there was no problem to change the room because we couldn't open the window. it was too hot in the room. they were very friendly.

the rooms in the first floor are too hot.

The cleanliness of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff.

Breakfast time was congested, I would suggest that a bar area or conference room be set with tables to accommodate guests at breakfast, and ease the congestation during times when the hotel experiences a bigger number of guests.

I like Novotel- design, coffee-mashine in the rooms, staff are very attentive, communicate friendly

1) Bedclothes could be better 2) cleaning room could be better- floor was made not every day 3) I changed the key every day, because it was demagnitized again and again... it's awful when I use the key to upstair by lift, but I can use it to open the door of my room... I was forced to downstair to change the key every day...brrr 4) I'm wondering- what was happened in breatfast time? I had meet with such huge line to have a table at first time... I wish you to deal with operations at the restaurant. It didn't spoil my pleasure to stay in Novotel... Kind regards. 5) please inform about breakfast time at checkin time and prolong it till 12. I have seen a lot of people who would like to have breakfast after 11. You have more guests- tourists... 6) oh, pancakes were awful... unbelievible..

The building of les Halles, should have been told us, when we booked the Hotel. Then we would have booked another NOVOtel in Paris.

The room was excellent

Novotel was ideal for a weekend in Paris, great location near île de la Cité and Chatelet, the central station with links to everywhere including airports. Very clean, modern hotel with smoking rooms and, I'm delighted to say, full fried breakfast, so very civilised. Receptionists were very pleasant and helpful. The area is not too busy but has plenty of shops and some excellent restaurants.

No information given that surrounding is under construction. With big luggage are hell. Staffs are sternfaces. Will never stay in this hotel.

The concierge, Manuel, was very helpful. The room was small but adequate. Everything was clean. Room service was delicious. The hotel is very modern.

The location is a bit run-down, but they are in the midst of renovating the whole area and improving the nearby metro station.

Staff was absolutly great, ready to help...! Good deal on parking. Good sign direction while works around hotel.

There were 3 of us in one bedroom but only 2 cups to have coffee or tea. Cos of building works we didnt like our wiev....got a feeleing someone should let me know about that works going on around holet.

Room became very hot on the last night and we were unable to adjust the temperature.

Excellent location downtown Paris; clean hotel and room; excellent and diligent, polite, nice staff, spacious room; silent, comfortable, convenient.

Not enough staff; microscopic towels (although the room rate was eur 245/night!!!), ridiculous bathroom amenities, unreliable tv system (2 breakdowns in one night), haphazard Internet connection.==> Obviously, a cfo and a few accountants have influenced the overall service quality over the years....

Booked the hotel for satellite tele vision but unfortunately did not have english channels which was very disappointing considering it had some 107 channels.

The staff were excellent and looked after us when we requested to be moved due to road works out front.

Unfortunately we were very disapointed to discover that this hotel was in effect on a building site. Had we been aware of this, we would never have booked it for our weekend break in Paris. We realised we had a problem when four taxi drivers refused to bring us to the hotel due to the roadworks issue. My parents are elderly and you can imagine my worry that we would not be able to reach the hotel - we are not familar with paris so were literally stranded until finally a taxi agreed to bring us. When we arrived we were shocked at what greeted us - it was a construction site. The taxi was unable to drop us to the door so we had to walk amongst the mesh gates of the site to get to the door. Awful. We requested a move immediately and the following day we were moved. We new we'd made the right decision as the taxi that collected us had a row with the hotel on discovering she could not pick up from the hotel itself. The experience put a huge dent in what was a very special weekend to celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary. I am very disapointed with bookings.com and Novotel for not informing us of this prior to booking. However, I would like to commend the staff in Novotel - in particular a girl called Jennifer - who was so kind and helpful in relation to moving us. Thank you Audrey Kelly (daughter of Robert).

We stayed in an executive room. The toilet is outside of the bathroom that was not good .. An architech shall see these rooms! :) There is a construction area just beside of the hotel, it was very noisy ..

This is the worst hotel I have ever been. The second day of our stay my girl friend I got robbed in our hotel room. When we confronted the front desk manager, not only he did not call the police, he did nothing to return the money. By using magnetic key logs we discovered that somebody (most probably house keeping) left our room 2 minutes prior to our arrival to room after breakfast. The hotel is infested with organised crime which goes in chain: house keeping, break fast personnel, front desk. Upon check out nobody even gave us the invoice for our paid stay!!! My recommendation is to avoid this hotel and enjoy paris elsewhere!

Perfect location with easy access to Chatelet Les Halles metro stop and easy walks to Le Louvre and Notre Dame. Plenty of good restaurants around.
