the beds were comfortable The bathroom was clean The location was excellent
The rooms were very small & basic but I suppose you get what you pay for We would have loved to have had a kettle and cups to make a drink in the evening We would have supplied out own tea & coffee
As a tourist I liked it was close to the metro, there's a cafe right on the corner for a good coffee and crossaint and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. However I probably won't stay there again.
I didn't like the room it was small and outdated, bathroom renovated though (served purpose). No coffee or kettle in the room for a morning coffee.
clean room clean bathroom great staff great location for tourism, porte de versailles conferences great local restaurants.
very small room only one plug in the room
- friendly staff - quite good location - free WIFI
- just one socket (besides the socket near to the door which i.g. can't be used) which is for TV. One has to unplug the TV in order to plug in notebook or phone - no central switch for the light. In worst case one has to turn off the light at three different locations leaving the room. - badly sound-proofed. One can hear the elevator and even the TVs in the neighboring rooms. - no keycards
Staff was very rude and disrepectful!
Well located, nice staff, quiet (even on street side), clean, free wifi.
Room too small. No plug for phone/computer. I had to unplug the TV.
Location, close to a few subway stations, ATMs and groceries stores.
For extra money, you can get a better room somewhere else. The place looks extremely cheap. Terrible smell in the hallways.
Good location, friendly personnel, room clean and tidy.
Very small for accommodation with a baby. If there is baby bed, thats no space for movement.
The location is good, twenty minutes walk from The Tower; good restaurants nearby, of which one we enjoyed best is just two doors down- a Lebanese place. Bathroom is also very clean and cozy.
The room is so tiny, me and my girlfriend had to take turns to move about the room. In addition, the free wifi disconnects every few minutes and makes internet use tedious.
Bed quite good for 3 star hotel. Modern bathroom. Staff helpful and professional. Close to three Metro stations.
Persistent odor of stale water from drains in bathroom. Complained to staff but they were unable to move me or fix the problem. Room rather small. Looks like they need to change the carpets soon.
Unfrendly black woman in reception. Not nice
Nice location, very close to metro station and shops, nice people, clean
Really good restaurants in the same block. Walking distance to the Eiffel tower. Corner market if you need one. The desk clerks spoke English. Community where the locals live.
Rooms were small.
Very good location, 20min walk to the Eiffel Tower, 25min walk to the Louvre, metro 50m away.
Tiny rooms (this was still ok as I was on my own), extremely thin walls - you could hear every single word people next door were saying.
1. Location. 2. Air conditioned room 3. English speaking staff.
1. Poor courtyard facing room view you actually look down at the garbage collection centre of the hotel
1) Location is good as it is closer to the metro. 2) Staff very helpful 3) Breakfast just right to start the day off with 4) Close to a lot of restaurants, supermarkets, bars, etc...
1) Wi-fi was on and off most of the time
Good area, close to subway and Eiffel Tower. Great cafe's and Boulangerie accross street.
Doors are springloaded so slam alot.
The otel is so close to metro station and downtown. You can find many cafe vicinity of hotel.
Sorry but i don't like this otel. The air conditioning is poorly. Wc ventilation so bad always bed smell is in room.
Clean, comfortable, nice friendly and helpful staff, typical French breakfast. Rooms are compact but provide everything necessary, comfy beds and en-suite. Lift to all floors for aching legs at the end of the day.
As u enter the hotel it is disappointing ..it makes u feel as if ur in a very shady place.. It is unsafe to keep any of ur belongings including ur clothes...they try to save electricity so much that u have to to beg at least 100 times to put the air con on..nd it is controlled from a small desk so called reception...the so called nouvelle has restriction even on using water for shower and brushing ur teeth.. If u take a proper shower even once they come and stop the water in middle of the shower...the bathroom stinks of rotten smell of drainage... Towels r stinking...the beds move in all directions as u move on the bed... The rooms r veryy small that u can't carry ur bags but u can carry ur clothes in a paper bag as it is very congested... There r no charging points to charge ur phone... No space to even stand in the room... There is no room service nd housekeeping.. U cannot even expect a coffee and a bottle of water after a tiring day... Wifi doesn't work .. V need to plead the reception to on the wifi as well as it keeps on fluctuating.. After all these negatives the owner with the entire family walks in at any time of the day just to check the room and they have no manners to speak to their guest.... I would not ceveb call it a hostel.. The lifts r soo small that one person nd one handbag only fits in.. Only the tiny desk guy was good and co operative... Over all hotel experience was bad but city experience was good:)
Good tube stop near by, can walk to Eiffel Tower, very friendly staff. Nice bathroom
Rooms not huge
Location (metro), cleaned and reasonable size of room (considering it is Paris where rooms are always small). Nice bathroom. Breakfast is Ok. Cleaning staff very friendly and helpful.
Some of the staff at reception seemed to need some training in service to client and tourism, although all nice people.
Location wasn't as good as I had thought from the reviews. Although close to Eiffel Tower it is very far to walk to other main attractions in Paris. Close to metro though so is ok to travel by metro.
