There were no real wardrobe in the room, only hangers for jackets. The tidyness of the bathroom was not satisfactory (sprinkles of whatever at the wall, limescale at the shower, some smear on the towel hanger). There was no possibility to call the room from abroad without knowledge of French... the reception said is was no problem they spoke English, too... Well, probably they don't even know that calling the hotel you get to a machine voice first (and when you can't understand the choices to make you'll never even get to the reception). A direct dial would solve that problem. Due to the neighbourhood of the trainstation, the front of the hotel was at times flooded with beggers.
Best was the choice to have breakfast in your room without additional cost, spontaneously by putting an according hangé with ticked choices at the door. Though more choices on that list would have been even better. Free w-lan without a hassle. Big flat screen tv with about 70 channels, thereof ~10 engl, 5 german and radio. one free bottle of water/day. Very pleasant modern bathroom.
