Novotel Paris Charles De Gaulle Terminal

First, I like Novotels and stay in them often when in Europe. Second, I stayed in this Novotel the night before our flight home. We dropped the rental car at the agency and took the shuttle right to the hotel. It was everything we expected - and more. It was convenient, clean, quiet (yes, even though the planes were right outside our window it was dead quiet) and friendly. In addition, in the manner of Novotels, it had a more than adequate restaurant (which is why I felt confident returning the car upon arrival rather than waiting until after dinner). In the morning, there was a very good breakfast (included in the price of the room which made the room a steal) and a 4 minute shuttle ride to our terminal. This hotel is highly recommended for our purpose.

My stayed for 2 nites was so convenient cos I want to fly home at no hazzle on departure date and also so convenient for within terminal of airport and train to down town or any part of Paris ...

On my way home from Morocco to Australia needed to stay 2 nights close to the airport and this turned out to be a good choice. Comfortable, close to transport to Paris and of course the airport. Good food and reasonable rates made this an enjoyable stay.

There is was nothing I didn't like.

It is right next to the intra-airport train making it perfect for early morning flights. The restaurant food is quite good.

I booked this hotel because I knew it was close to the terminal at the airport we had to fly out of. This was very convenient. We had a clean room and it was well insulated from the outside, you couldn't hear planes taking off. The bathroom was well equipped, however it only had a shower but I knew that when I booked. I would either stay here again or perhaps the Sheraton because that hotel was even closer to our terminal.

The restaurant food was over priced and not good. We ended up having to go elsewhere after dinner to get food because we were still hungry. Our room was fine, however we were on the first floor and when we got out of the elevator and looked out the window, there was garabage stacked all over the place outside. Not appealing for a $200 per night room. So basically the room was good however there were outside factors I was not impressed with.

Booked this hotel due to accessability to the airport and train station however it was impossible to use the airport shuttle as we had young children in buggys and suitcases. You have to leave your trolley in the airport and take escalators to get to the train station so no way it can be done if you have anything apart from a small suitcase. We then ended up having to get a taxi which cost 40 euro and then on returning to the airport the hotel book taxis for us, the firm they use didnt have a big taxi to fit our family so they booked us 2 taxis which charged us 30 euro each so it cost us an extra 100 just to get to the hotel.

Location - proximity and ease/speed of access to cdg terminals and rer. Staff were very helpful and courteous to 2 new travellers within France. Would definitely use again.
