You have a problem, things get fixed. Staff still smiling and helpful.
Breakfast at 06.00 is still being missed but I generally am in no rush, others may not be so patient.
Quiet part of Paris. Close to the fast metro line 14. Really friendly staff. Great value for the money because we got the Holiday price deal which is significantly lower than the rack rate.
Breakfast perhaps not as complete as in some other IBIS in the world.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you have a problem, rarely, it is generally quickly fixed that day or the next. 12 weeks at this hotel must say something. Possibly another 6 weeks to go.
Since the start of the New Year, the 06.00 breakfast start has been a bit hit and miss. This could be related to one member of staff being on holiday?? Reception is always willing to help the early starters where possible.
Very nice bedroom and bathroom, fashionable furniture and interior design, great breakfast (7-10am), quietness, good neighbourhood (6 minutes walk from the nearest metro station), very good and fast connection with the central district by metro number 14 (it is one of the fastest subways in the city).
One receptionist was 'ice-cold.'
Services of the some counter staffs were excellent. They are very helpful. They also speak English and Spanish. Breakfast to us is simple but very good. I think the bread with the sesame & sunflower seed is the best in Paris. Crispy outside and soft inside.
Room a bit small but maybe normal in Paris. Ventilation in room is a bit of problem for us but maybe becoz we are not use to temperate countries heating & cooling system.
The staff are friendly, efficient, and helpful, providing information on local facilities. I have made further bookings for the new year taking me into double figures for number of weeks stopped.
Rooms are quite warm and the air conditioning units a little antiquated. Could be improved.
I stayed there for 1 night (late arrival - early departure) coming for a conference. The hotel is conveniently located around "Bibliotheque Francois Mitterand" area. Porte d'Ivry is nearby (5 min walk) with its thousands of Vietnamese/Oriental restaurants. City centre is 15 min away by metro. A decent breakfast (was included in the price) plus a complimentary tea/coffee/croissants all day long were a part of the "facilities"
Nothing I can think of
I am now in my 8th week at the hotel on a prolonged business visit. All of the reception staff have been friendly and efficient from day one, as have the ladies providing the breakfast. More weeks to come in the New Year.
There is only one thing that is annoying and that is the squeaking door to the kitchen. It acts as an alarm that the breakfast is being prepared.
Staff were friendly. Room was clean. I had a good night's rest. Breakfast bar was satisfactory.
There was a semi-unpleasant smell in the room, which one may attribute to some sort of cleaning product. The wifi connection stopped working in my room.
early check-in, quiet location that is close to metro, pleasant breakfast area/lobby with free tea/coffee and pastries, hotel has recently been renovated
seems like renovation has been completed in a hurry with some details missing, poor ventilation in the bathroom (window did not open), small room
hotel was very clean and everyone was very friendly!
The bathtub is great ! And the breakfast is brilliant !
the twin room is a bit small , hard to put my luggage
Repeat bookings up until Xmas because it is better than others used previously. Cancelled other hotel bookings to stay at the Ibis.
no parking unsafe neighbourhood
Breakfast, free criossants, tea and coffee all day - front desk staff were excellent and very helpful. Got a full refund when we decided this hotel was not for us. They tried to find us another IBIS hotel.
The location was in a dubious neighbourhood. We felt unsafe walking around but had no issues. We booked for 3 nights, but left after 1. The room felt like we were in a hospital ward. View from the room was of an old office building. Long walk from the Metro.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable, quiet bedroom
Breakfast choice very little Wi-Fi not very strong in the rooms No English news channel on the TV, would suggest adding BBC World News
*Helpful, attentive staff *New facilities *Breakfast *Free coffee/tea at reception
*Smell of paint in the room *Shower head & support fell of the wall
Our stay at the Ibis Styles Paris Bercy was delightful. The staff were courteous and helpful. One young lady at reception was very kind and made phone calls for me to confirm tour bookings. Our room was clean and comfortable and the meals were delicious. We ate several dinners at the hotel as we were very tired after busy days of seeing the sights. The evening steward in the dining room was another example of the excellent staff. The hotel is very conveniently situated to both the Metro and the bus network. It was very easy to negotiate our journey from Charles DeGaulle Airport to the Hotel and then to Gare du Nord to board EuroStar. Overall we would be happy to recommend the Ibis Styles Paris Bercy to other travellers to Paris.
Our only comment is that the room was very hot and we would have appreciated a window that opened. The provision of a sheet as well as the duvet so that we could choose a lighter covering would also have been helpful.
