Hôtel Jardin de l'Odéon  

Very clean, close to the main places to visit in Paris.

I reported a problem with the shower that was not solved. Them I could not shower the last 2 days of my stay. They did not even bother.

This is a very well-located super clean and comfortable hotel with an unbeatably helpful and friendly 'round-the-clock staff. The Prestige room I stayed in was superb and felt brand new. The bed was extremely luxurious. Thank you very much, Hotel Jardin de l'Odeon! I will be back :)

The hotel staff were really lovely without exception and the room was a good size especially for Paris. The hotel was across the road from the Jardin du Luxembourg which was truly beautiful.

No tea and coffee making facilities and coffee was 3 euros so slightly disappointing but everything else was lovely.

The people at the desk were extremely kind and very efficient. I appreciated the quiet of the room. Great night's sleep!

Cleanliness, nice decor (especially nice bathroom and shower), very attentive and helpful staff. Simple but adequate breakfast buffet. Location! Prices competitive for very central Paris, and certainly value for money for the 5* service we got from what is on paper a 3* hotel.

Location location location! In the heart of the city with a metro station 2 streets away. Hive of cafes and restaurants. We didn't opt for breakfast option as preferred to sit in a local cafe which was great value for money and so tasty. We couldn't believe how much we walked and saw we didn't actually take one taxi or the metro out with our airport transfer. Room was smallish but it's what I expected so no disappointment. The hotel is well cleaned and we were very happy with the service.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I'd stay there again. Plus before I had even arrived home the hotel had emailed me to notify me of a valued possession I had left in the safe. So great service!

We loved the location of the hotel and the fact it was within walking distance to Saint Germain area with great shops and fabulous restaurants. We also found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. All restaurant reccomendations were excellent and all directions given were clear and concise. A great stay!

The rooms were very small. We also thought that the hotel had a garden - ref. the name!

The staff were excellent, very helpful and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for what we needed and that was a short walk to some fine restuarants and eateries and also close to the Metro. It was also in a quiet location away from the busy streets and noise.

Our only complaint would be the bed was not as comfortable as some beds we have slept in. But this is a minor issue and could be that we are not as young as we use to be!

The hotel is on a quiet street off of Plaçe l'Odeon, making it an easy walk to many places, restaurants, and shops. The room I had was small, but fine for one person. I faced the street (my preference) and the noise from outside was minimal for a city hotel. The air conditioning was great, and the wi-fi was good. The bathrooms are tight and not the most updated, but they are perfectly functional and clean. I enjoyed my stay here.

The cleaning staff didn't always pay attention to details in the bathroom...just little things here and there (nothing major). The walls are pretty thin, and while I didn't hear anything from the street, I could hear folks in their rooms or in the hallways. The plumbing is pretty loud. These kinds of things don't bother me, but more noise sensitive people may have an issue with it.

A perfect hide-away from mainstream Paris but oh so handy to everything. Small and subtle enough to feel more like a grand house than a hotel. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Having stayed in 14 hotels over six weeks I was delighted to find something that delivered such a lot yet was a hotel my budget could accommodate.

The location was excellent. The hotel was close to everything but was very quiet. The room had been renovated and the bed was very comfortable.

The room was very tiny. Next time we would upgrade to a larger room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance to many of the sights and/or public transportation.

Reception staff were helpful, as you would expect from them.

Room 61 on the top floor is also next to the lift shaft and the motor for the lift - expect noise from the motor to be heard in the room when the lift is used. Room 18, a larger room on the first floor is toward the back of the hotel, this is the room we were temporarily placed in due to the noise from the lift shaft in room 61. Room 18 was overlooked when the renovations last happened and is a bit dated and not as comfortable as the smaller rooms.

Great staff, very helpful with answers to questions about transportation and restaurants. Also great in helping print vouchers for tours and boarding passes for our flight home. Great location and we could walk to notre dame in less than 10 minutes, the metro from the airport was only 5 minutes walking distance and bus and metro to everywhere else very close too! Enjoyed our stay in Paris!

European partially enclosed showers took a little getting used to but it wasn't a problem. We had a great stay.

Friendliness and immediate attention from staff. Hotel was lovely and charming. Perfect location!

I did not like the 2 week notice for cancellation. That is actually how I ended up making my decision about which hotel I would be choosing to stay at. I missed their deadline. Luckily, I ended up at a wonderful place. I also missed not having a lounge/bar, where I could go in the evening for a glass of wine. Although I always felt safe in the area I was in, as a solo traveler, I think I would have liked to have had that option to go down to meet other people and enjoy a drink.

Great location right next to "Theatre de l'Odeon" and Jardin du Luxembourg. Free internet in room. Nice design.

Rooms are rather small.
