Our room was very comfortable and the shower was great. Peter and Claire were wonderful hosts. We appreciated the wine glasses and corkscrew in the room. Breakfast was ample and very good. Parking was easy and the view from our window was lovely. The boulangerie next door was great, and it was just a few minutes drive to Chateaulin for restaurants. I highly recommend exploring the Crozon peninsula- drive to the various points, park, and hike the trails along the coast- stunning views.

Lovely location next to the canal. Help yourself to drinks from the fridge on each floor. Very tasteful decor on a restored building. Hosts very helpful.

No where to eat in Port Launay so had to plan carefully - eat main meal at lunch then pick up picnic supplies to eat by the canal in the evening. WiFi was only available in the kitchen due to a supply issue that was rectified on departure day.

Very well situated and many towns were in easy reach. The manager was extremely helpful and clearly well organised. The bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast was excellent and it was a considerable bonus having a fridge with free drinks. The bathroom had all the extras expected in a high end B&B. Parking space was easily available on the street outside. We loved the view over the river and the moored yachts, and at night it was wonderfully quiet.

The decor of the bedroom seemed most inappropriate for the age of the building and the effect was to make the room seem gloomy. The brown leather sofa made things worse. The bedroom needs to be brightened up.The bathroom needed more effective curtains, especially at night.

    Location/hospitality. Complimentary drinks

The modern pine chest of drawers did not fit with the rest of furniture in room. The Union flag flying outside our window was upside down!!!!!

Excellent staff, beautiful room, plentiful included breakfast, free drink fridge

You have to drive or walk 30 minutes to get to restaurants. The location is beautiful, but really a bit too quiet. I am not kidding that they turn the street lights off at 23.00.

Surprisingly roomy inside with friendly staff and an excellent continental breakfast. A lovely setting by the river with parking directly outside.

Watch the stairs carrying your luggage. The house being so old the steps are all uneven!

Well, everything. Really nice location directly at the river, relatively quite street - not a lot of through traffic. The rooms are very nicely decorated and pretty. The 2x2m bed in our room (largest in the house though) was great. Breakfast outstanding. The croissants from the boulangerie next door are a dream. Rhiannon is very kind and eager to make your stay comfortable. The house itself has a lot of charme. It is from 1701 and you feel the history in it. Nice extras like filled fridge with complimentary drinks (Water, Beer, Wine, Orange Juice), DVDs availbale if you don't know what else to do with your time. We extended our stay as we loved it and if we ever come back to this area it will be our first choice to stay. Probably the best B&B we have been to and better than most hotels in the area.
