Very friendly owners, good food and a nice spacious room for the four of us. Quiet location it is, and maybe too remote from the village facilities, but we did not mind.

It was a great hotel but 50 years ago, well located - only half hour to Governie

Far away from city restaurants - if you wouldn't like to use hotel restaurant (next to it small building) you are in problem.

Nice comfortable old hotel with a character overlooking mountains, next to spa baths. Very close to Gavarnie. The breakfast was very good.

The food at the dinner was not good, eat in town if possible.

Very nice period hotel in the Quartier des Thermes (and thus not near the services of the town). Good views, quiet location, plus the best wifi connection and freshest, most delicious breakfast buffet of our trip. They have their own parking area. There are nice walks up the hillside from here to springs and plunging waterfalls; also to the Pont Napoleon and along the Promenade Napoleon into town. Excellent location for accessing the high Pyrenees and the Gavarnie and Troumouse Cirques.

In our room, the bathroom was a modern prefab pod squeezed into the corner of the room - not for large people or if you need space to move around in!
