Only a men staff really unfriendly!!!!
I liked the fact that it was close to a metro station - Temple. It was just a base for my short stay in Paris but it was very comfortable.
Not sure of the hotel having a business centre but if there was one I didn't use it....
no facial tower
Receptionist was excellent - very helpful. Exceptionally clean rooms.
Located next to a church, so the bells were loud in Sunday morning. Generally no complaints though.
Wifi actually worked very well most of the time (really rare)! Adjusting the heating actually worked (not only very cold or hot but could be set somewhere between, rare too).
The bathroom was a bit cold (that's very usual, so not a big deal).
The staff were amazing. They made us feel really welcome. Location was great, 5 metro stations within 5 minutes of the hotel.
Great staff welcomed us even when checking in very late. Very comfortable bed and super clean bathroom. Very helpful reception when checking out. Very close to le Marais without the expense of being in it.
Great location. Very near major metro stations. Easy to get around. Lots of shops nearby. Room is a bit on the small side, but that is expected for the relatively low room rates. Good value for money.
Breakfast was basic, but that is just me being picky. For the price (6 euro) I really shouldn't complain.
the staf was very sweet and good and the hotel was very clean
Everything. Close to metro.
The elevador is so small only two persons could fit in there (without bags). The building has 6 floors.
neighborhood. room and full bath. close to republique metro. staff is excellent. great neighborhood.
breakfast is coffee and bread.
Very sweet, helpful staff. A relatively large room by Parisen standards. Very clean. All bedding, wall and floor coverings and furniture in good condition. Twin room with nice balcony. Lift large enough for two. Quiet and fast.
Bathroom, as usual in Paris, too cramped for large people.
Very Friendly staff! Restaurants and Bistros around the streets, 2 Metro Stations nearby. Parking can be reserved.
The hotel is well placed just by Temple metro and very near to Republique. It is comfortable and basic.
Friendly staff, well situated in Paris.
Difficult to park car near hotel
friendliness of staff, cleanliness, central location, almost all sights can be reached on foot, metro nearby
accomodation for three nights but room service only first day
emplacement confort des chambres
We took the metro from Gare du Nord to Place de la Republique, a short walk to the hotel. We were able to walk the few miles from the hotel to the Louvre, Champs Elysee, Eiffel Tower and other sites (Metro site quite close by but we preferred to walk). Breakfast was excellent and reasonable (at 6 euros/pp). Staff was quite friendly and very helpful in answering all our questions, even tolerating my beginner's French. The room was clean and very quiet, well insulated from street noises.
What we liked about the hotel far exceeded what we found lacking. The room was small, but that's to be expected at this price. The bed, however, was small for us (a double; we're used to a queen or king) and not very comfortable.
Internet was great. Cute, comfortable room.
The room was a bit smaller than shown in picture.
The location was fabulous, the area so beautiful, the room was clean, the bathroom functional, I had a view of the church next door, and a nice desk to do work late at night. Breakfast was nice, simple, and classy. The whole place was just very pleasant.
While I was there the boiler was out. That meant no hot water in November, in Paris. Brrrrrr! However, they were so friendly and nice about it, and refunded me for all the breakfasts while I was there. Still, it was painful.
This is our regular Paris hotel, and the fact that we keep going back tells the whole story. It is pleasant, comfortable and the staff are excellent..
They had a couple of lapses this time (the loo paper ran out, for instance) but over the years they have been so good and so steady that it would be churlish to complain.
The hotel is in nice area surrounded by some streets with pubs and restaurants. We were on top floor and had some view on Eifel tower from our window (looking nice at night time). Is very close to the metro, what is the easiest way to get everywhere around for €1.70 and walking distance to attractions the closet one was Nothre Dame about 15min straight down to long street.
There was a bit of smell coming out of bathroom but we where out most of the day so not big issue.
The beds were comfortable and location of the hotel was central
Breakfast extremely basic but probably no different to other hotels in this price range.
The staff were very helpful and friendly The hotel was close to a metro station which made it easier to transfer from place to another in the city
I would like to have a bigger room and spacious elevator
