We spent our honeymoon here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.We have been to Paris on numerous occasions and this location is by far the best.If you want to avoid public transport then this is the place to stay. I was also informed by the other half that the shops around this hotel were excellent especially for shoes!! There are loads of places to eat within 5 mins walk with a range of options for all budgets, if you like your pasta/pizzas then I would suggest a visit to Cafe Enio (near the font des Innocents) The staff are helpful without being pushy or intrusive. We booked a superior room and it was spacious and quiet. We will stay there again on our return to Paris.

It has everthing I needed at that price point. Staff were efficient, helpful and spoke english. Good location for sight seeing, shopping and restaurants. Very good buffet breakfast. No complaints about the hotel itself. I was a little perturbed about some of the people that tend to frequent the immediate area later at night, although we returned as a group every night so it was not a real issue.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The room was really clean and comfortable. On the second morning of the stay, there was a racket downstairs which woke us up. Apparently the cleaners were protesting about the wages they were being paid. This continued all day. We decided to go sight seeing. We spent all day and when we returned the protesting continued. On the third day of the stay, the protests continued in the foyer which was really loud as they were chanting and beating drums and metal bins.

The location is very convenient - next to Les Halles transport junction, from which you can quickly get anywhere by Metro or train. The property is more worn-out than shown in pictures. Staff appears to be under stress and not particularly happy to work in this hotel. However all our needs and wishes were dealt with quickly and accurately.

Excellant location. Pleasent stuff. Big rooms - plenty of space. Cleaners were on strike during our stay. Although, they did clean the room everyday. Too noisy strike - you could find the hotel easier from the noise than from a map

Location location location, and car parking The whole hotel is beginning to look tired around the edges, the pillows were like bricks and only one of them, staff are okay but a little distracted and slow, the shower needed fixing so it didn't flop down all the time, and it is very expensive for the overall experience. I will search an alternative for next time.

Novotel Paris Les Halles is a hotel with location much more convenient that described in their advertisement. It's a door-to-door to a lift leading to Charlet metro, and Charlet Les Halles rer, which is also a scenical and shopping walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris. The most surprising short distance is to Pompidou, just a corner's walks! The location offers safe/middle class/white collar group which you would not feel the safety issue comparatively speaking. The hotel offers computer games room which is an unforgettable experience for our child. He cited this treatment as the most impressive during his Paris trip! It seems that they devide jobs in a too clear way which let the staff act less flexible, E.G. when arriving with jet lag of child, they delay in offering the service for open the sofa bed which is a less satisfied thing. The room outlet looks less good compared with the bright and beautiful picture, as well as the size of room 25 sqm might not be the room size, but to include the door way area I guess.

Convenient location with easy Metro access. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Room was a large by Parisian standards. Charming area of Les Halles includes many good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Offered us free wi-fi in the room (usually not included), which was a great plus. We didn't opt for the breakfast option and found good and less expensive alternatives close by. Area feels a little sketchy at night and it's important to be observant, especially when using the metro station or in the nearby park areas.

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |
