Very stylish. Friendly staff. Our room was 406. The bathroom smelled of cooking from the restaurant kitchen below. It was also a very small room.

The front desk stafff was very accommodating and exceptionally helpful for providing directions and restaurant recommendations. Beautifully decorated boutique hotel, perfectly located for Paris-walking, with English-speaking staff. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable, and the shower terrific...exceptionally clean. We also enjoyed the beakfast, although the coffee was not very good...may be because we're used to American brewed decaf. All-in-all, we highly recommend it for singles or couples.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional. They went over and above to ensure my stay was as relaxing as possible. I had booked a superior double room and found the room quite small but adequate for myself. However on enquiry I was offered a larger suite at the same price which was unexpected and very thoughtful. The staff were very helpful in organising reservations, taxi's and providing directions to attractions. Unfortunately the restaurant that adjoins the hotel was disappointing. Some of the staff were quite rude and the service was poor. The restaurant is not 24 hour as it was advertised to be. The breakfast offering is minimal and not worth the price. Despite being moved to a larger and much more modern room, it was located on the ground floor which meant every time a guest went to breakfast or chatted to the front desk, it was clearly audible. The noise began from 6am so there was no chance of a sleep in! Not great when your on holiday! I would recommend this hotel but on the condition the room is at located on the 3rd floor or higher.

We loved loved loved the Observatoire Hotel. It was recommended to us by a friend of a friend. We have no regrets ~ we had a fabulous time in Paris (our first time but not our last). The Observatoire is a great value for the money and the rooms were spotlessly clean....The staff (desk and housekeeper) were awesome. Very helpful and always smiling. We plan on passing on the recommendation to others.....stay at the Observatoire....you won't be disappointed!

The hotel is excellent - not less than that. The hotel staff is very professional, friendly, and like to help in any issue at any time of the day and the night. The hotel rooms are new, maintenance is very good, the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect, in the centre but still far from the noise of the center. We would like to recommend this hotel when your are staying in Paris as a family and as a pair."

This is a 3 star hotel mostly because it does not have all the facilities like pool, spa ,... But as far as rooms and Staff goes it should be a 4 start hotel. I have stayed in a lot of so called 4 start hotels in Europe that do not come nearly close to this hotel as far as design and room comfort... I will not hesitate to go back there again. Also Staff are very nice and friendly. Great hotel overall :) Breacfast at restaurant was a bit expensive , but you can eat elsewhere and it no big deal.

We loved the location, and the design of the hotel. Getting to know the staff at the front desk was nice as well. The main annoyance came from the room doors, that close on their own with a bang. Guests on our hall did not seem to get that you should help your door close softly, and not let it slam shut, so we were awakened early each morning by our neighbors. But this could be fixed very easily with a note, or a new door system

Observatoire Luxembourg - I took a superior room - was recently renovated. Very new bathrooms, good shower, sink, mirrors, towel radiators etc. Aircon works fine. Double bed very comfortable. Free Wifi. Attached brasserie for both breakfast and other meals if you wish. Location right next to Luxembourg station (rerb) makes it easy to get to both Orly and cdg airports. Renovation means painters and decorators in the hotel, but it's a small thing and they did not get in the way. I would use again.
