This hotel is the perfect way to end a holiday before flying home. We could have stayed an extra night its that good.
Free shuttle to / from airport. Accomodation fine if you need to be near airport. Manager sorted out problem very effectively. Public area very comfortable, free wifi, choice of casual and more formal dinning, helpful staff, pleasant atmosphere.
Excessive Charge for in room wifi. Hard to find shuttle pick up on arrival, airport quite confusing if you don't know your way around. PS, not your problem but would never return via Charles de Gaulle airport EVER again!
Great service & comfort.
We had a very good meal at the hotel restaurant. The gazpacho with the cucumber sorbet was outstanding.
Room was comfort
Internet service & need to improve room service & help desk which reply late.
The staff is excellent. Hotel is modern, clean, quiet, comfortable and I could go on.
Very attentive staff
Hotel lacks some character (features)
Helpful, attentive staff at Reception, in Housekeeping and bar and restaurant. The shuttle to the airport was on time and the driver was helpful, too. Good place to stay the night before a departure.
The Caesar salad was made with iceberg lettuce. The classic recipe calls for romaine lettuce. The gazpacho was very good. The breakfast buffet was excellent and well balanced and presented.
The shuttle was efficient and the drivers and bell men helping load luggage onto the shuttle were very kind and helpful. Informing us that another shuttle was on its way when the 7:00 AM shuttle was full. The room was clean and spacious.
Upon arrival the man at reception was sarcastic and thought that he had a sense of humor. Was distasteful. We had dinner in the restaurant and the service was very, very poor. The food that we ordered did not match the description on the menu, so we did not get what we ordered, extremely disappointing.
The room, the amenities, the public areas...in fact verything about the hotel.
Charles de Gaulle Airport... it's not designed for humans.
Although I did not speak French everyone was extremely courteous And went out of their way to help us. I would definitely recommend and stay there again
Rooms were large; well appointed and public spaces similar - very good staff/responsive.
Would have rated value for money good but breakfast options are pricy, as geared to business travellers. Room was value for money for our stay. Shuttle service may need to go in 15 minute intervals during peak times which would mean most of the day!
The facilities are OK but not truly value for money, a little disappointing.
The wifi internet is lousy, you pay 8 euro for 1 hour internet in your room which in my opinion is extortionate and should be free like every where one goes these day's and in the general area's it is free but totally crap with no connection, so forget connecting. The shuttle service to the airport is also crap, lots of people wanting to get onboard the shuttle service, like 7 people in a bus (like being locked in a prison cell) and those who can't get on have to wait a further 20 minutes for the next shuttle, so totally useless if you have a tight schedule and for an establishment as the Marriott a big disappointment. I was thinking US efficiency, but forget it, it sucks. At a rate of 250 euro a night I expected much more. Breakfast with a single espresso and a few mini croissants @ euro 9 is over the top. Lets get back to Asia where service is prime and prices are in relation to what you get and the service is impeccable, they have a lot to learn here I'm afraid. I would consider staying here again but not at this price level. In summary, very disappointing. On my previous trip I stayed at the Hyatt for half the price and all was super but unfortunately they were fully booked. Marriott get a grip and get the price, quality relationship together. Cheers Ramie
It was close to the airport and provided shuttle service to the airport. I also like that I know what to expect when booking a Marriott property...consistent, high quality properties.
I don't like that there is a fee for wifi in the guest rooms. I slo don't like properties where the power only works whne the key card inserted. This makes it impossible to charge your phone or computer if you are out of the room. When paying for a premium for a premium property you don't expect to be nickle and dimed for these types of things.
Airport shuttle only delivering us to terminal 2
This was a lovely place to stay. It was convenient to the airport, we appreciated the shuttle and the staff was helpful and friendly.
Bar set-up, staff in bar and food options. Staff at check-in......room was more than comfortable.
A little over priced for staying 1 night.
Location - close to the airport, but very nice quite place. Design.
Not very clean, a little bit shabby room
The main reason we stayed here was to get Marriott points, location to CDG airport, and supposed shuttle to airport. We were told shuttle runs every 20 minutes to our specific terminal. We had fortunately allowed 3 hours prior to plane take-off and barely made it. Not only was the 9:40 am shuttle 15 minutes late, we were not allowed to board! Only airline crew members!! After complaining to front desk (along with three others waiting with us), we were told another would be there soon. About 10:10 am a very small van showed up and we were all dumped at the same terminal. Driver had no idea where he was going, took over 1/2 hour to get to airport, and didn't care. We had to take a train to our terminal - another 1/2 hour. Also, restaurant does not open for dinner until 7 pm. We were not "allowed" to sit at dining area tables right next to bar if we ordered off very limited bar menu.
Clean spacious rooms
Pleasant incompetent staff that tries but doesn't deliver and certainly can't make up for mundane kitchen.
staff , dust on tables and furniture, extra charges for any request
Checking in was extremely slow. A lot of people in line and not enough staff working
From explanation on how to get from Paris centre to the hotels shuttle pick up to reception and room and return to airport was fantastic Could not have wished for better
Everything was to like
No one to help with luggage after midnight from the curb to reception. The night manager then took the luggage to the room, after I loaded the cart and brought it in
Efficiency of Desk Staff.
Too efficient staff at desk who forgot to tell us about cheaper breakfast ... But OK, for once I had my breakfast ...
