Location, location, location! Close to metro and to Marais. Quite nice staff speaking many languages. Gay friendly!
Rooms are small and last time decorated twenty years ago. Bed linen dirty and we were really afraid to walk on the carpet without socks. Toilet really small and shower dirty with black spots
Location, train station is very close and loads of reaturants around. staff were great and very helpful
The rooms are very tiny especially the bathrooms. The heating is only on in the evenings so mid morning and afternoons it's very cold in the rooms as heating is on very low. When we arrived we had no towels in our room the next day we was given dirty towels. The curtains were all stained and the cover on the end of the bed was stained. We had a frequent smell in the room and hallway of smoke. The shower is a hand held shower which is very annoying.
Location was excellent and two of the staff I encountered were lovely
The person who checked me out on my last day was horrible and very rude
Friendly and helpful staff, great location. Clean and quiet. We had a great stay here. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.
Parking is a nightmare, but that goes for anywhere in Paris so is not a reflection on the hotel.
Good size room for 3 adults and a child. Promptness of action when the shower was blocked. Close to metro and places to eat.
The shower curtain desperately need changing - it was stiff and stuck together. Although the room was a good size, the shower room as miniscule! To be fair we didn't ask for another room with a bigger shower room but our room was the lesser of the evils (we were shown two rooms and the first had nasty looking, big brown stains on the wall).
Location at Republique was connected to 5 metro lines, fab for getting around. Staff were superb. Comfortable and very clean bedding. Rooms made up every day. TV with music channel which was great when you dont have much french.
En suite door would not close, which led to limited privacy. Room needs painting. More care needed when cleaning bathrooms, there was dirt in the grout in the shower. Smell of smoke down the corridor from guests using the shared toilet for smoking in. Breakfast was expensive and breakfast room unattended, no croissants even though there were meant to be some, and nobody to ask
We liked the location, close to metro, boulangerie for breakfast, and walking distance to some of the sights. Generally friendly staff, comfortable beds - and so tired after walking all day long, that sharing a bed with my teenage son wasn't as bad as I expected!
Picture showed a double and two singles, but we had two doubles in our room. Tiny bathroom, but functional and good enough for our short stay.
Very narrow elevator Not as clean as expected, e.g., part of the toilette was repaired and looks really ugly, one can see all the mess on the wall and the pipes. There was a 5 cm gap below the door of the room. The guests in other rooms were smoking and I could smell it during whole the night. Indeed, I woke up by such a smell during midnight. For Paris it should be mid range, but in general I expected a much better hotel for ~100 euro per night.
Not good value, decor in need of major refresh, bathroom very small and in bad state of repair. I would not recommend this hotel
Location. Room size for 3 great.
Bathroom was tiny. If you drop soap or shampoo, you have to open shower door and practically get out to pick up. Wifi was always not connection. Had to go in the hall way to see about connection. Plus, in this du and age you had to pay for wifi. The price of the room should include this, but sadly no.
Bed was comfortable Hotel Location in Place de la Republique was quite convenient
Staff did not inform that Wifi was to be purchased and printed the ticket Hotels mentions that all rooms have a view. Furthermore, I requested to have a room with a view at the highest possible floor. We were allocated to a backroom on the 2nd floor. Walls were paper thin (so it seems, at least)
Staff very efficient and helpful.
Wifi didn't work with iPad, android, or iPhone. Did get a refund.
breakfast good, coffee good, staff nice, sheets clean. Staff member let us see room first, decided to stay as we were tired, poor mistake.
Towels shaggy and gray, mold in shower, plaster in bath crumbling, carpet need a shampoo, pillows yellow. Had to pay 2 nights as we checked after one night, bad public relations.
The hotel was good. Stayed on 4th floor. Bought the wifi which was awful. Kept going in and out. Woman who greeted is couldn't have been nicer and professional.
Morning guy who checked is out was rude. I understand being tired. But i don't want to hear about it andi don't want your advice on how to raise my kids.
Nice friendly staff Most helpful
Bathroom too small
Close to metro station, Laundromat, and grocery store and Hop-on-Hop-off bus.
bathroom ridiculously small, bedroom dated and drab. No closet etc...
Comfy beds, clean, quite spacious room for 4 . Location is good enough. I would describe the location as in between Monmartre and City Center. Turbigo street is neat and was not too loud at night.Shower is small as I believe in majority of hotels in Paris. Would return again if there would be valuable offer.
In this price and location as the most I can recommend :)
The room was clean and maintained daily. The staff at the front desk were great - day time staff were better than the ones overnight. Bathroom was clean - shower very small but workable. Very good location -close to subway and many good restaurants, bakeries and shopping
The paid WI-fi was bad - had to go to the lobby mostly to get it work...down 4 flights of stairs and back up - did this several times one day. Also in the bathrooms if they put a wire rack in the shower that would be good no where to put soap etc.....
I Stay on 5th floor. The lift ridiculous only go until 4th. The room and bath very small and noysy. The internet is for slow, only one equipment and must be connected manually every time. But the hotel were full because of price and localization. I think my room was the worst of the hotel, but was the only i saw.
Next to Metro station, this is the one and only good thing of this hotel.
145 EUR per night for this hotel is basically not acceptable. Rooms not properly cleaned, uncomfortable beds and pillows, almost no plugs for chargers, shower was flooding after 2 minutes... breakfast and wifi moreover not included!
liked the big room, big beds, nice clean.
towels were tooooooo old, room is a bit smelly, but opened window for a while, it was ok then. bath room was so so small, shower place was so small and couldn't turn around my body. weird.
Someone tried to jump off the roof the first night we stayed in the hotel
Location wasn't bad.
The reception staff were arrogant & unfriendly. The shower recess was less than 1 meter square. We looked out our window into the kitchen of an apartment opposite.
Location, 2/3 of front desk staff was helpful
Very noisy, theft concern with maid coming into room without knocking at random times. Very miserable man working front desk. Would not stay here again.
