Location and kindness of the people in hotel
The location is good and the staff were very helpful and kind.
The furnitures were outdated. Room was small and was not very clean.
Small and clean Location Tea and coffee making in rooms full maids service
Lift is tiny, not good as we were returning from long-haul flight and bag too large and heavy, we were on 5th floor Stairs really narrow and winding so difficult access
very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and quiet room. Comfortable bed free wifi connection
The room is too small and everything was cramped
Good location. Normal breakfast. Helpful staff. Cleanliness.
The room and hotel were in a really good shape. One can see that they are taking care of renovating and fixing things in the rooms when it is required (not the case in all hotels!). Clean. Next to St Lazare station, so very convenient
You will still need earplugs because of the street and maybe a neighbour snoring, but really it was not loud at all. Some more stuff need to be replaced or renovated, but overall it was a nice hotel well taken care of.
The Reception staff - especially Ali and a lady whose name I do not know - were so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. They made one feel at home, instantly. The hot chocolate powder was pretty good too!
The noise from the street - however, we were in central Paris!
I stayed there for 3 hours only since the flight got delayed and needed a place to crash at for few hours before the rescheduled flight.
1) The elevator is too small that it fits only one person and you have to wait for it for some time in order to get it if others are waiting ahead of you. I won't fit a wheelchair and wouldn't be to suitable for people with disability. 2) The cleanliness of the room is below standards and the room smells with strange odors and dust. 3) The room need an complete renovations, the wallpaper is falling and the furniture are barely holding it together. 4) Totally not recommended unless you are out of options
- small elevator - inability to fix a reading lamp for 3 days
The location was pretty ok, the station, st lazare was about 10mins walk. The wifi in the room was probably the best thing. 15mins walk from gallery lafayette was also a plus factor.
It gets less ideal when night falls. There were groups of people hanging around near the station & nearby.
Everything was awesome. I havent seen a person like Mr Ali the manager of the hotel.. His service and hishelp made our journey excellent. The hotel is 300 metres away of lafayette and near to the opera. Very good price comparing to other hotels nearby. I want to expresd my gratitude again to Mr ali...Thank you
perfect location, really close to everything including the St. Lazare metro station which has a mall in it where you can find restaurants and stores. The personale there was always willing to help you and give directions and reccomendations.
Really small elevator
Very handy for all modes of transport. very clean, plenty of hot water an comfy bedding.
Struggling to find a fault but decor a little tired.
The staff really made our stay comfortable . Toilet in room needed to be replaced during stay . On the last night and departure day the lift was out of order we were on the 5th floor staff carried our bags for us thank goodness phone to reception not working last 24hrs there . For us a safety issue . Because the staff we exceptional I would stay there again .
The location The staff The wifi
Room was quite stuffy
Friendly helpful staff & nice facilities
small room, small breakfast room
We were very happy with the location, being only a short walk to the main city shopping area, tourist bus depot and well known nightlife attractions, and even closer to the train and subway. The reception staff were extremely knowledgeable about any subject a first timer to the city like us had, and nothing seemed too much trouble to them. They were excellent!
We requested a room at the back of the hotel with the idea of being away from any road noise, but the noise from the old lift can be a little annoying in the early hours.
The location is next to St Lazarre train and metro station thus you can access virtually the entire city in minutes. The staff was the most helpful of any hotel that I have stayed at! Excellent continental breakfast.
The rooms are small as expected in Paris unless you want to spend a fortune and a one person elevator. We used the stairs for exercise.
A small but really friendly hotel. Ali and the other staff at the desk were really helpful and couldn't have been more welcoming. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from L'Opera and two minutes from two Metro stations, Saint-Lazare and Liege. We went to a little restaraunt one night 100m up the street from the hotel at a cafe called Le Milan, run by Daniel & his wife. They were so friendly and made our night. Paris does not have to be expensive, our evening meal for two was 40 Euro. We decided to book our breakfast each night at the hotel, and it was well worth it. Again, the staff were friendly and the meal set us up for our long walks in this beautiful city. We hope sometime to visit Opera Deauville again!
Nothing, not an opulent hotel, but clean, warm, well sited and really friendly!
Friendly staff Location
Pictures suggest much higher quality than in reality Terrible elevator Tiny rooms Low spec in rooms and bathroom Very slow wifi (less than 1 mbit)
The hotel rooms need a dam good clean top to bottom all the rooms a complete refurbishment
Central to everything. Secure parking at reasonable rates. Staff very helpful and friendly.
staff helpful despite lift not working.
lift not working
