Easy to find and the parking was easy to access. A great location and the room was very spacious. Breakfast too expensive so we didn't bother, the bar was a bit pricey as well.

Centrally located in town & parking close by. No reserved hotel parking space in one easily accessible area of the big general multistorey car park.

This was our first stay at a Novotel Hotel outside Canada and I must say we were very pleased with our visit to the hotel. The room was spotless and the reception was warm, friendly and very expeditious. Checking in and out was easy and staff assisted us in calling a cab to the Metz train station. I would recommend the Metz Novotel to my colleagues and friends.

I normally prefer to go out and eat in a local restaurant rather than eat in a hotel, however we were only staying one night as a lay over on our way home and we arrived later than expected so decided to eat in. So glad we did ... There was a good choice on the menu which was available in both French and English, and the food was excellent. The room was nicely appointed and was quiet. The public car park is located beneath the hotel and you get your ticket processed for 10 Euros for the overnight stay which is quite good value. We thought it was a good choice and will probably use it again. We arrived when the light was going down, and left the next day so we didn't really get a good look around the location, but it didn't seem to be in a particulary nice part of town.

Ease of access was the best thing about the hotel. We could visit and see pretty much everything on foot. The hotel was not new, but clean enough to meet the Novotel standard. We've stayed at Novotel Hotel in different cities and this one was perhaps the simplest one of all we've experienced so far. Breakfast was okay. Didn't have that much varieties, but satisfactory assortment of food, which filled our stomach. Receptionist was friendly and could speak good English, which was a plus for us, non-French speakers.

The location was perfect for our needs. We were visiting Metz to shop and it was right smack in the middle of the shopping district. There was a restaurant on site which made it easy for our dinner plans after a long day of shopping. The staff was very, very friendly and helpful and accomodating. The rooms were spacious and clean and modern. Rooms were quiet. There was parking below the street which was perfect because there was not a lot of parking available since it was in the city center.

It's a clean and friendly place. Great location, right in the center of Metz. It's a typical 'big chain' hotel. Not very cosy but friendly. Fun X-box in the lobby to play free games.

The location is good and the hotel is functional. The restaurant was excellent in its category; not too expensive and with nice service and alternatives on the menu. I would have loved to be there in the summer season and use the swimming pool. The hotel is difficult to find by car if you do not know the city. It would be good to clearly indicate that it is on top of the parking St. Jacques and suggest that out of region drivers head for that. Current street works make the situation more confused.

Great location in the middle of the city, adjacent to the pedestrian/shopping areas. The rooms were big and soundproof, perfect when travelling with pets and an 6 month old baby. Directly below the hotel is a shopping center where you can stock up on wine and food for your stay. Breakfast is not worth the money, go outside a couple of paces and eat breakfast at a local bakery.

Above a shopping centre, with 10 euro a day parking beneath, and right on the doorstep of the pedestrian area leading to the Cathedral. Surprisingly big room for 3 adults and windows that actually open if you don't want the air conditioning. Open air pool adjacent to bar/restaurant. No need to eat at hotel as plenty of choice nearby. Bettr than many Novotels and nice city to visit.

The hotel was very central and close to shops and restaurants. The hotel was comfortable. The hotel did provide tea and coffee making facilities but this appeared very grudging, for example, we had one ordinary tea bag and two teabags of mint and licorice with only paper cups.

Room was really comfortable, you could not hear other guests in other rooms so very quite. Location was good. Gym was adequate. The gentleman on the bar at night was excellent, friendly and accommodating . Reception staff where not well trained, one gave us the wrong directions to catch a cruise we ended up on the wrong side of the river and had to run to get the boat, not good when you are our age. I found their attitude dismissive, we also had a query on the bill, the young lady told me they change their pricing all the time, I had prepaid for my booking. Paid the difference, but would not recommend this hotel anymore

The hotel is in the middle of the city center which was great! Hotel was good for our stop over. We booked a room for 3 but on arrival the third bed still had dirty linnen on it. We needed to ask twice for making the bed!

“Clean room, good beds, and the marvellous restaurant. Very good and tasty food for reasonable prices. And the free glass of perfect wine. The wine list. Our stay was a pleasant experience. Oh! I forgot to mention the good parking facilities. Abouth the restaurant:why is it not in the Guide Michelin list as a bib gourmand (value for money) place? It belongs there. ” Jozef, Leidschendam-voorburg |
