Hôtel Novanox  

The location is amazing - you are surrounded by beautiful architecture, steps away from the Jardins de Luxembourg, and have easy access to 2 subway lines, which is important in Paris. The beds were very comfortable (my sister and I had the twin bed room on the back side of the hotel) and clean and the bathroom modern. There is nothing I didn't like and I would go back anytime. Also, the price for Paris is very good.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Novanox. Nice rooms (to the back, less noisy), good breakfast, extremely friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Good location. From Airport CDG you can take the RER train directly to Port Royal and walk 2 minutes to the hotel: perfect.

It's all about location....location...location. Friendly desk staff. Considering a well located hotel in Paris the Hotel.Com price was very good, the walk-in rate per night when not pre-booked is twice the Booking.Com rate and is, frankly, excessive.

The bed was a bit uncomfy...not bad, however.

The Hotel is located within easy walking distance of great restaurants and shops. There is a rer train station just near and a Metro stop not far as well and these can be used to access various tourist attractions. But we walked to some of these attractions rather than use public transport. The room looked nice and was clean and tidy. The bathroom was modern looking. We didn't sample the buffet breakfast so we aren't sure how this was. The staff were helpful in all aspects, spoke English and were especially nice when we weren't sure our airport shuttle was going to arrive and the reception guy was trying to organize a pick up for us then. This was 6am!

The lift was very small...two people could barely fit in much less take luggage etc. But thank God for a lift as many places don't even have one. The shower could've been larger and with a fixed screen door. I kept hitting the taps when I turned in the shower.

I asked for a bath, it was confirmed by booking.com and then we got a room with no bath and then they changed us but is was a room with a tub, a bath were just my legs get under water. And if you see the photo's with the hotel it gives you an other idea, it was really low budget for a high price. And there stoot in the info coffe and theemaker, but you got only this once, for this price and with that info it was nog correct!

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy room, though we did have a problem with working out how to use the shower, which resulted in us having to mop the floor!!

Didn't have breakfast, but though that 13 Euros was very steep for a "continental breakfast". Would be better to charge a bit more, and include breakfast in the full price for the rooms. As we were on the ground floor, we were awoken by staff coming and going, especially early in the morning.

Good reasonably priced hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Good location for access to Charles de Gaulle on rer. Access to a range of restaurants and good location for visiting local attractions.

The staff was always very nice. The standard room is small, yet comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, and the room was also neat. Also, it is very close to the port royal station, which makes the trip to Charles de Gaule very easy. For walkers, like me, it is walking distance from lots of the main attractions in Paris, such as Luxemburg gardens, Bon Marche and Notredame cathedral. I recommend Novanox hotel.

Helpful staff; warm, comfortable room. Conveniently placed near transport - buses, metro, etc. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets nearby.

We loved this hotel. Very clean but small rooms, great location and the front staff were most helpful !

Good hotel, in a good position, with relatively clean rooms and all the basic services. Not particularly fancy, but it still provides reasonable value for money. WiFi was available for free in the room.

The fact that breakfast was not included is definitely a minus, as is the condition of the common areas, which could be improved.

Very good location for visiting Paris - nearby, metro, taxis, bus. A lot of restaurants and shops just nearby. Calm, tranquillity. Beds very confortable. Rooms very clean. Able to make tea or coffee in room.

Staff reasonably polite but not cheerful - not very welcoming and indifferent. More a 2 star hotel than 3 star and price high (but it's Paris !)
