Close to metro station; 24-hour reception; warm water/room;
no hair-dryer; no elevator;
Perfectly OK place to sleep and shower.
reception staff courteous and helpful; even offered to help with luggage; quiet neighbourhood; 14 good minutes of walking from Gare Paris Bercy (reasonable proximity to train station);
breakfast not ready at 7 am as promised; bathroom design awkward and incredibly tight; room, as expected, short on space
Smallest room I've ever been. Smallest bathroom!!!!!!! No elevator! Scary at night. Nobody knows English. Never coming back
Tiny room with street view. Fourth floor with no elevator. Minimal toiletries supplied and then not every day. Room not serviced one through oversight. Staff courteous but were hassled to pay in advance. Breakfast usual coffee croissant bread jam and orange juice reasonable for paris
Dirty and needs renovation.
Value, staff, clean, bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi worked, but low bandwidth (slow) and not secure.
Noisy at night except for the middle of the night. "well used" condition, but clean.
Very, very old and small. They asked 20euro/night for two kids (2 & 4 years) sleping in our beds in a tripleroom !
Proximity to Bercy Station for autotrain. Friendly hotel staff.
Very small triple rooms. Whole place needs modernising and a really good clean. No air conditioning.
* The staff are very friendly and helpful, * breakfast not ample but at reasonable price
* bathroom too small, only one plug connection in the whole room, none in the bathroom * toilet not cleaned upon arrival, shower not cleaned as well during 3 nights-stay * at streetside noisy * no airco
Very good location, close to Gare de Lyon and Bercy and metro. Lively area of Paris. Pleasant staff and good value for money.
We were looking for a place to stay for one night and Hotel Paris Bercy seemed like a good place as any. What surprised us was the neighborhood as we felt more safe than ever in Paris when we walked home after dark. Next to the hotel is one of my favorite new restaurant discoveries which gives the place a huge plus. The staff didn't really speak English but you were able to manage with basic English and hand gestures.
The location is a bit far off from the train stations and one has to take a metro (or two) to get in. The stairs to the room were narrow and small so for those with luggage it might be tricky to get the stuff up, backpackers will be fine. The room was a bit old, a bit loud but serves the purpose.
All the staff are so kind
Sometimes wifi doesn't work
-friendly staff -free wifi
-rooms too small -difficult to carry large luggage up narrow spiral staircases
Terrible smell, old carpets, dirty in general. No elevator. Do not go if any trouble going up on stairs. WiFi ok but very limited.
No Metro station nearby. No lift, some corridor lights didn't work and no sink plug in bathroom
for the price the service was in overall ok
the bathroom was really dirty. I didn't matter but for those who like modern fashion hotels keep your way
Really close of the Gare de Lyon
No wifi unfortunately
Everything, its a dungeon with no lift. It will be the biggest blunder of your life if you stay there. The bedcover was dirty and dusty. Basically everything that can go wrong with the hotel is present there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The price was attractive. The internet accessibity was a plus.There was tennis tournament in Paris and almost all hotels were reserved. I had no choice.
The staff didnt know English so they couldn't help me especially on recommending the sightseeing places,reservations for museums or entertainments, or directions for metro web.It was a fifteen minutes walking distance to the nearest metro station Deumesnil, but in the web page this info wasnt given. I had to get in a taxi and found it after a thirty minutes trip around Gare de Lyon. Staff wasnt interested in guests, and the cleaningwoman did try to unlock my door twice while I was inside.she didn't even knock on tbe door.there was a strange smell inside They didnt help me while I am trying to climb upstairs with my heavy luggage, they didnt on the way back either. The owner was an unfriendly old Algerian and the hotel looked nice outside with some flowers on the windows but inside was looking like the hotels in Laleli, Aksaray -Istanbul. Only the waiter,who has been a graduate student and a part time employee there, knew A bit English and was eager to help me patiently about designatig sightseeing places and metro.On the very first day the person at the desk directed me on the wrong way so that I had to get on a taxi again to be at the meeting place on time.Parisien people do not not the metro roundabout or neighbourhood.Elite Parisiens, especially young people r so friendly.
Walls are not soundproof at all, furniture very outdated. Rooms are small and bathroom is not so clean, towels look like they have been used 1000 times. Staff is very friendly.
WiFi very slow - couldn't download maps or anything useful Breakfast very poor value - 6 Euro for a croissant, tiny juice, and cold coffee
For the money I spent on my staying it was good. The location is very good with very close public transport possibilities. Shops and good restaurants at walking distance in every direction. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The room was tiny, the bathroom was incredibly small and tight. The power plug (only one!!!) was next to the entrance door and 20 cm from the floor! No lift and very narrow stairs.
It was somewhere to sleep, no problem. Only stayed 6 hours!
Not incredibly convenient for Gare de Lyon; a 15-20 minute brisk walk.
So many thing Staf not friendly Room lousy Room very small Very isolated
