To me--being a railway buff -was to enjoy ample breakfast in a pretty garden patio with full view of station movements

my main reason to stay was onward travel, so the location of this hotel was great. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the hotel was comfortable and clean and was actually being refurbished and done over in some areas. i had an early train so did not try the breakfast but the dining room looked quite cosy. i would stay again if i had to pass through town in future travels.

It's a small hotel just opposite the Perpignan train station which is perfect if one is in transit especially as one has to leave around 7.30am to connect with the "Little Yellow Train" through the Pyrenees. It does not have a lift/elevator. There are alterations taking place.

Convenience at a good price. The road works at the station were a nuisance but this was not the fault of the hotel.

Allan, the manager, was very helpful. Excellent location across the street from the rain station. Wifi was not accessible in the room, but worked fine in the lobby.

I wanted a place close to the railway station and not too dear - and the hotel was just right for me. The room was comfortable and the staff were warm and friendly.

Friendly staff and excellent location for railway station Lack of air conditioning. Overall very dated. It clearly was top of the market once, but that was a long time ago. It is very clean and for a one night stay (in cool weather) it is fine. But it is stuck somewhere in 1975.

We thought it was awful and will certainly not stay there again. No lift, and we were put on 2nd floor. No tea/coffee in room. Bed far too small. No air conditioning. Bedroom far too small. Price way over the standard of facilities. There are new hotels at the station, which are not much more expensive but are way ahead in standard, so Paris-Barcelone's main asset of being near the station is not so relevant.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and suited our needs. We had an early train to catch and the situation was very convenient for that, being right across the road from the hotel. The public areas of the hotel were quite pleasant but the decor of the upstairs and the rooms could do with a little updating. The staff were pleasant and helpful and I have no complaints. The decor in the upstairs hallways and the bedrooms could do with an update.

Availability of room from midday. Proximity to railway station. Quietness of the bedroom.Cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Breakfast and taxes included in the price. Ease of booking online. Friendly, helpful staff. There was no shower curtain over the bath to prevent soaking the floor.

The breakfast was nice plain and simple (tea/coffee, crossiant, bread roll), the location for me was great just opposite the train station as I was only passing through the town really. And it was only 15minute walk from the center of town The tv was really small. The room was abit stuffy and they had a fan and the window opened which helped

My wife and I wanted a hotel near to the railway station, and this hotel fitted this perfectly, we were able to travel around visiting other towns/villages on our own itenery. The hotel itself was quiet, comfortable, accessible to the town, ie, restaurants, shops etc. We would stay at this hotel again, if we visit this area again, particularly by train. We like this style of hotel, nice ambience, and very friendly staff. Also, having an English speaking person, does help somewhat.

The staff were delightful, took a personal interest in our jaunts via the new/oldtransport hub directly opposite our hotel. The new tgv station adjoining the old (still functioning) gare is so easy to get to via the underpass, as is the new Bus station from which 1 euro buses took us up into the hills round Mount Canigou. This hotel suited us perfectly as we needed a base from which we could easily get to the main resorts on the coast and inland. The area round the stations (on both sides of the tracks) is still being developed, and Ave.General de Gaulle the main approach into town is undergoing massive roadworks. This street seems a little seedy but we had no probs at all and the Mediterranne internet cafe is very close. Can't wait to go again.... The twin-bed room had no cupboards, hence possessions strewn all over the table and part of floor. The room was not properly cleaned for the 9 nights we stayed, an attempt could have been made to sweep the bathroom and hoover the carpet.

It was very close to the railway station, therefore ideal for people like us, staying in Perpignan to catch a train the following morning. The room and bathroom were clean, and I liked the Catalan touches in the way the dining room was furnished. There was nothing wrong with it, but nothing particularly exciting either. I must stress, however, that it does what it is supposed to do: provide no-frills accommodation to people travelling by train. In that sense, I found it perfectly adequate.
