Situation in the middle of the village
Smell in bathroom. I asked for a quiet room. I was given a room on the street. I should have moved but couldn't be bothered! Double glazed windier didn't close properly!!
Family run hotel!
I did not have heat for few days.
Great location- close to beautiful yacht port and restaurants. Charming! Town Saint Jean Cap Ferrat is brilliant. Walking distance to Villa Ephrussi.
So different - a character hotel
Owner and her son were extremely helpful and for the price of accommodation, it's location in St Jean is perfect.
Very Helpful Staff who will try to help you at all times.
A tired building in need of TLC!!
Clean pleasant airy rooms in great location
A bit of traffic noise but not an issue
Delightful owner. This is a characterful hotel. Not luxurious but there is something totally charming about it. We just stayed for the one night but would do so again. A little quirkiness is no bad thing.
It is a great place
The look of the small hotel is very nice and lovely, really french and fitting to Southern France. The atmosphere is informal and friendly. The hotel is very well located in the center of St. Jean Cap Ferrat, right at the small harbor. The village is very beautiful and good for swimming, boating and enjoing the sea and the culinarily culture of the Cote d Azur.
Ideal place to chill and explore the Cap Old style rooms with big windows
"enthusiastic" neighbour in adjacent room
We had one of the large front bedrooms with a view of the marina and square (and aircon) and it was fantastic. Shabby chic, lovely owners and we loved it. Worth checking the room size, room location and if it has aircon as I'm not sure they all do but to stay in the middle of Cap Ferat is superb.
Nice owner and great location. Even without A/C the value was excellent.
The guy at reception spoke good English and was very helpful and allowed us to keep our heavy bags even after checkout so we could walk around a bit. The place is unique with interesting furniture. Any other hotel in this area is much more expensive.
In a hospitality environment obsessed with uniformity L'Oursin stands out with its Gallic charm and individuality.Exceptionally placed for walks ,beach and restaurants.
the position is really fantastic the room is really old fashion but with a lot of charme. the staff was very helfull
