Proximity to railway station
Spiral staircase was a nightmare to get bags up. Bathroom facilities were very poor.
It is nice for the people, who come for excursions and not to relax: 1.In 3 km there is Louvre(centre) 2.The hotel is surrounded by many shops and cafes. 3.The metro is about 100 m. 4.The railway -station is about 500m.(Gare du Nord)
Outside the hotel is very dirty. At 07.00 in the morning, the stuff started to make repair with great rumor. Natalia/Stefano
Location: 150 metres from Chateau Rouge Metro (Line 4). Handy for Gare du Nord and Montmarte. Price: a bargin.
Pillows: typical French bolster! Fittings: a number of things were loose and in need of repair. Damp in one corner (Not a big deal) No kneeroom when sitting on the WC. The shower room was just too small.
Noisy , dirty, bad smell
Rather fair value for money. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Montmarter and other historical places there. Close to Metro and tour buses. Also, amenities in the room, 24 hour desk clerk. Continental breakfast.
Location was not exciting, but convenient, and overall acceptable.
Water drops from the light of washroom . Mushrooms in the quilt . Concierge was rude
Good location, but dangerous streets around Good internet access, but a bit slow Fair breakfast Good staff
Small bathroom with a toilet where you can not sit down normally Very soft bed
near lots of good stuff.
The owner was not outgoing, i found him sleeping on the sofa in the hall without shoes.. :(
Room is clean, and bathroom is pretty spacious
Rooms are extremely wet. When you open the door, smell of moisture is so strong that you must leave the door open for a while, and then enter the room. Dry shirts on hanger are getting wet in morning
Proximity to Monte Marte, Sacre Coeur and the Metro station (Chateaux Rouge). The surrounding area quite dirty and a little 'shifty' in the evening.
The smell of the elevator, pillows without pillow slips (bottom sheet was folded back over the pillow?) filthy carpet in room and hallway. It need of an immediate makeover.
Wifi and staff and near metro only
The room very very small you can't move ,bad smell the bed uncomfortable ,the toilet very tiny fat people can't go in ,no air condition ,the left has bad smell
The towels were changed every day. The beds were tidied and the dustbins were emptied every day. There were gratis soap and liquid shampoo for two persons. The hotel is close to Sacre Coeur, and to the metro. There is an excellent fast food restaurant in the nearby.
The lift didn't come or stopped where we didn't want. There was no warm water on the first day. The street was noisy late at night and early in the morning. The bathroom was rather small (no place to use the towel after showering). There was no separate blanket for two persons.
Cheap. You get what you pay for. Good location close to Sacre Coeur.
My friend had a strange welcome when she arrived late at night alone from a club. She did not feel safe.
The room is quiet. Free wifi. Near to metro.
Hotel is located in a less appealing place. The bathroom is very small, and with only shower curtain, the bathroom floor got all wet after shower. The hotel closes at 00:00 (midnight). You need to ring the door if you get back later that that.
Young girl on reception is the only bright side of the hotel staff. Everybody else just dont care. Near metro. Clean towels everyday.
Poor breakfest, poor service. Thin walls, noise, awkward smell in the room. Neighborhood looks very unfriendly and a bit dangerous, although did not had any bad situations, but definitly suggest avoiding it after 9pm. Wi fi totaly unreliable etc...
Quite close to metro Chateau Rouge. Interesting location with a mix of people. Towels changed daily and were of good quality. Having a lift was a bonus as we were on the 5th floor and it's not always so for Paris.
The sheets were clean but quite worn/old. The wifi had to be reconnected every time you were offline. Our room was quite small but it did have a small space for our luggage.
Its basic accommodation and well located for Montmartre, so you are close to a key attraction and a great view. As just a resting place/stopover it caters with a basic bed & en-suite and some breakfast. BUT The hotel is in the area at the bottom of the "mont" or hill and as such sits in a community that is quite daunting and depressing at times.
Room had exposed wires, spare pillows were not clean and smelly, the staff were at one time at war with each other and people sleep in the streets outside in a very lively and dirty neighbourhood. Upstairs rooms were only accessible by small spiral staircases, not big or easy enough for our cases/bags.
Location just near by the Montmartre Only the lady at breakfast service is polite and works well.
Staff unfriendly, do not know how manage clients' change, seems to be annoyed with clients Room not ready when we took it, towels were not there, bathroom with very low water flow
Good beds, easy subway access, good value for money, basic but very clean rooms.
Neighbourhood is definitely not completely safe later in the evening or at night. Over day, no problem at all.
Good value for money location is not too far from Montemarte and the restaurant rows Cheap food around hotel Very close to Metro (Chateu Rouge) and bus stops Close to supermarket (Leader Price / Carrefour)
Hotel location itself is not too good of neighborhood. Dirty street and bad stench. Beware of very small bathroom.
i did not like their rules because they don't value our rights and our money. they don't allow visitors in rooms so they don't want us to do sex, Maybe they think we are abnormal or prisoners
Person at reception doesn't understand English so it was tough. Showers in bathroom was not proper.. it was difficult to had bath as water in shower doesn't had enough pressure.
I think, without eiffel tower,Paris does not have anything.
During our stay the hotel suffers from having warm water for showering. The area around the hotel was very crowded. Interestingly the hotel did not have safety box.
