Bed quite good for 3 star hotel. Modern bathroom. Staff helpful and professional. Close to three Metro stations.
Persistent odor of stale water from drains in bathroom. Complained to staff but they were unable to move me or fix the problem. Room rather small. Looks like they need to change the carpets soon.
Unfrendly black woman in reception. Not nice
Nice location, very close to metro station and shops, nice people, clean
Really good restaurants in the same block. Walking distance to the Eiffel tower. Corner market if you need one. The desk clerks spoke English. Community where the locals live.
Rooms were small.
Very good location, 20min walk to the Eiffel Tower, 25min walk to the Louvre, metro 50m away.
Tiny rooms (this was still ok as I was on my own), extremely thin walls - you could hear every single word people next door were saying.
1. Location. 2. Air conditioned room 3. English speaking staff.
1. Poor courtyard facing room view you actually look down at the garbage collection centre of the hotel
1) Location is good as it is closer to the metro. 2) Staff very helpful 3) Breakfast just right to start the day off with 4) Close to a lot of restaurants, supermarkets, bars, etc...
1) Wi-fi was on and off most of the time
Good area, close to subway and Eiffel Tower. Great cafe's and Boulangerie accross street.
Doors are springloaded so slam alot.
The otel is so close to metro station and downtown. You can find many cafe vicinity of hotel.
Sorry but i don't like this otel. The air conditioning is poorly. Wc ventilation so bad always bed smell is in room.
Clean, comfortable, nice friendly and helpful staff, typical French breakfast. Rooms are compact but provide everything necessary, comfy beds and en-suite. Lift to all floors for aching legs at the end of the day.
As u enter the hotel it is disappointing ..it makes u feel as if ur in a very shady place.. It is unsafe to keep any of ur belongings including ur clothes...they try to save electricity so much that u have to to beg at least 100 times to put the air con on..nd it is controlled from a small desk so called reception...the so called nouvelle has restriction even on using water for shower and brushing ur teeth.. If u take a proper shower even once they come and stop the water in middle of the shower...the bathroom stinks of rotten smell of drainage... Towels r stinking...the beds move in all directions as u move on the bed... The rooms r veryy small that u can't carry ur bags but u can carry ur clothes in a paper bag as it is very congested... There r no charging points to charge ur phone... No space to even stand in the room... There is no room service nd housekeeping.. U cannot even expect a coffee and a bottle of water after a tiring day... Wifi doesn't work .. V need to plead the reception to on the wifi as well as it keeps on fluctuating.. After all these negatives the owner with the entire family walks in at any time of the day just to check the room and they have no manners to speak to their guest.... I would not ceveb call it a hostel.. The lifts r soo small that one person nd one handbag only fits in.. Only the tiny desk guy was good and co operative... Over all hotel experience was bad but city experience was good:)
Good tube stop near by, can walk to Eiffel Tower, very friendly staff. Nice bathroom
Rooms not huge
Location (metro), cleaned and reasonable size of room (considering it is Paris where rooms are always small). Nice bathroom. Breakfast is Ok. Cleaning staff very friendly and helpful.
Some of the staff at reception seemed to need some training in service to client and tourism, although all nice people.
Location wasn't as good as I had thought from the reviews. Although close to Eiffel Tower it is very far to walk to other main attractions in Paris. Close to metro though so is ok to travel by metro.
-only one power socket in the room -bathroom and lift too small
Cooperative staff, cleanliness and location. The internet and television services were very good. NB:Sorry, I left with the hotel key to room 24 which I had to leave at the CDG airport. I am very sorry for that.
Size of the rooms including the bathrooms.
Location Comfy Staff Ease of booking, check in/check out Clean
The lingering smell of tobacco in the room
Tv and Wifi to keep child entertained. Bathroom was modern clean and fresh with use of hairdryer and fresh white towels.Easy 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. There is a very handy Monoprix supermarket 2 mins from the hotel and plenty of cafes within easy access.Room can be cleaned on a daily basis its your choice. We did not get up for breakfast but you could pay for that option if you wanted to.When you vacate your room at 11.00am you may leave your luggage in the designated reception area and collect later. From the hotel to the Paris station Le Gard Du Nord takes around 20 minutes.
The room was just too small. When you opened the bathroom door it did not open all the way because of the bed. There was only one plug socket and you could hear your neighbours.
Close to Metro Pleasant staff Nice bathroom
Bedroom a little small
Bathroom Wi-fi in rooms Quiet location
Location was great
Pics of room were deceiving ...
Quiet. Near to the Porte de Versaille Expo park. Friendly staff.
Excellent location. Metro station within a stone's throw. Lots of nice restaurants and shops in the area. I would recommend the Brasserie just around the corner called "Roi du Cafe". Very nice food and good atmosphere. I felt safe walking back to the hotel in the evenings. The staff at the hotel were all very nice and always happy to help or give advice. The room was very quiet. Some comments mention issues with the quality of the wifi. It worked perfectly fine for me. I even used it to skype home.
The room was tiny. For just one person that was fine. But I wonder how a couple would have managed in the room I got. Not sure that would qualify as a three star hotel in other countries/cities. But I guess you don't spend much time in your room when you are in Paris! The bathroom was modern and clean but there was a lack of attention to details. E.g. the light just above the mirror didn't work or there was nowhere to hang the shower head. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel so I can't comment on that. Lots of options for breakfast in the area.
