The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. This is an ok budget quality hotel. The hotel was very difficult to find. We spent 2hours driving around and the address on the website is not recognised in Google or gps. The bed was on a slope and it was like sleeping with your legs elevated. We went for Breakfast quite late in the morning and it was nearly all gone. |

The restaurant's chef and waiters are very friendly and the food is rather good, probably the best available in Briancon (out of the five we visited). The location is excellent for visiting the city's centre and environs (Izoard; Lautaret; Nevache), but not for visiting the Vauban quarter. Despite announcements, Wifi is only available in lounge, not in the rooms. The restaurant's waste is put outside with lots of noise around midnight, and picked up in the early morning with even more noise. Windows should really be shut, but since there is no airco, this would make rooms too hot (in Summer). The carpeting is dirty throughout the hotel, room and bathroom amenities are not up to three stars. Unfortunately, Briancon does not appear to have better offerings. |

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodated our requests. The buffet breakfast was of good quality, although the choice of fruit decreased each day. The location was excellent for getting to the ski lift. The Alsacian restaurant attached to (but not part of) the hotel was very good It was quite basic for the price; similar to a Travelodge or Premier Inn. There were only two small pillows (i.e. one each) and no hairdryer (although I noticed later that another guest had borrowed one from reception. There was also no storage space in the room so we had to live out of suitcases. |

Arrived 24th Dec to be told that parking was no longer free despite my booking saying so and the restaurant was closed that day and the following day! The room was in serious need of renovation, grubby, stained carpets, walls, with a view of a wall, We had to spend Christmas day trying to find somewhere else to stay! |

We were in a room in which the sewage smelled, but the staff was very helpful and they gave us immediately another room which was fine. Very kind of them |
