I loved the location and the convenience surrounding the Adagio Monaco Palais Joséphine, seriously it couldn't get better. I loved that fact the the walk to the casino and other tourist attractions took my brother and I around 5 minutes, and what a pleasant walk it is.
I found the staff overall very despondent. I know the French has that reputation, but I feel at times that their nonchalant attitude precedes them!!! Not very helpful, which begs my question, if you don't enjoy servicing clients, why choose it as your vocation?? The gentleman at the front desk with the pony tail, I found quite condescending. I could not work out the shower and rang for his assistance. He arrived on time, but was completely disengaging, The shower was faulty, he apologised for the fact but made no effort to do something about it. He simply demonstrated how to use the shower and left in a flash. I asked one of the ladies at the front desk to print out my electronic ticket and her eyes simply rolled at the back of her head...Seriously! I guess I am blessed I love my vocation, hence I do not relate to such attitude.
The room is spacious, breakfast is quite delicious, the towel exchange lady is friendly, good location and the bathroom is large
Towel heater didn't work, parking was hard to find and fairly expensive
Fantastic location, friendly staff, clean room, good Wi-Fi,
There is no parking for check in and out, small kitchen.
The location is very close to the center of the city. Rooms are very big. There is free wi-fi in the rooms
Rooms are very old and look like dirty. The toilet is very far from the bathroom and there is not a sink in the toilet. So you must go to the bathroom after the toilet to wash your hands. And also very expensive when you compare to the quality
Baroque style buiiding 10 minute walk downhill to centre and port area. Lovely reasonably priced restaurants close by. Reception staff and chap overseeing breakfast room very helpful and friendly. Rooms a good size - ours had a lounge area with sofa bed, TV and balcony, bedroom, separate kitchen and good size bathroom. Lovely breakfast room - light and airy. Nice breakfast although boiled eggs only hot food. We would certainly have no hesitation in staying here again due to situation. Lift exit to underground carpark close to hotel.
Monaco is a busy area with lots of one way streets and very few spaces to park or even pull over. It would have been helpful if the map to the car park was on the web site or emailed with the booking confirmation.
Suited our needs for why we were vistng.
No world news in english and wi-fi rubbish. Only the young man who was there on our arrival was any help.
Lovely little spot. Staff were lovely and friendly and the room was perfect for our needs. Will definately recommed to others.
I didn't want to leave xx
The rooms need refreshing - the furnishings are rather poor.
Good location right next to Monaco - walking distance to everything. Great price for Monaco area.
Kitchen Smelled of curry and couldn't get rid of smell. Apartment was a bit old looking but for price was fine.
Location and space. Very comfortable with everything that you need. Having access to free Wi-Fi also a bonus
The staff most helpful. Simple decor but well equipped inc dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave etc. Excellent TV set but only Frence & Italian.Would recommend for a stop over at a sensible price but many steps down to front so need to be fit.
We chose this property for the swimming pool only to find it Closed 30th Sept.Had Booking.com mentioned this we would have booked a week earlier. The weather was hot so rather a shame.Town location so only view would be from the rooftop pool.Limited choice continental breakfast not good value but s.c. Or local Cafe no problem.
The location was excellent-just minutes from Monaco and in a lovely little area. Parking a bit tricky but just under the building with access from a different road. All in all a lovely-will be returning in November.
The location was excellent. We were within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We had a studio apartment so had plenty of space and a great sized terrace with a view of the sea. The apartment was clean and the reception staff were very helpful. The parking was very convenient and right next to the hotel. Just a little tricky to find. Wifi was good. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so I can't comment on that but overall if we come back to the area we would stay at the same hotel.
The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The vanity was a little rotted in one corner due to water from the shower.
Big rooms and many beds. Location was great and the rooftop pool is a plus..!
Nice place and facility
Great value for money and excellent location. 10mins to casino down the hill and 7 mins to the tourist bus stop for seeing the sights of Monaco.
Nothing. It was good value for money and reception staff were excellent.
Proximity to the center of MC , reception desk staff were very nice & helpful (except one of them ), room at the fifth floor was nice and pleasant furbished with everything that you needed - microwave oven , iron , dish washer , a small fridge .
Before giving us the room at the fifth floor , they gave us one at the second floor , were it was not renovated , the corridor unclean with dirty carpet on the floor , the room was very small (impossible to capacitate 3 people there despite the fact that the reservation was for 3 ) extremely noisy - you could hear all the buzz from the bars outside the hotel . When we refused the room , they gave us another one at the fifth floor that was much better, this floor being renovated . Another bad aspect was the fact that they were doing renovation at the parking of the hotel , and the car that I had was dusty & dirty every day - I washed it almost daily .
Location was thriving and within easy walking distance of casino and restaurants. Large airy room with good facilities. Friendly helpful staff with good knowledge.
Parking a problem.
The rooms were lpovely and big, everyhting was relatively modern and the location is excellent, you cant get any closer to monaco without going over the border
When we arrived, as i didnt have my confirmation in my hand the lady proceded to check in the fmaily behind us instead, seemingly because they spoke french and we didnt. Secondly our rooms did not get cleaned once during our stay as the cleaner did not turn up until 6pm on the first evening and we were back at the room getting ready for the evening. On the next evening they did not arrive at all and we had to call for clean towels and loo roll. We also got stuck in the lift, the second set of lifts that we had to take just to go down one floor. The lay out is awful the corridors and lifts were so unbelievably hot and then when we pressed the alarm whilst stuck in the lift the reception start were heard laughing at us. Not impressed at all
Hot, tired corridors and lifts. Slow inefficient check in. Being told to come back at 4 and getting room at 5.45 after bring given keys and the cleaner still finishing refusing entry and having to wait in stuffy hot seedy looking corridor. Swimming pool furniture dated and broken. Filthy stairwells. WiFi awful. Noisy in early hours outside. Broken air con. Sofa bed not suitable for adult.
The apartment was like an ash tray! Cleaners could do a better job. I have booked a non smoking apartment through Booking.com.the hotel was fully booked and could not find another apartment when I requested to move.
A small apartment which is enough for 4 persons to stay for a couple of days. Close To the city centre.
They informed us that there is a parking with slots available for the customers. However, they finally said that their slots are fully booked and there is no special price left. Bulls..t. We went to the parking since there was nothing else available (nice guys and negotiated the prices for bikes - 2 for 1) and the area for the hotel is still... under construction.
The location is excellent for visiting Monaco and they offer rooms/apartment units that can accommodate families. Pool was satisfactory and view was nice from pool deck.
They apparently have a policy under which a guest who stays 4 nights gets no clean towels, no maid service, no trash pick up. When we asked for a few clean towels, the front desk was incredibly rude and snide. Parking was a bit tricky to find and we received no instructions as to location of their lot prior to arrival. It was daunting trying to unload luggage while getting screamed at and honked at by local vehicles.
