Poor wi-fi Room is shady, you don't feel like staying there. Heater was not working shower was tricky, hot/cold water on its own mood :(
location is pretty close to the old centre and a modern one; good hotel at a fair price
the distric looks creepy and dangerous and lack of a proper breakfasts (only croissins and coffee)
staff is co operative and cordial. food was also good and prompt in their timimgs.
Close to metro, value for money, clean rooms. Free Wi-Fi is poor (almost impossible to use youtube or video calls), you need to pay for a better one.
Not good and secure neighborhood, looks like you are in some ghetto. A lot of people that looks suspicious. I would not recommend especially for families with young children.
Everything was to our satisfaction, the room was cleaned every day which was quite surprising as we didn't expact that from a 2stars hotel.
The location is very good. Few steps from two metro station, a nice walk to the Louvre, to the Beaubourg or to Notre Dame..
The room, to cold and small, but particularly with a bathroom really excessively small (less spacious than that of a small sailing boat of the 1970, that is already really cramped).
Just de location
Staff nice, clean place, good value of money
no lights around and walls are very thin
The hotel location was good.close to shops and the chateau rouge train station is just about 5 mins walk from the hotel.
The hotel reception staff are horrible.Room was not ready at as the time of check in.kept complaining about booking.com.i couldn't understand why.kept me in the reception for about 45 mins.reception staff and room service staff have a very poor command of the English language.
friendly staff, nice location
Cheaper hotel and metro station very close. Room cleaness. Towels changed every day.
The streets near hotel are dirty and full of junkies and homeless people. If you have scare don't go there.
Poor staff vey rude and not very welcoming. Water pressure was poor and you couldn't shut bathroom door because it was right next to the bed.
The location is located in centralized area of Paris and metro is only about 5 minutes walking. From this point you can easily travel to other area of Paris. The rooms are ok, small but clean.
Hotel staff are not very friendly and not helpful. We think, because they can not speak english. The hotel does not have a garage for your car and no parking places around the hotel. Also very noisy around the hotel at night. of
Located very close to Metro station and the Nord and Est railway stations. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff appeared friendly although I mainly conversed in French so I don't know how good their English was.
Rooms are dated but not a major problem. Shower head had a strange holder which directed the water across the shower rather than down.
The staff was helpful enough to let us choose our room between 3 different rooms... The check out is at 12 noon...
The rooms are very basic and our room smelt of dampness, the shower cubicle was small and fitted with an inadequate curtain. The courtyard at the back looked quiet but turned out to be quite noisy.... All in all, 99 euros including breakfast for 2 is way too much for what it is and where it is... I would not stay there again...
Proximity to railway station
Spiral staircase was a nightmare to get bags up. Bathroom facilities were very poor.
Hotel staff. Halal take away food nearby.
We travel with our 10 yr old kid. We dont feel safe in the area. Unfriendly neighbourhood. Hotel facilities are poor. If you could spare yourself another 50euro, find another hotel. Will never come back.
It is nice for the people, who come for excursions and not to relax: 1.In 3 km there is Louvre(centre) 2.The hotel is surrounded by many shops and cafes. 3.The metro is about 100 m. 4.The railway -station is about 500m.(Gare du Nord)
Outside the hotel is very dirty. At 07.00 in the morning, the stuff started to make repair with great rumor. Natalia/Stefano
Location: 150 metres from Chateau Rouge Metro (Line 4). Handy for Gare du Nord and Montmarte. Price: a bargin.
Pillows: typical French bolster! Fittings: a number of things were loose and in need of repair. Damp in one corner (Not a big deal) No kneeroom when sitting on the WC. The shower room was just too small.
Noisy , dirty, bad smell
Rather fair value for money. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Montmarter and other historical places there. Close to Metro and tour buses. Also, amenities in the room, 24 hour desk clerk. Continental breakfast.
Location was not exciting, but convenient, and overall acceptable.
Water drops from the light of washroom . Mushrooms in the quilt . Concierge was rude
Good location, but dangerous streets around Good internet access, but a bit slow Fair breakfast Good staff
Small bathroom with a toilet where you can not sit down normally Very soft bed
near lots of good stuff.
