the employees and the owner are so nice and welcoming!
Offering views of the mountains and the Mont Blanc, La Portette B&B features mountain-like accommodations with a furnished terrace. Free ski and luggage storage and free Wi-Fi are provided.
Located in the characteristic Savoyard village of La Côte d’Aimé, this B&B offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and mountain views. Guests can sample French cuisine in the on-site restaurant with a terrace.
It was way too crowded. The placement of the lifts is illogical. There are no staff ensuring that the lift lines are organized/efficient, so even though they have high-speed 8-person lifts, many go up with 4 people on them despite a big line of people waiting to get on. The purpose-built 1970s architecture leaves you feeling like you spent your holiday in a shopping mall rather than in the mountains.

Aime is a good place for a biking holiday.
Aime is a good place for a biking holiday. A number of rides leave from the town, and a bike path (voie verte) links Aime with the larger town of Bourg Saint Maurice. A number of restaurants, but it is important to book, because they fill up quickly.
