The room was cosy and clean.Staff lovely and the position is really central.
Set in a courtyard the hotel was very quiet. Every day the room was cleaned to a high standard and the towels changed. The staff were always helpful and unobtrusive. It felt like a safe place to stay. A short walk got us to most places in the city and the buses were cheap to get us elsewhere e.g Cannes and Monaco. Having a balcony was lovely. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby.
The tea and milk were in short supply but we were always given more when we asked (however we bought a packet of tea and some milk to save asking). The room was big enough but only just with little space for clothes or suitcases. The fridge said "no food".
The carpets and the smell of old cigars.
I could hear through one of the walls in the other room.
Were allowed to leave baggage while we explored the city, the staff was very nice, the room was well kept and comfortable and pretty, as was the surrounding area of the property
not much really, its a little farther from the train station than is ideal but we didnt have too much baggage so we made it just fine!
Absolutely peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Nice is very small and Hotel Oasis is located quite close to the rail terminal as well as to the sea coast. Very kind staff speaking English and even Russian. Hotel is historic place.
absence of hair dryier
Very nice personnel, good value for money
rooms are small, but cosy.
Good value for money
The small room.
The hotel personnel Silence of hotel location Closeness to train station
Location. Parking off street. A room with access to a small terrace. Having a kettle and a fridge. Excellent daily service of the room. Friendly reception staff. Nicely decorated throughout.
Great location, nice place, recommended
Beautiful (!!!) building, where Csehov lived anno. Peaceful place in the downtown, privat parking aviable, nice wiew from the window, palm trees, flowers, sunshine.
Location, design, facilities
The room was too small, though just like in the foto when booking. The bathroom area is too small to even turn your body around hence hardly recommend. Also, you can hear every sound from your nearby rooms as the walls seem very thin. Otherwise, all is good.
I loved it when the taxi driver refused to take me to Hotel Oasis, as he pointed across the road and said it just up that road. I loved the hotel on sight! I loved the drive way and the trees and plants. I loved the outside dining area. I loved the pleasant and welcoming man at the reception desk. I loved my room and even though it was small, I know that this is Europe and rooms tend to be small, also it is just for sleeping because when you're on a holiday you are on the go all the time. I loved the area and the easy access to all the main sights. The walk to the beach Promenade des Anglais was delightful. The new carpet on the floor was a delight, red. It made me want to walk barefoot all the time. The aircon worked very well as did the Wifi. The breakfast was good and the service in the breakfast room was also good. I stayed only one night but I will return to Hotel Oasis soon.
Bathroom very small, no bath only shower and if a shower cubicle is that tiny it is not a good idea to have a plastic shower curtain - for obvious reasons. A glass door would have been preferable. Other than the bathroom I have no complaints at all and loved this darling little hotel and the wonderful staff.
Short walk from the trainstation, yet a rather central location close to most attractions i the city.
Some of the staff did not care much!
Great location, charming garden, friendly and helpful staff
Overpriced charges for breakfast, for a cup of coffee or other drink that could have been enjoyed in the garden
Location, close to the station and the boardwalk. Wifi good and staff very gentle
Thin walls, you can here close guests and flushes
Great shower, big bathroom . room was spacious enough for three people. We asked for a quiet room and we got one. Our room overlooked the courtyard..
No proper bar. Only 2 cups in triple room , didn't refill tea or coffee..but no big complaints.
location good for the train station, and city centre
rooms very small.
good location with parking
room is dark, the lights and hair dryer didn't work at all. only one person is allowed to use wifi each room and we didn't get new tea bags and coffee after we use them on the firsty day during our stay.
This is at least the 10th time I/we have stayed here - excellent location with parking and very quiet
A good location in a quiet setting, an attractive building set in a nice garden, the room was comfortable and clean there were friendly and helpful staff for the most part, the lady receptionist was particularly helpful, and the hotel was reasonably priced for Nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would return there.
My room was small and rather dark. .Although the room was equipped with a kettle, tea, coffee and milk were provided only on arrival. I was told when I asked for more, they could not be replenished. Also, the frig had an unfriendly note stuck on it saying that it could only be used for drinks obtained in the hotel bar. That is absurd. The safe was not working, and the hooks behind the bathroom door were broken. These are small points but taken together, give a negative impression. Although most of the staff were excellent, there was one of the night staff who was unfriendly and unhelpful.
Quiet courtyard location, cleanliness, comfort of bed, proximity to rail station, quiet comfortable lounge, pleasant garden seating area, 3 out of 4 friendly staff, air con
Small room, noisy fridge, not enough milk for drinks in room, no decaff coffee or tea in room
the breakfast choice
Proximity to station and good value. Off street parking available.
