- Le décor (si on aime le style) - L'accueil - proximité de la gare - l'emplacement très central
Location great, the staff very helpful, feels like a 4.5/5 star Good area close to lots. Right by a major metro station and the opera house. Good shopping, love the decor of the hotel and the rooms. Stayed here twice already and would stay again. :)))
Wifi is slow
I've stayed here twice in one month. This place is great. Good location. And the hotel is beatiful... Staff is very friendly and helpful... Outdoor courtyard really cute. Our rolm was upgraded :) great decor, coffee pod machine and tea replenished everyday... Ioved the room Good price! Would come back and stay again...
Wifi boots u out and u have to re sign in often. Quite slow.
The service at the reception in the morning is fantastic.
The receptionist at night is extremely unhelpful and was rude at several instances. I asked for water on my way in, he gave a used bottle. When I commented, he informed that I can go somewhere else for my water. The bathroom in the room has a major shower door miss-design. The bathroom is always folded after a shower.
Great location, about 5 minutes walking distance to shopping area on Blvd Haussmann where Printemps and Galleries Lafayette are located. Right next to St. Lazare train station and metro. There is also a great burger joint next door. Also about 3-4 minutes away from the restaurant Mollard. I initially was a bit worry about the noise given proximity to the train station. The hotel is well insulated even from the street noise beneath the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Some restaurant in the area open until quite late, so there is never any problem with food.
Breakfast is not free and starts kind of late at 7am, if you sign up for tours that require you to be be at a certain location early you might have a problem. However, the Starbucks 2 doors away starts at 630am.
Nice comfortable room
Curtains were abit risky if you have kids as there was a naked women on them. Also there was a large seductive womens picture on the wall in the reception.Hallway abit dark due to decore.
the room, the staff imparticular, the whole vibe in general.
We LOVED this hotel! From the reception area and courtyard to the good sized rooms. Waking up to a coffee and croissant with your large windows open overlooking a stunning courtyard...how Parisian! We stayed in many Best Westerns whilst in France this year and this one was our highlight. Highly recommend!
We stayed here for our honeymoon and had such a good experience. The hotel was lovely, with very good facilities including access to an iPad and nespresso machine in our room (we booked a deluxe room). Our room was an excellent size and had the comfiest bed. Very modern and luxurious decor which we like. The staff were friendly and very helpful from booking our dinner cruise to trying to help find our lost camera (unsuccessful unfortunately). Although we didn't eat in the hotel, the receptionist was happy to serve us drinks on returning in the evening one night. Location was a bit of a walk from the centre, especially in the hot weather we had, but the hotel is right next to a main train station with excellent links to all parts of the city. The hotel is a 5/10 minute walk from the beautiful opera house. We would be more than happy to recommend this hotel to friends and would stay again here if we were to travel back to Paris (maybe to re-take the photographs we lost!) Thank you!
30 minutes walk from centre
- arrived at 6:30 am were told no rooms are free yet as I was waiting about 6 rooms checked out and still waited until 13:30 to check in - small rooms - very poorly staffed I was even asked to collect the water I ordered myself from reception - no rooms service - no bell boy - wifi is terrible - poor furniture - uncomfortable bed - unfriendly staff except for JAMEELA the receptionist - FIRST AND LAST TIME
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room and BR clean and well done with nice upgraded tile and style. Overlook the street .
Small size. Toilet separate from bathroom. Only one or 2 staff at front disk who do everything.
Staff on reception were very helpful
Few more coffee pods in the room would have been nice and breakfast very expensive.
Location, Staff, Cleaniness
Location is very convenient, near the railway station. Perfect for those who plan travelling by train
We booked a standard room but it ran out. So we got a free update. The room was absolutely wonderful and worth every penny. Perfect location. We would come here again.
The place was Very convenient, few meters from the metro, very close to the Grands magasin, could go to everywhere by walk. The room was very big compare to the average size of the hotels rooms of Paris, very comfortable, very well design, beautiful and well equipped (very good coffee machine and very good tea)! Also The staff of the hotel was very very nice! I had to leave 1 day earlier due to a personal urgency and they help me a lot and arrange all for me!
Almost nothing! Maybe just the fact that there is no gym but instead I went running along the river not far from hotel, that was really great to discover Paris!
Location, Staff and the mood
The location. Right next to St. Lazare metro stn and major shopping areas within walking distance. Galleries and Printemps are just a 2minute walk away while it's very easy and cheap to taxi to any of Paris's major attractions because of the location. Decor of the hotel was very stylish and I think it takes you by surprise. Well done to the designer. The lady at the front desk is extra helpful and polite. Range of restaurants around the hotel for a quick breakfast and for all those branded coffee lovers, Starbucks is literally in the same building. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Wi-Fi was a bit complicated. I felt housekeeping is a little understaffed as they would service the floors only once a day.
Great location, opulent shower room.
No parking option, or discount on local public car park.
good value for money, compared to other hotels in Paris
no restaurant in the hotel, which I consider as important on business trips
Very kind and helpful staff
Not a 4 star hotel. Small room, too dark, no light in the room. When paying 450 euro for a night, somebody would expect much more
Location was close to what I needed
Nothing to complain about
I have stayed at this hotel before and, excepting early morning knocking on the door despite a don't disturb sign, it was great. This time was different.
Firstly, the booking was made via booking.com for a Premier King Suite (site stated with bath & shower) for 3 people. When we arrived on Saturday afternoon, we were told our booking was for a Deluxe room for 2 people. The receptionist (who said she was temporary) said we had been upgraded to a Diamond suite (still without bath). As there was no manager available until Monday morning (!). We agreed to change to the correct room the next day. The next morning, I was half way through placing an order for breakfast in the room when I was told, "Is that it, I have people waiting at the desk I need to deal with". I decided to forget breakfast. I then tried to change rooms as had been agreed and was told by the receptionist (a different one) that she had not been advised of the agreement to change rooms. We agreed to keep the room. Upon returning to the hotel at 8pm the second night we found the bedding for the third person (my son) had been removed from the room. I asked the night receptionist/porter and was told there was nothing he could do as housekeeping had gone home. After much shouting, he came up with a duvet and we made do. In all our stay was a disaster, saved only by the initial low cost which was improved by a further 20% discount granted by the manager when we checked out. To be fair the manager was very understanding, helpful and apologetic but things like this should not happen in a four star hotel. Very disappointed with our stay this time.
The decor style. Size of the room The friendliness of the staff Location
The only negaitive was that a spill made by a previous visitor to the room was not cleaned up adequately
