Best Western Premier Opera Diamond

De ligging van het hotel was super, het lag in het centrum, naast een groot station. Omdat onze kamer niet aan de straatkant lag, hebben we ook helemaal geen last gehad van drukte en/of verkeer

De eerste nacht was het heel erg warm in onze hotelkamer. We hebben dit gemeld aan de nachtreceptionist, maar hij heeft hier niets aan gedaan. Vervolgens hebben we de ramen geopend, maar de receptionist heeft heel de nacht in de tuin met vrienden gezeten. We hebben dit de volgende ochtend gemeld aan de receptioniste en het probleem is toen wel opgelost en ze heeft haar excuses aangeboden.

Prachtig nieuw, design hotel, goede ligging t.o.z. van alles.

Comfortable bed in room, quiet room(206) overlooking central courtyard and proximity of hotel to grandes magasins

Breakfast arrangements rather poor. Dark black dimly lit contemporary design of room and corridors very interesting but completely useless when arriving in evening and trying to discover how to operate bathroom fittings and light switches etc.

Showers not so good, water falling around to the bathroom while on the shower.

The room was luxurious as the hotel has just been re-furbished and the staff were really helpful - eager to organise anything you needed. The location excellent (train station, metro, shops etc) really within walking distance of many sights.

The hotel was chiqeu, rooms were unusually spacious for Paris and staff very helpful. Wifi was at no additional cost.

The overall design,ambiance and staff

Unavailability of hot food available from room service. All the options were always cold eg. salads and sandwiches.I would recommend the normal rooms but I think the executive rooms do not offer any value for money there did not seem to be any "extra" facilities considering it is classed as a 4 star hotel.

Our overall experience in Opera was superior. The hotel design and quality of room were excellent. It was very close to a major metro station. The staff were all helpful (with one exception only). Because of medical emergency, they helped me identify the nearest dentist and give me full directions to the dentist's clinic.

The main negative thing is the lack of a curtin in the shower which causes water to go into the bathroom.

Opera Diamond was a trip unto it's self. From the moment I checked in, I felt as if I were the only one staying there. Climentina, and Phillippe were the true stars of this hotel. Almost everything was perfect when they where taking care of it.

Even thougth the room was new and clean. Housekeeping was a little lax.
