Very small room Outside work on facade, noisy during the day Room needs a new carpet and some updates
Best shower I have had in ages.
Room just a little on the small side. But very comfortable nevertheless.
Location is excellent, rooms are beautiful. The hotel has a very parisian feel. Absolutely loved it.
Michele was perfect: friendly, kind, cool and smart! Many Thanks.
Fast check-in, quiet room, smiling, helpfull staff.
Pricey, as everything in Paris:)
Extremely responsive and friendly staff. Even before our visit, they made dinner reservations for us, including one when we were no longer guests. Transportation arranged for us as well.
Great location. My room had a wonderful view of a large garden and the Hotel des Sourds. Very comfy bed, even if the room was small (average for Paris)> helpful staff. I was even able to get breakfast at 6am
Accurate directions Friendly greeting Great location Good breakfast
Small room No bath tub
Friendliness of the staff Quality of Hotel Ease of access to Airport (RER) Near central Paris So many cafes and Bistros nearby
We stayed for 3 nights in August and loved every bit of our stay. We selected this hotel after reading tonnes of reviews on the internet and werent disappointed at all. The location of the hotel is very convenient and located 5 minutes from the Luxembourg RER. Notre Dame is located 15 mins from the hotel while the beautiful Luxembourg gardens are just across the road. The rooms are slightly on the smaller side but then its Paris!!!. To our surprise, we were greeted by macarons when we arrived in our hotel on the first day. Vincent (i hope i have the name right) at the front desk is an absolute asset to the hotel. Super friendly and helpful. He helped us out with planning all our routes to major tourist attractions, including arranging our taxi to the Orly airport on our way out. The service was great all around. We would definitely go back and stay here.
Excellent location with easy access walking, bus or metro. Having the Jardin du Luxembourg on the doorstep was perfect. Lots of cafés, bars and restaurants at a walkable distance. The staff were welcoming and the air conditioning in the superior room was superb.
The Obseratoire Luxembourg Hotel staff are very nice and friendly. The hotel is close to RER B station and the transportation is quite convenient. There are many good restaurants around and a small supermarket nearby. I think it‘s a good place for travellers.
Staff were excellent, especially Jessica. Breakfast, especially fresh orange juice on tap. Could open windows. 2min walk to Luxembourg Gardens. WiFi access throughout; although it was a little slow at times. Access to RER B for direct line to CDG.
We were disturbed by other people going in and out of their rooms on our floor and also by movement in rooms above.
Great atmosphere and feel about the whole place. Furnishing had a bit of thought behind them not just run I'd the mill nice. Staff outstanding
Not much comes to mind
Staff were super nice and helpful; very clean and comfortable
While it's very close to the RER, not very close to main metro lines.
Welcoming staff, lovely decor, great location
Room a bit on the small side but i gather hotel rooms in Paris are generally quite small
Everything was perfect for our stay, it gave us everything we required to make our time in your beautiful city fantastic. The above score is given with all aspects taken into consideration. Your wonderful gentleman on front desk, the good looking one with the glasses was exceptional, nothing was a bother for him, from arrival until we departed he went out of his way to ensure everything went smoothly, excellent service from all staff, the cleaning staff were so accommodating with our all over the place wake ups. Thank so much and we will certainly be singing your praise here in Australia. Best regards Margaret and John or Mrs Rankin to my friend
The location and the staff were superb.
The rooms are very small. You will be cramped if you have much luggage.
The location was excellent very near the RER and walking distance to Notre Dame and Louvre. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price is also fair for Paris!
fantastic location, charming brasserie attached to hotel

Decore, staff, location
Poor international TV programms Small Elivatore
We were delighted with this hotel from the time of booking to the moment we left in an private Airport Transfer which they had organised for us. Originally booking the hotel for it s close proximity being to The Luxembourg Gardens - we ate at the Bistrot which was a good quality meal at a reasonable price - enjoyed our character filled refurbished room with it s king size bed-made good use of the modern bathroom with a fabulous shower and bath. And agreed that it was the best place to stay in Paris. The staff were cheerful, attentive and efficient in all regards and in all areas.
I only thing I didn't like was leaving
Staff & location
Nothing to report....had ago of experience
We stayed for 5 nights in April, 2014. It's an excellent location with easy access to train, bus and a short walk to the Seine and Notre Dame. The Luxembourg Gardens are just across the road and are a delightful place. The staff were extremely patient with non-French speakers and most spoke very good English. They were, without exception, helpful and friendly, especially Mustafa. I will definitely stay again.
