The clean, air conditioned room and the location of the hotel. The walls were a little thin and you could hear others in the hotel. |

the hotel is very conveniently located less than a block from gare lyon and the metro. it's an easy walk to notre dame and the left bank, too. price is reasonable. room decor is classic 19C french but facilities are modern. we arrived in the morning - as do many visitors from overseas - and were hoping to check into our room and rest. that has been pretty standard practice on many previous visits to europe. however, there were no rooms ready and the staff seemed somewhat put out when i asked to be notified if a room became available prior to the normal check-in time. to her credit, she got us into a room 2 hrs before normal check-in. we just could have done without the 'attitude'. a polite 'no' would have been better than a rude 'maybe'. |

Very convienent to the Gare de Lyon train station. Hotel staff responded promptly to e-mail requests pre-arrival and the front desk staff was efficient and provided good information in response to our questions. |

The hotel is merely a few minutes walking distance away from Gare du Lyon and even much nearer to the metro. Easy accessible to all areas. Room for two is quite big. Anyway bigger than a number of rooms I have stayed before. Staff friendly and try to be helpful. Eventhough staff try to be helpful and spoke english but their knowledge of the area is really limited. Breakfast for Eur7.50 per person is not worth it, but we took 3 times out of the 5 nights we stayed there for convenient sake. Bathroom is extremely small. |

We wanted a hotel close to the Gare de Lyon. This hotel was ideally located in a relatively quiet street within easy walking distance of the station. The free internet service was a bonus The floor was not as clean as it could have been, but the rest oif the room was fine |

Good facilities with good value of money compared to other 2 star hotel in Paris. Location is convinent for transportation by train in Gare Lyon. smell of smoking in the room. Environment seems not very safe close to Gare Lyon. |

The hotel was clean and the room for 4 was larger than expected. We had a king bed with 2 twin cots and still had room to walk around. The location was excellent: close to the metro and plenty of places to eat and a grocery store. A refrigerator would have made it more like an American hotel. But the grocery store was just around the block and convient enough to pick up something every day. |

Clearly exceeded expectations; best value for money, spacious room for 2* hotel, excellent location close to Metro, RER, CDG Shuttle, plenty of places to eat nearby; very comfortable bed; free internet worked well. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Walls are thin and you could hear your neighbours clearly; bathroom amenities are rather poor; you should wait for hot water for some time (I was on 6th floor) |

Stayed one night en route to Nice so very handy for Gare de Lyon and TGV. While in Paris for one day, we took opportunity to visit Louvre - excellent. Loved Paris. Just a little street noise at night. |

Location was great!! Only a few mins from Gare de Lyon station. The room was small but comfortable. The air-conditioner was centrally controlled so we couldn't adjust the temperature the way we wanted. |

The location of the Palym close to the Gare de Lyon makes it very accessible and it is easy to travel around Paris from this location. There are also good restaurant close by. We were disappointed that the only tea/coffee making facilities were in the foyer of the hotel and an additional cost. We believe that we would have been better off paying more for a hotel that had these facilities available in the room as a part of the total cost. |

It is conviniently close to the train station and metro. Continental breakfast was good. Clean. Not much soundproof when noisy neighbors return to their room. |

A little gem for the price. I had a single room, with a fireplace no less ... not a working fireplace, but it made the room attractive and cozy. Decor soft and welcoming. Bathroom very adequate for one person at a time. I'll surely stay again. |
