I think, without eiffel tower,Paris does not have anything.

During our stay the hotel suffers from having warm water for showering. The area around the hotel was very crowded. Interestingly the hotel did not have safety box.

Avoid rez-de-chaussee (first floor) rooms: you won't be able to keep your windows open... :-(

It was the only available at the price of 100 euro

The worst hotel I ever visit. The lighting circuit failed during the night and I took my shower with the light of my cellphone!!!

The front desk clerked scammed me out of 325 euros. The room was crawling with ants. The tiles fell off the shower stall to expose gapping holes behind. The walls are paper thin. There was a fight outside my room in the middle of the night. No hot water in the sink. It is the only hotel in my life I have left after one night as it was dirty and did not feel safe at all.

The location was quite good - very near to Metro Chateau Rouge, as well as walking distance to Sacre Coeur. The place was clean. The staff was very accommodating. You might get an impression that the locality is not safe, but nothing untoward happened even though I was a solo female traveler. Its in a very vibrant place - I was there during the football match between France & Swiss, which France won! The celebrations went on till quite some time at night.

It not a quite place. I wanted to work for a couple of hours in the evening but that became impossible with the amount of noise coming from outside. If you close the window, the noise subsides but so does fresh air :( The mattresses are either really old or very cheap quality. After the first night, mine actually had a bum-sized crater and I am not that heavy :( It is not at all good for people with back problems - or who have walked for quite a while and want to rest in a comfy bed.

    Housekeeping staff were pleasant.

No hot water 2 mornings for a shower. They disputed this and second visit to room to check the manager had obviously told someone to turn water on as after few seconds running it was really hot.I had previously run it for 7/8mins and receptionist had run it for 5min with no luck - only tepid.

Close (10min walking) to a metro station.

I got there late. My flight got cancelled. Got there in the next day. They gave my room to someone else. I PAYED FOR THE DAY I WAS NOT THERE ! The lady gave me a hard time because I did not call to tell them I would be late. I did call but they never picked up. I also sent emails and left messages through They never replied. She did not let me in the room until 2pm. But I payed for the room since the day before. She should have given me MY room right away. Rude! Very rude staff! And I had to put up with her attitude after a terrible trip. The room was VERY small. Could not close the bathroom door and sit on the toilet at the same time. The door would hit my knees. At first the room looked clean, but the insects flying around gave me a terrible impression. The room had 4 or 5 flys (and other insects) flying around when I got in it. The location is terrible. VERY Noisy neighbourhood! Very expensive for the horrible treatment and location! People tried to sell me drugs and a stolen iphone in the hotel's street corner! Would not go back there if my life depended on it. Thats it!

the location of the hotel is quite good because you can get the area of Montmatre shortly.

The facilities are insufficient althought you pay to stay so much. take care about the place of the Metro called Chateou Rouge.

The room was not in a good condition. There were water leak stains everywhere on the ceiling and walls. The bathroom was so small, it was impossible to sit on the toilet without leaving the door open (p.s. we were not very tall people). Last but not least, the location was in a very noisy and unsafe area.

    did not get stabbed...

The area is horrible and dangerous with beggars and gang at every street corner starring at you and trying to sell you stuff. Staff does NOT speak english apart from a few words in the reception. Breakfast is NOT worth €7! Only whatever is left that the staff did not eat themselves, you are lucky if you get a glass of juice, a croissant, a piece of dry ciabatta bread and a 'pain au chocolat'. The breakfast room is in a damp overheated basement. The room was tiny, with mould on the walls, toilet was too small to sit on with the door closed unless you can cram your knees in the corner. The shower leaked into our room and made the carpet soaked which destroyed our stuff. The shower is either too hot or too cold. We also found a mouldy towel in the room when we arrived. The "Free Wi-Fi" is dial-up speed and logs you out every four hours or whenever your phone is on standby. If you want a decent Wi-Fi connection you have to sign up and pay €4 pr day. The walls are very thin and you can hear all your neighbours talk or using the toilet. The Bed is extremely uncomfortable with a thin foam mattress which we had to turn and flip around, but still couldn't get comfy. Also there are no duvets! Only a mank blanket which has probably never been washed. The pillow is a useless long thin pillow only covered with the bed linen. We were happy to leave this place and will never ever use it again nor recommend it to anyone.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location. It was close to the subway station Chateau Rouge, close to Gare du Nord and to the nice part of Montmartre.

We didn't like anything about the hotel itself. The room had a disgusting smell, it was so shabby that I didn't even want to go back there to sleep. There were no proper pillows and pillow cases, instead they were replaced by long cushions covered by the bed linen. The blankets were terribly old and nothing seemed clean to me. We didn't have problems in the area as far as security is concerned even at night ( we were two of us), but there were anyway lots of strange people, beggars and homeless. The street of the hotel and some others around were extremely dirty. I think that for the price we payed, if you book a bit in advance, there could be found much better places to stay in Paris!

A good location, close to the metro line and numerous restaurants and shops.

Very limited parking. Decoration of rooms is very poor quality: Door handles holding on by one screw, filler around shower rough and unfinished; no plug in sink, shower temperature was either scolding hot or freezing cold - no temperature control. Pillows are the tubular French type - very uncomfortable. Our mother's room, although a double, was so small that you had to step over the toilet to get into the shower; could not close the toilet door when using toilet.

*It is easy to get to the center from hotel and also it is walking distance to Montmartre. *Room was clean and daily tidied up. *No surprises - description on the site fits reality.

*Area (nearby streets) might seem little bit dangerous (I saw local guy being robbed on the street on Sunday morning). * Rooms are very very small
