Hôtel Novanox  

The location is amazing - you are surrounded by beautiful architecture, steps away from the Jardins de Luxembourg, and have easy access to 2 subway lines, which is important in Paris. The beds were very comfortable (my sister and I had the twin bed room on the back side of the hotel) and clean and the bathroom modern. There is nothing I didn't like and I would go back anytime. Also, the price for Paris is very good.

The best thing about the hotel is the location- 1/2 a block from the Port Royal train station which connects to the airport and in a beautiful area of Paris near the Luxemborg gardens on Blvd Montparnasse. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable and quiet and the breakfast is excellent. It is easy to get around- there are wonderful restaurants and shopping at the doorstep. Some of the staff are fantastic and a couple are pretty ordinary- we asked for a wake up call and didn't get one for example. But I've stayed there a half dozen times and it is always a pleasure.

The rooms are a bit dated and are quite small and the hotel seems rather expensive for what you get.

Not much choice with the breakfast

The hotel has a perfect location for tourists visiting Paris. From any of the arrival points in the city the rer is the best connection to the hotel. There are excellent transport links to all sites a tourist would want to visit including those outwith central Paris, metro, rer and bus for moving aound the city, are all within two minutes of the hotel. However, the immediate area has many restaurants, brasseries, bars and cafes for guests who prefer not to travel far in the evenings. The hotel staff were all very accommodating and efficient. Security at the hotel is good and all areas very clean. The standards are high. All in all this hotel is a "find" and after 20 years of visiting Paris as a tourist I have no hesitation in recommending the Novanox to friends of all ages and tastes. I most certainley will use the Hotel Novanox for future visits to Paris.

Hotel staff very nice, always ready to help and all of them speak english. Great value for the money i paid, the hotel is confortable, and nicely decorated and very good located. Port-Royal station is near and the hotel street (Boulevard Montparnass) has several restaurants with a reasonable price (L'Abri Cotier, Lê Relais de L'Entrecote, Hippopotamus). I read some negative reviews regardind the breakfast but i must say that is good enough, i like it (croissant, panike, bread, orange juice, milk, coffee, orange, butter, juice, cream).

I don't have anything negative to say. It's true that the lift is quite small, but it's fun as you have to go up first, and then the hotel staff sends your luggage to your floor :)

I have stayed there before and it was good then but this time it was even better.

It is a nice hotel with a good staff in an interesting place. Very near to some of the best Paris brasseries.

The location is perfect with lots of restaurants, shopping and cinemas nearby. Due to location near rer very good for business trip as well.

Very good location right on the rer b line which goes to the airports. Also very close to metro. Plenty of restaurants close by. Good breakfast with good variety.

Front desk staff polite but not friendly.

Generous staff, accommodated us in a slightly larger room for the same price! Offered to print a travel document. Pleasant breakfast included with room and freshly steamed milk offered with coffee! Close to RER/metro.
