. They have plenty of parking which was important to us as we were on a driving holiday, plus facilities to park open cars in a garage and clean them. Just a 500 yd walk to the town with plenty of good restaurants. We would stay there again as the position is perfect and there are not many hotels in Barcelonette which meet our requirements.

The hotel is located at the center of the town. Check in was fast and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a free and convenient parking.

There were no signs directing to the hotel. Since it's a small town it was not a problem to find the hotel.

Charming hotel that is being updated without taking away from its old world feel. Amazing view of Notre Dame du Roc chapel from the window . Spacious clean rooms and great breakfast. Have been here before and would definitely go back again!

We had a great stay and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The location is excellent to explore the area around Catellane.

I love mainly the freindly staff .

Dommage qu'il n'y a pas de service de dinner puisque le petit déjeuner servi est d'une qualité extraordinaire!
