Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée    

Todo me ha gustado, excelente hotel.

Que no este incluido el desayuno en el precio del hotel.

Excelente ubicacion Amabilidad del personal hacia los huespedes que no escatinaban esfuerzos para satisfacer las necesidadesde los huespedes de comunicacion por el idioma . Limpieza y mantenimientos del Hotel excelente Nuestra resevacion fue por 5 noches nos gusto tanto que nos quedamos ocho noches

Very comfortable hotel with a good location.

The location was perfect. The room was lovely and comfortable. Nice is beautiful.

The concierge (there were several) were very nice and tried to be helpful, but were not well-informed about several things: 1. Where to eat - we were sent to a perfectly awful restaurant. 2. How to return a rental car to the train station 3. Did not know that some shops were open on a holiday.

Nice Bathroom Deluxe Room Excellent

The Palais de la Mediterranee is a true five star hotel, quite unlike some of the so called 5 star hotels you find throughout Europe. It is modern, clean, stylish and spacious. The facilities are first class, with a terrific indoor/outdoor pool on the third floor, a reasonable gym and on the 6th floor (a little strange why separated), is a steam room and sauna facility. You step right out the front door onto the main road that runs along the beach. The old town of Nice is virtually right behind the hotel. There are tons of restaurants to chose from. I wouldn't come here for a beach holiday if you are used to the sandy beaches of Asia, Australia etc. The rooms are great and we had a room on the top floor directly facing the beach, overlooking the pool courtyard. The staff are incredibly friendly. In fact I think there has been a major shift in attitudes in France to tourists. It used to be that if you didn't speak French, the people could be a bit rude. I have not found any such attitude on this trip, in fact quite the opposite. From the taxi drivers, to the restaurant owners to the hotel staff, they have all been incredibly friendly and helpful. It is interesting to note that the Hyatt has recently taken over management of the hotel.

Location on promenade des Anglais and near pedestrian precinct area of shops, quiet air-con, large room, bathroom and separate toilet, comfortable bed, in room free wifi, good quality bathroom lotions (Anick Goutal), very friendly and helpful concierge, inside/outside heated pool at a good temperature (lovely on a cold day!), good food in their restaurant on 3rd floor. Happy to stay here again.

A minor point is be careful if you have a wet floor in the bathroom, as it is very slippery. I thought the breakfast was overpriced, and the hot food was just ok.

On arrival the hotel staff made you feel so welcome; we had a room at the back and it was so quiet with lovely views over the city. It's an easy walk into old Nice from the hotel - fabulous

Nice hotel. I wouldn't say it is luxurious but still 5 star.

The only thing not up to standards was room service: food was OK, but just OK (and OK food is not what one expects from a 5-star hotel in Nice, France). Still waiter was cute and nice

Location, rooms are quite new, staff friendly, good food

Although the rooms are said to be recently renovated, in bathroom there was a smell of spoilt water. Also, shower tube looked as though it has been in use for many years.

Convenient location 'old town', seafront, markets, pavement cafes.

All the staff we met we smiling,courteous,helpful and available to answer your questions,they knew about the services offered by the hotel and Nice.The level of spoken english was excellent.The terrace by the swimming pool was quite delightful for breakfast,all'aperto,the atmoshere and service in the bar at night was very pleasant.The whole atmosphere was such that you felt you would like to repeat the experience.

Full payment was taken up front,requesting signed photo copies of credit cards.

I reserved for one week I hade to check out after 3 day they charged for 7 days

We enjoyed the whole experience of staying at the Palais ds la Mediterranee. Chose a Superior non-smoking seaview room which was fantastic. The location was brilliant - on the Promenade des Anglais and right opposite an on-the-beach cafe with comfy chairs and a spectacular view. Luxury without ostentation - unlike another hotel on the Promenade!!!

Loved everything

Palais de la Mediterranee is perfeclty okay. It's nothing special - it's like any business hotel and could be in any city.

Everything was fine, its just nothing special.

The location is very good.

The Mini-Bar is far tooo expensive. Even if you compare it with other 5 star hotels within Nice and Montecarlo. There was no porter at the neterance to take the luggage.
