The size of the room was pleasing, the breakfast was good - excellent selection, the bathroom was large and well appointed and the decor of the hotel was very smart. |

The room was very clean and newly refurbished, Very central location. Good breakfast choices Our room was quite close to the lift and we could hear it. In the morning the fire alarm went off, we rushed to reception where the staff was checking out guests (and kept doing so unaffected by the alarm) and nobody said a word about the alarm. When it stopped we went back to our room but not a single member of staff did or said anything about the alarm/possible emergency. A bit odd. |

Ideal location, 8 minutes walk from train station (still, a little more than the “a few hundred meters” mentioned on the Website). Nice, big, clean room. Nice staff, very accommodating: as a big coffee drinker, I requested, and got, more coffee Nespresso capsules. Loved the fact that it had separate bath tub and shower in the bath room. The bed, of course as in all NOVOTELs was absolutely great, big and very comfortable. Did not use the restaurant facilities. All in all, a very nice experience. On arrival at 14.15, the reception told me that my room was not ready (odd for that time of day) and did not seem to know that I had booked an Executive room. This was, however, sorted out very quickly. Little remark about the room : the Nespresso machine had not been cleaned : there were still some coffee capsules left inside the machine. Also, the bath tub was a little on the small size (then again, I am 5”10 / 1,75m). As mentioned in the positive, the location was good, just a little noise coming late at night from the street. But I guess every city has got its drunken population... |

The hotel staff could have warned us that the underground car park would be closed due to the weekend festivities. when we went to retrieve our car on sunday morning the car park was closed. Luckily we approached a very competent and friendly policeman who solved the problem efficiently and we were able to go on our way after a very enjoyable weekend. |

the breakfast was good, the hotel is conviently located in the city centre. the rooms are small, but neat. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpfull. the service was less than poor, the quality of the food (except breakfast) was horrible. In the evening the hotel was badly understaffed: in total 2 people for front desk, room service, bar, restaurant and kitchen. |

Proximity to town centre was very good and long breakfasrt hours were also much appreciated The water in the room (rm 409) didn't drain away very quickly- we meant ot tel lthe hotel before leaving but forgot. Although not a major problem it meant the shower filled up very quickly. |

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was comfortable, clean and we liked the decor. The location is great. With check out at 12:00 it makes life easier. They also have a luggage holding area. We were not given good instructions to get from the carpark to the hotel - a little bit frustrating. |
