Everything excellent except poir wi-fi
I stayed in the superior room and it's comfortable for a couple. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The location is close to subways, coffees and nightlife.
Unfortunately the internet WiFi was very bad in my room. In the reception the internet was ok, but when I tried to turn on in my room the speed was 0.8 Mb/s. The 3G was faster than it.
The staff at Opera Frochot went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. 5 star people
Really excellent location and staff are very helpful if you ask for something but help is not exactly pro-offered so don't be shy about asking! Very clean and comfortable beds.
Quite small rooms for the price you pay and in a rather noisy area.
The hotel is near Pigalle metro station, Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coer and the Opera area of Paris in a quiet street in the Monmartre. The room was great, the staff just wonderful and price very reasonable. Would recommend this hotel
Hotel Opera Frochot is a fantastic hotel for use as a base to visit/explore Paris. It is exceptionally clean and neat, with a great vibe and quaint decor. The staff are undoubtedly the best I've experienced at any hotel, anywhere in the world! This was the main 'feature' that made staying at Opera Frochot such a lovely experience - Keep it up!! I will have no hesitations about staying at the hotel again.
The only 'negatives' were the location, in that it is situated in one of the smaller streets with a bit of 'vagrants activities' visible and then the general size of the rooms. I guess I'm accustomed to a more spacious hotel room, but I was informed that for Paris, the rooms at Opera Frochot are fairly spacious.
Fantastic value in an authentic Paris location. The enthusiastic young staff couldn't do enough for us.
wifi fiddly but serviceable
Location was great for us and we walked everywhere. Fab little restaurants and bistros nearby and great nightlife
Comfortable, quiet room on top floor away from the street. Not a lot of space but typical for Paris hotel rooms. Friendly and very helpful staff.
Although the bathroom was modern, clean and functional, the shower stall was smaller we would have liked.
The rooms smeeled of humidity or smoke, tried two. The carpets were stained. The hotel could do w a lift.
Staff is very friendly sayed and Adam location is excellent
Wi fi signals in the room is poor
We loved the hotel, the modern decor and the friendly, helpful staff! The area was great, with incredible restaurants.
Very clean and comfortable modern hotel. One can consider the room and the bathroom to be spacious, for paris hotel at least. We lived facing the street, and noise from the club outside was not an issue. However for light sleepers it could be a problem. The breakfast is served from 7 to 10, and it is good (eggs, sausages, bacon, 2kind of ham, various jams, Nutella, croissants, fromage, no salad and vegetables though). To resume:will stay again and recommend to the friends. And stuff was always polite and ready to help, not arrogant or rude or anything of that sort of thing. Opera frochot is good choice, if the pigalle clubs and bars nearby don't bother you,
Airconditioning is very good unlike all the other hotels in Europe.
The location of the hotel is in the red light district. I didn't know Paris has one.
The location is excellent, thought it's located at pigalle station, but not at the Main Street, away fr the hustle
The bed was extremely comfortable, we got a bath and a power shower, instant hot water. They give you towels and little bottles of stuff although we brought our own so I can't tell you if they were great but can't complain that they were there. Quite a few plug sockets if you're a tecky and a big telly with lots of channels, we managed to find bbc world news on it but I'm not sure if it's always there I think the signal changes. The staff were really smiley and friendly and we were given maps of paris on arrival and little candies on the pillow, even the cleaner was friendly, we said bonjour to her on our way out one morning. They speak english too which was great for us because our french is awful. The location of the hotel is absolutely brilliant, don't worry about all the sex shops around it there isn't anyone dodgy lurking around or anything. It is near quite a few bakeries and there's a supermarket just round the corner. It's right next to the moulin rouge and not too far away from any major attractions, we could walk to sacre couer and eiffel tower was only a few stops on the metro from there. We felt safe and cosy in the hotel and there's a bell outside if you come back late, but there's staff 24hrs and I only used the wifi once to check something but it was really fast. I couldn't tell you about the breakfast though because we couldn't afford it so we just got our own from the bakery round the corner.
The coffee machine wasn't free, 1.50 euros which was a bit gutting, but to be fair it is a posh nosh one so I can't really blame them and there's a maccies at the top so you won't die without it if you are a fellow caffeine monster. Overall price could be a little bit cheaper, especially for breakfast. To improve I'd say to give one of those cheapy kettles in the room so we could make our own coffee but that is literally all I can think to fault. The rooms aren't big but it's paris you won't find a massive room for a cheap price and it's got everything you need. I would definitely stay there again.
Location great for metro and train almost direct from the airport. Clean and basic. Stayed here a couple of times
You have to pay for the coffee in the room, 1E50 for a capsule. However, there are supermarkets and cafes right outside so you can buy your own
Staff we're friendly. Hotel was very clean. Good location.
A fantastic location - the hotel is very close to Pigalle metro so getting around is easy & a great little bus goes up to Sacre coeur from the square nearby. The area does have a few sex shops etc but does not feel unsafe at all. The hotel is small, quiet & comfortable & staff extremely helpful - they have an extensive list of very good local restaurants.
Breakfast was not included & is a little expensive but if you don't want to eat out it is a good option. It would be great to have tea making facilities in rooms as well as coffee.
Location very central. Great customer experience: clean room, calm nights, excellent service.
Great location, cosy hotel. Staff were lovely and the room was very clean and comfortable. Nothing bad to say!
Really friendly efficient staff Great location for restaurants and bars
The shower was very poor it was a hand held one
Very nice staff at the reception; cosy cafés and restaurants at the nearby rue des matyres; walking-distance to moulin rouge and sacré coeur
In the night it was often very loud, not only outside but also inside the building due to very thin walls.
The hotel was ideally based 2 minutes walk form Pigalle and a short walk from both Sacre Cœur, as well as the Lafayette Galleries. The room was spacious and clean, with modern design and the bed extremely comfortable. Our room had a window overlooking the back of the hotel, therefore isolated from the noisy street.
There was a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, but was disappointing to see that there was no free daily allowance of coffee. A bit cheeky I thought in view of the price. My husband and I were visiting Paris for a second time and as we had seen quite a lot last time, were in no rush to get up early in the morning. Now, each morning we had the cleaners going into the room next door, speaking loudly and banging the hoover on the wall as well as our front door. Not a great experience when you want a lazy and peaceful morning.
Size of the room. A table in the room you can work on with computer and still have space to spread your document.
