Hôtel du Panthéon  

Location was great - easy walking distance to most tourist spots, metro stations and many nearby restaurants and bars. Breakfast in the vault room was very good and a good buffet. Staff were very friendly - would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is decorated in traditional Parisien style. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are good value for money with plenty to eat and start your day in Paris. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. This is our second stay at this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The appearance and interior decoration. The friendliness of the staff in particular the breakfast lady and the receptionist on our arrival. We were up-graded to a superior room with a beautiful view of the Pantheon and Paris.

We were recommended a local restaurant as we had missed our original reservation. This restaurant is not to be recommended. Food very mediocre for the price and owner inexcusibly rude.

Great hotel, great service, pleasurable staff and perfect location. Very clean and organized rooms.

Room's coffee/tea kit was one thing I really missed. Also there is no television stations in Russian.

Super place and super people. Really enjoyed our time at the Hotel du Pantheon. The location cannot be beaten and only a walk to the river. Ideal for the RER from the airports too (Luxembourg station). We'll be back.

We really loved the room. It was rather big, nice design, separate bathroom and toilet. The view from the window was fantasic! You won't find old furniture there and no smell of old building. Breakfast was fine: yogurt, creaps, friut, cheese and ham and bread of course. The staff was very nice and helpful.

1. Great location - walk to Latin Qr and Notre Dame 2. Close to RER station to CDG airport (after you figure out how to get large luggage through the RER turnstiles and gates and no escalators! - dreadful!) 3. Quaint, old-style, but v nice. 4. Staff v. nice and friendly and spoke excellent English to us. 5. Blanket in duvet cover - not duvet - Great! 6. Good breakfast - worth getting for €13

1. Lift was broken during our stay. However, it was being worked on at the time and was temporary. However, our room was on the 6th floor and it would have been impossible for us to carry our luggage upstairs up a spiral stairway without assistance from porters. As a mature couple, we were also pretty puffed by the time we got up to the room.

Very noisy, day and night. Traffic has gotten much worse over the years and now includes great number of large motorcycles. Rooms which overlook the square (and have the better views) are also in full smack of rushing traffic and early morning garbage collection. Be careful to avoid La Nuit Blanche (was it October 1st?) when Paris stays up all night and rabble rouses, practically right under your windows. Street lighting can interfere with sleep unless you close the thick curtains and block the movement of air. Mattresses were soft. Prices were very high.
